Louvem-no todos os que o servem.2Louvem-no, vocês que estão presentes no templo do SENHOR, nos átrios do templo do nosso Deus.3Louvem o SENHOR, porque é infinitamente bom. Cantem louvores ao poder do seu nome maravilhoso.4Porque o SENHOR escolheu o povo de Jacob e Israel para serem a sua propriedade preciosa.5Eu sei que o SENHOR é grande, muito superior ao que os homens consideram deuses.6Tudo o que quis, o SENHOR fez, tanto nos céus como na Terra, como nos mares e até nas maiores profundidades.7É ele quem faz as águas condensarem em nevoeiros, das partes mais diversas da Terra; faz os relâmpagos que trazem a chuva; faz surgir os ventos dos seus reservatórios.8Foi também ele quem tirou a vida ao filho mais velho das famílias do Egito, e até aos próprios animais;9quem realizou grandes milagres e maravilhas, contra Faraó e os seus súbditos, nessa terra.10Abateu muitas nações e aniquilou poderosos reis;11Siom, rei dos amorreus, e Ogue, rei de Basã, e todos os reis de Canaã.12E deu a terra deles a Israel, seu povo, para que a possuísse.13A força do teu nome permanecerá para sempre, SENHOR; a tua fama será conhecida por todas as gerações.14O SENHOR defenderá o seu povo e terá compaixão dos que o servem.15Os ídolos que os povos pagãos adoram não são mais do que meros objetos de prata e de ouro, mandados fazer por seres humanos.16Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não são capazes de ver.17Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; têm boca e nem sequer respiram.18Tornar-se-ão iguais a eles aqueles que os mandam fazer, aqueles que neles confiam!19Ó povo de Israel, louva a grandeza do teu SENHOR! E vocês, os sacerdotes da descendência de Aarão, deem glória ao SENHOR!20Também os sacerdotes levitas louvem o SENHOR! Todos aqueles que o temem e confiam nele, louvem-no!21Bendito seja o SENHOR, Deus de Sião, que está em Jerusalém! Louvem o SENHOR!
