1После сего виночерпий царя Египетского и хлебодар провинились пред господином своим, царем Египетским.2И прогневался фараон на двух царедворцев своих, на главного виночерпия и на главного хлебодара,3и отдал их под стражу в дом начальника телохранителей, в темницу, в место, где заключен был Иосиф.4Начальник телохранителей приставил к ним Иосифа, и он служил им. И пробыли они под стражею несколько времени.5Однажды виночерпию и хлебодару царя Египетского, заключенным в темнице, виделись сны, каждому свой сон, обоим в одну ночь, каждому сон особенного значения.6И пришел к ним Иосиф поутру, увидел их, и вот, они в смущении.7И спросил он царедворцев фараоновых, находившихся с ним в доме господина его под стражею, говоря: отчего у вас сегодня печальные лица?8Они сказали ему: нам виделись сны; а истолковать их некому. Иосиф сказал им: не от Бога ли истолкования? расскажите мне.9И рассказал главный виночерпий Иосифу сон свой и сказал ему: мне снилось, вот виноградная лоза предо мною;10на лозе три ветви; она развилась, показался на ней цвет, выросли и созрели на ней ягоды;11и чаша фараонова в руке у меня; я взял ягод, выжал их в чашу фараонову и подал чашу в руку фараону.12И сказал ему Иосиф: вот истолкование его: три ветви – это три дня;13через три дня фараон вознесет главу твою и возвратит тебя на место твое, и ты подашь чашу фараонову в руку его, по прежнему обыкновению, когда ты был у него виночерпием;14вспомни же меня, когда хорошо тебе будет, и сделай мне благодеяние, и упомяни обо мне фараону, и выведи меня из этого дома,15ибо я украден из земли Евреев; а также и здесь ничего не сделал, за что бы бросить меня в темницу.16Главный хлебодар увидел, что истолковал он хорошо, и сказал Иосифу: мне также снилось: вот на голове у меня три корзины решетчатых;17в верхней корзине всякая пища фараонова, изделие пекаря, и птицы клевали ее из корзины на голове моей.18И отвечал Иосиф и сказал: вот истолкование его: три корзины – это три дня;19через три дня фараон снимет с тебя голову твою и повесит тебя на дереве, и птицы будут клевать плоть твою с тебя.20На третий день, день рождения фараонова, сделал он пир для всех слуг своих и вспомнил о главном виночерпии и главном хлебодаре среди слуг своих;21и возвратил главного виночерпия на прежнее место, и он подал чашу в руку фараону,22а главного хлебодара повесил, как истолковал им Иосиф.23И не вспомнил главный виночерпий об Иосифе, но забыл его.
1Después de algún tiempo, el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto ofendieron a su señor.2El faraón se enojó contra estos dos funcionarios suyos, es decir, contra el jefe de los coperos y el jefe de los panaderos,3así que los mandó presos a la casa del capitán de la guardia, que era la misma cárcel donde estaba preso José.4Allí, el capitán de la guardia le encargó a José que atendiera a estos funcionarios. Después de haber estado algún tiempo en la cárcel,5una noche los dos funcionarios, es decir, el copero y el panadero, tuvieron cada uno un sueño, cada sueño con su propio significado.6A la mañana siguiente, cuando José fue a verlos, los encontró muy preocupados,7y por eso les preguntó: ―¿Por qué andáis tan cabizbajos?8―Los dos tuvimos un sueño —respondieron—, y no hay nadie que nos lo interprete. ―¿Acaso no es Dios quien da la interpretación? —preguntó José—. ¿Por qué no me contáis lo que soñasteis?9Entonces el jefe de los coperos le contó a José el sueño que había tenido: ―Soñé que frente a mí había una vid,10la cual tenía tres ramas. En cuanto la vid echó brotes, floreció; y maduraron las uvas en los racimos.11Yo tenía la copa del faraón en la mano. Tomé las uvas, las exprimí en la copa, y luego puse la copa en manos del faraón.12Entonces José le dijo: ―Esta es la interpretación de tu sueño: Las tres ramas son tres días.13Dentro de los próximos tres días, el faraón te indultará y volverá a colocarte en tu cargo. Tú volverás a poner la copa del faraón en su mano, tal como lo hacías antes, cuando eras su copero.14Yo te ruego que no te olvides de mí. Por favor, cuando todo se haya arreglado, háblale tú de mí al faraón para que me saque de esta cárcel.15A mí me trajeron por la fuerza, de la tierra de los hebreos. ¡Yo no hice nada aquí para que me echaran en la cárcel!16Al ver que la interpretación había sido favorable, el jefe de los panaderos le dijo a José: ―Yo también tuve un sueño. En presencia de estos, mandó sacar de la cárcel al jefe de los coperos y al jefe de los panaderos.21Al jefe de los coperos lo restituyó en su cargo para que, una vez más, pusiera la copa en manos del faraón.22Pero, tal como había predicho José, al jefe de los panaderos mandó que lo ahorcaran.23Sin embargo, el jefe de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que se olvidó de él por completo.
