1Und nach sechs Tagen nahm Jesus den Petrus, den Jakobus und dessen Bruder Johannes mit sich und führte sie beiseite auf einen hohen Berg. Die Heilung eines mondsüchtigen Knaben
14Und als sie zur Volksmenge kamen, trat ein Mensch zu ihm, fiel vor ihm auf die Knie15und sprach: Herr, erbarme dich über meinen Sohn, denn er ist mondsüchtig und leidet schwer; er fällt nämlich oft ins Feuer und oft ins Wasser! (Mt 4,24)16Und ich habe ihn zu deinen Jüngern gebracht, aber sie konnten ihn nicht heilen. (Mt 10,1; Lk 10,17)17Da antwortete Jesus und sprach: O du ungläubiges und verkehrtes Geschlecht! Wie lange soll ich bei euch sein? Wie lange soll ich euch ertragen? Bringt ihn her zu mir! (4Mo 14,11; Ps 95,10; Phil 2,15; Hebr 11,6)18Und Jesus befahl dem Dämon, und er fuhr von ihm aus, und der Knabe war gesund von jener Stunde an. (Lk 4,35; Apg 10,38)19Da traten die Jünger allein zu Jesus und sprachen: Warum konnten wir ihn nicht austreiben? (Mk 9,28)20Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Um eures Unglaubens willen! Denn wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben hättet wie ein Senfkorn, so würdet ihr zu diesem Berg sprechen: Hebe dich weg von hier dorthin!, und er würde sich hinwegheben; und nichts würde euch unmöglich sein. (Mt 21,21; Mk 9,23; Lk 17,6; Joh 11,40; Hebr 3,19; Jak 1,6; 1Joh 5,4)21Aber diese Art fährt nicht aus außer durch Gebet und Fasten.
Die zweite Ankündigung von Jesu Tod und Auferstehung
22Als sie nun ihren Weg durch Galiläa nahmen, sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Der Sohn des Menschen wird in die Hände der Menschen ausgeliefert werden, (Mt 20,18; Mt 26,2; Mt 26,45)23und sie werden ihn töten, und am dritten Tag wird er auferweckt werden. Und sie wurden sehr betrübt. (Mt 16,21; Joh 16,5)
Die Zahlung der Tempelsteuer
24Als sie aber nach Kapernaum kamen, traten die Einnehmer der Tempelsteuer zu Petrus und sprachen: Zahlt euer Meister nicht auch die zwei Drachmen? (2Mo 30,12; 2Chr 24,6)25Er antwortete: Doch! Und als er ins Haus trat, kam ihm Jesus zuvor und sprach: Was meinst du, Simon, von wem nehmen die Könige der Erde den Zoll oder die Steuer, von ihren Söhnen oder von den Fremden? (Mt 22,17; Röm 13,7)26Petrus sagte zu ihm: Von den Fremden. Da sprach Jesus zu ihm: So sind also die Söhne frei!27Damit wir ihnen aber keinen Anstoß geben, geh hin an den See, wirf die Angel aus und nimm den ersten Fisch, den du herausziehst, und wenn du sein Maul öffnest, wirst du einen Stater finden; den nimm und gib ihn für mich und dich! La révélation du royaume
1Six jours plus tard, Jésus prit avec lui Pierre, Jacques et Jean son frère, et les emmena sur une haute montagne, à l’écart. (Mk 9,2; Lk 9,28)2Il fut transfiguré devant eux: son visage se mit à resplendir comme le soleil; ses vêtements prirent une blancheur éclatante, comme la lumière.3Et voici que Moïse et Elie[1] leur apparurent: ils s’entretenaient avec Jésus.4Pierre s’adressa à Jésus et lui dit: Seigneur, il est bon que nous soyons ici. Si tu es d’accord, je vais dresser ici trois tentes, une pour toi, une pour Moïse et une pour Elie …5Pendant qu’il parlait ainsi, une nuée lumineuse les enveloppa, et une voix en sortit qui disait: Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé, celui qui fait toute ma joie. La guérison d’un enfant habité par un démon
14Quand ils furent revenus auprès de la foule, un homme s’approcha de Jésus, se jeta à genoux devant lui et le supplia: (Mk 9,14; Lk 9,37)15Seigneur, aie pitié de mon fils: il est épileptique[2] et il souffre beaucoup: il lui arrive souvent de tomber dans le feu ou dans l’eau. (Mt 4,24)16Je l’ai bien amené à tes disciples, mais ils n’ont pas réussi à le guérir.17Jésus s’exclama alors: Gens incrédules et infidèles à Dieu! Jusqu’à quand devrai-je encore rester avec vous? Jusqu’à quand devrai-je encore vous supporter? Amenez-moi l’enfant ici!18Jésus commanda avec sévérité au démon de sortir et, immédiatement, celui-ci sortit de l’enfant, qui fut guéri à l’heure même.19Alors, les disciples prirent Jésus à part et le questionnèrent: Pourquoi n’avons-nous pas réussi, nous, à chasser ce démon?20-21– Parce que vous n’avez que peu de foi, leur répondit-il. Vraiment, je vous l’assure, si vous aviez de la foi, même si elle n’était pas plus grosse qu’une graine de moutarde[3], vous pourriez commander à cette montagne: Déplace-toi d’ici jusque là-bas, et elle le ferait. Rien ne vous serait impossible[4].
La nouvelle annonce de la mort et de la résurrection de Jésus
22Un jour qu’ils parcouraient ensemble la Galilée, Jésus leur dit: Le Fils de l’homme va être livré aux mains des hommes; (Mk 9,30; Lk 9,43)23ils le feront mourir mais, le troisième jour, il ressuscitera. Les disciples furent extrêmement affligés par ces paroles.
L’impôt du Temple
24Ils se rendirent à Capernaüm. Là, les agents chargés de percevoir l’impôt pour le Temple vinrent trouver Pierre et lui demandèrent: Votre Maître ne paie-t-il pas l’impôt du Temple?25– Si, répondit-il, il le paie. Quand Pierre fut entré dans la maison, Jésus, prenant les devants, lui demanda: Qu’en penses-tu, Simon? Qui est-ce qui paie les taxes et les impôts aux rois de la terre? Les fils ou les étrangers?26– Les étrangers, répondit Pierre. – Donc, reprit Jésus, les fils n’ont rien à payer.27Toutefois, ne semons pas le trouble chez ces gens. Descends donc jusqu’au lac, lance ta ligne à l’eau, attrape le premier poisson qui mordra, et ouvre-lui la bouche: tu y trouveras une pièce d’argent. Prends-la et donne-la aux agents en paiement de l’impôt pour nous deux.
