1 Cantem ao SENHOR um cântico novo; cantem-lhe em toda a Terra! 2 Cantem ao SENHOR; deem louvores à força do seu nome! Anunciem a sua salvação dia após dia! 3 Deem a conhecer entre todos os povos da Terra, como é excelsa a sua glória! Contem a todas as gentes as suas maravilhas! 4 Porque o SENHOR é grande e digno de todo o louvor; é muitíssimo superior a todos os chamados deuses. 5 Esses pretensos deuses são apenas ídolos, mas o SENHOR, esse é o Criador dos céus. 6 À sua volta só há glória e majestade; a força e a beleza encontram-se no seu santuário. 7 Ó povos de todas a nações, louvem o SENHOR; reconheçam a sua grande força e glória! 8 Sim, deem ao SENHOR a glória que é devida ao seu nome! Tragam ofertas e venham aos seus átrios! 9 Adorem o SENHOR revestido de santidade! Que a Terra inteira trema na sua presença! 10 Digam às nações: “O SENHOR governa o mundo, o mundo permanece inabalável! Ele julgará os povos com perfeita justiça.” 11 Alegrem-se os céus, regozije-se a Terra! Que os vastos mares exultem! 12 Que tudo o que os campos produzem seja um motivo para se louvar o Senhor, pois é uma prova do seu poder. Que as árvores das florestas exaltem o Criador, 13 porque o SENHOR virá. Ele há de vir para julgar a Terra com justiça e os povos com a sua verdade.

1 Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! (1 Cr 16:23; Sl 33:3; Sl 98:1) 2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. (Is 52:7; Is 60:6) 3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! 4 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. (Sl 18:3; Sl 48:1; Sl 95:3) 5 For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. (Sl 115:15; Is 42:5; Is 44:24; Jr 10:12) 6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. (Sl 78:61) 7 Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! (Sl 22:27; Sl 29:1) 8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! (Sl 29:2; Sl 45:12; Sl 68:29; Sl 72:10; Sl 100:4) 9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;[1] tremble before him, all the earth! (Sl 29:2; Sl 114:7) 10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.” (Sl 9:8; Sl 58:11; Sl 93:1; Sl 96:13) 11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; (Sl 69:34; Sl 97:1; Sl 98:7) 12 let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy (Is 35:1; Is 55:12) 13 before the Lord, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness. (Is 11:1)
