David wird König von ganz Israel und zieht nach Jerusalem

2 Schon früher, als Saul noch König über uns war, warst du es, der Israel aus- und einführte. Und der HERR hat zu dir gesagt: Du sollst mein Volk Israel weiden, und du sollst Fürst sein über Israel! (1Sam 13,14; 1Sam 18,16; 2Sam 7,8; Ps 78,71; Jes 55,4)

3 Und alle Ältesten Israels kamen zu dem König nach Hebron. Und der König David machte mit ihnen einen Bund in Hebron vor dem HERRN. Und sie salbten David zum König über Israel. (1Sam 16,3; 1Sam 16,13; 1Sam 23,18; 2Sam 2,4; 2Kön 11,17; Ps 2,6)

4 David war 30 Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte 40 Jahre lang. (1Chr 29,27; Lk 3,23) 5 In Hebron regierte er über Juda sieben Jahre und sechs Monate; aber in Jerusalem regierte er über ganz Israel und Juda 33 Jahre. (2Sam 2,11; 1Kön 2,11; 1Chr 3,4) 6 Und der König zog mit seinen Männern nach Jerusalem gegen die Jebusiter, die im Land wohnten. Die aber sprachen zu David und sagten: Du wirst hier nicht hereinkommen, sondern die Blinden und die Lahmen werden dich vertreiben! Denn sie dachten: David kann nicht hier hereinkommen! 8 Und David sprach an jenem Tag: Wer die Jebusiter schlägt und die Wasserleitung erreicht und die Lahmen und Blinden, denen die Seele Davids feind ist, [dem wird eine Belohnung zuteil].^[1] Daher sagt man: »Es darf kein Blinder oder Lahmer ins Haus kommen!« (3Mo 21,18; 1Chr 11,6; Mt 21,14) 9 Und David wohnte in der Burg und nannte sie »Stadt Davids«. 11 Und Hiram, der König von Tyrus, sandte Boten zu David und Zedernstämme und Zimmerleute und Maurer, und sie bauten David ein Haus. (1Kön 5,1; 1Chr 14,1) 12 Und David erkannte, dass der HERR ihn zum König über Israel bestätigt und sein Königreich zu Ansehen gebracht hatte um seines Volkes Israel willen. 13 Und David nahm sich noch mehr Nebenfrauen und Frauen aus Jerusalem, nachdem er von Hebron gekommen war, und es wurden ihm noch mehr Söhne und Töchter geboren. Doppelter Sieg Davids über die Philister

17 Als aber die Philister hörten, dass man David zum König über Israel gesalbt hatte, da zogen sie alle herauf, um David herauszufordern. Als David dies erfuhr, zog er zur Bergfeste hinab. (1Sam 22,1; 2Sam 23,14; Ps 91,2) 18 Die Philister aber waren gekommen und breiteten sich aus im Tal der Rephaiter. (Jos 15,8; 1Chr 11,15) 19 Und David befragte den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich gegen die Philister hinaufziehen? Und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Und der HERR sprach zu David: Ziehe hinauf, denn ich werde die Philister gewiss in deine Hand geben! (1Sam 28,6; 1Sam 30,8; 2Sam 2,1; Spr 3,6; Röm 12,2; Eph 5,17)

20 Und David kam nach Baal-Perazim; und David schlug sie dort und sprach: Der HERR hat meine Feinde vor mir zerrissen, wie das Wasser [einen Damm] zerreißt! Daher nannte man jenen Ort Baal-Perazim. (5Mo 7,5; 5Mo 7,25; 1Chr 14,12; Ps 58,8; Jes 28,21)

22 Aber die Philister zogen nochmals herauf und breiteten sich aus im Tal der Rephaiter. (1Kön 20,22; 1Chr 14,13) 23 Und David befragte den HERRN. Da sprach er: Ziehe nicht hinauf, sondern umgehe sie und falle ihnen in den Rücken, dass du von den Balsambäumen her an sie herankommst. (Jos 8,2; Jos 8,7; 2Sam 5,19) 24 Und wenn du in den Wipfeln der Balsambäume das Geräusch eines Einherschreitens hören wirst, dann beeile dich; denn dann ist der HERR vor dir hergezogen, um das Heer der Philister zu schlagen! (Ri 4,14; 2Kön 7,6; 1Chr 14,14) 25 Und David machte es so, wie es der HERR ihm geboten hatte, und er schlug die Philister von Geba an bis man nach Geser kommt. (Jos 10,32; Jos 18,24; Ps 32,8)

1 Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. 2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel. 3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah. 6 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither. 7 Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. 8 And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David' soul, he shall be chief and captain . Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house. 9 So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. 10 And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him. 11 And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. 12 And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel' sake. 13 And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David. 14 And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, 15 Ibhar also, and Elishua, and Nepheg, and Japhia, 16 And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphalet. 17 But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it , and went down to the hold. 18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 19 And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand. 20 And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim. 21 And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them. 22 And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 23 And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 24 And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. 25 And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.
