1Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:2Gebiete den Kindern Israels und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land Kanaan kommt, so ist dies das Land, das euch als Erbteil zufällt: das Land Kanaan in seinen Grenzen. (1Mo 15,18; Jer 3,19)3Der südliche Rand soll sich erstrecken von der Wüste Zin, Edom entlang, sodass eure südliche Grenze am Ende des Salzmeers beginnt, das gegen Osten liegt. (1Mo 14,3; Jos 15,1; Jos 15,2)4Dann soll sich eure Grenze südlich der Anhöhe Akrabbim wenden, bis nach Zin gehen und südlich von Kadesch-Barnea enden; von dort soll sie nach Hazar-Addar gehen und hinüber nach Azmon; (4Mo 13,26; 4Mo 20,1; 4Mo 20,16; 4Mo 32,8; Jos 15,3; Ri 1,36)5von Azmon soll sie sich zum Bach Ägyptens hin wenden, und ihr Ende soll am Meer sein.[1] (Jos 15,4; Jos 15,47; 1Kön 8,65)6Als westliche Grenze soll euch das große Meer und seine Küste dienen; das sei eure Grenze gegen Westen. (Jos 1,4; Jos 15,12; Jos 23,4; Hes 47,20)7Dies soll eure nördliche Grenze sein: Vom großen Meer sollt ihr die Grenze ziehen bis zum Berg Hor,8und vom Berg Hor sollt ihr die Grenze ziehen, bis man nach Hamat kommt, und die Grenze soll nach Zedad hin auslaufen; (4Mo 13,21; Jos 13,5; 1Kön 8,65; 2Kön 14,25; Hes 47,15)9dann soll sich die Grenze bis Siphron erstrecken, und sie soll bei Hazar-Enan auslaufen. Das sei eure Grenze gegen Norden. (Hes 47,17)10Als östliche Grenze aber sollt ihr euch festsetzen eine Linie von Hazar-Enan bis Schepham. (Jos 15,5)11Und die Grenze soll von Schepham nach Ribla herabgehen, östlich von Ain. Danach soll sie herabgehen und sich auf die Seite des Sees Genezareth ziehen, gegen Osten, (5Mo 3,17; Jos 12,3; 2Kön 23,33; 2Kön 25,6; 2Kön 25,20; Mt 14,34; Lk 5,1)12und die Grenze soll herabkommen an den Jordan und beim Salzmeer auslaufen. Das sollen ringsum die Grenzen für euer Land sein. (4Mo 34,2)13Und Mose gebot den Kindern Israels und sprach: Das ist das Land, welches ihr durch das Los als Erbe erhalten sollt, das der HERR den neun Stämmen und dem halben Stamm zu geben befohlen hat. (Jos 14,1)14Denn der Stamm der Kinder Rubens mit ihren Vaterhäusern, und der Stamm der Kinder Gads mit ihren Vaterhäusern haben ihren Teil empfangen, auch der halbe Stamm Manasse hat seinen Teil bekommen. (4Mo 32,22; 4Mo 32,33; 5Mo 3,12; Jos 13,8; Jos 14,3)15So haben die beiden Stämme und der halbe Stamm ihr Erbteil empfangen diesseits des Jordan, Jericho gegenüber, nach Osten, gegen Sonnenaufgang. (4Mo 32,33; Jos 13,8; Jos 14,2)16Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:17Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die das Land unter euch zum Erbe austeilen sollen: Eleasar, der Priester, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns. (4Mo 13,1; Jos 14,1; Jos 19,51)18Dazu sollt ihr von jedem Stamm einen Fürsten nehmen, um das Land zum Erbe auszuteilen. (4Mo 1,4)19Und dies sind die Namen der Männer: Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, vom Stamm Juda; (4Mo 13,6; Jos 14,6)20Samuel, der Sohn Ammihuds, vom Stamm der Kinder Simeons;21Elidad, der Sohn Kislons, vom Stamm Benjamin;22Buki, der Sohn Joglis, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Dans.23Hanniel, der Sohn Ephods, von den Kindern Josephs, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Manasses;24und Kemuel, der Sohn Schiphtans, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Ephraims;25Elizaphan, der Sohn Parnachs, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Sebulons;26Paltiel, der Sohn Assans, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Issaschars;27Ahihud, der Sohn Schelomis, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Assers;28Pedahel, der Sohn Ammihuds, der Fürst des Stammes der Kinder Naphtalis.29Das sind die, denen der HERR gebot, den Kindern Israels das Erbe im Land Kanaan auszuteilen. 1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,2“Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you enter the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan as defined by its borders), (1Mo 17,8; 2Mo 3,8; 4Mo 34,13; Ps 105,11)3your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside Edom, and your southern border shall run from the end of the Salt Sea on the east. (1Mo 14,3; 1Mo 15,18; 4Mo 34,12; Jos 15,1; Jos 15,2; Hes 47,13)4And your border shall turn south of the ascent of Akrabbim, and cross to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon. (Jos 15,3)5And the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its limit shall be at the sea. This shall be your western border.7“This shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to Mount Hor. (4Mo 33,37)8From Mount Hor you shall draw a line to Lebo-hamath, and the limit of the border shall be at Zedad. (4Mo 13,21; 2Kön 14,25; Hes 47,15; Hes 48,1)9Then the border shall extend to Ziphron, and its limit shall be at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern border. (Hes 47,17)10“You shall draw a line for your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham.11And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. And the border shall go down and reach to the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth on the east. (5Mo 3,17; Jos 11,2; Jos 12,3; Jos 19,35; 2Kön 23,33; Jer 39,5; Mt 4,18; Lk 5,1)12And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limit shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.” (4Mo 34,3)13Moses commanded the people of Israel, saying, “This is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. (4Mo 34,2; Jos 14,1)14For the tribe of the people of Reuben by fathers’ houses and the tribe of the people of Gad by their fathers’ houses have received their inheritance, and also the half-tribe of Manasseh. (4Mo 32,33; Jos 14,3)15The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, toward the sunrise.”

16The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,17“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. (Jos 14,1; Jos 19,51)18You shall take one chief from every tribe to divide the land for inheritance. (4Mo 1,4; 4Mo 1,16)19These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.20Of the tribe of the people of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.22Of the tribe of the people of Dan a chief, Bukki the son of Jogli.23Of the people of Joseph: of the tribe of the people of Manasseh a chief, Hanniel the son of Ephod.24And of the tribe of the people of Ephraim a chief, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.25Of the tribe of the people of Zebulun a chief, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.26Of the tribe of the people of Issachar a chief, Paltiel the son of Azzan.27And of the tribe of the people of Asher a chief, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.28Of the tribe of the people of Naphtali a chief, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”29These are the men whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance for the people of Israel in the land of Canaan.
