Salmo de David.

1 Louvem o SENHOR, ó anjos; louvem-no pela sua glória e força! 

2 Louvem-no pela grandeza da glória do seu nome; venham adorá-lo revestidos de santidade! 

3 A voz do SENHOR ouve-se sobre as nuvens; o Deus da glória troveja nos céus. O SENHOR ecoa sobre a vastidão dos mares. 

4 A voz do SENHOR é poderosa e cheia de majestade. 

5 A voz do SENHOR derruba os cedros e racha os cedros do Líbano. 

6 Sacode os montes do Líbano e de Siriom, que saltam como bezerros. (Dt 3:9) 

7 A voz do SENHOR troveja no relâmpago. 

8 A voz do SENHOR faz tremer o deserto; sacode o deserto de Cades. 

9 A voz do SENHOR apressa as gazelas, que estão para ter os filhos, e deixa nuas as florestas. No seu templo todos cantam: “Glória!” 

10 No dilúvio, o SENHOR mostrou o seu poder; ele domina sobre tudo e todos, para sempre. 

11 O SENHOR dará força ao seu povo; ele o abençoará com a paz.

Ascribe to the Lord Glory

A Psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (1 Cr 16:28; 1 Cr 16:29; Sl 68:34; Sl 96:7; Sl 96:8) 

2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Ex 28:2; 1 Cr 16:29; Sl 110:3) 

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters. (Jó 37:4; Jó 37:5; Sl 18:11) 

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Sl 68:33) 

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. (Jz 9:15; Sl 104:16) 

6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. (Nm 23:22; Dt 3:9; Sl 114:4; Sl 114:6) 

7 The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. 

8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. (Nm 13:26) 

9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!” (Jó 39:1) 

10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. (Gn 6:17; Sl 10:16) 

11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace! (Sl 68:35; Is 40:29; Fp 4:7)
