Das Jahr des Schuldenerlasses

1 Am Ende jedes siebten Jahres sollst du einen Schuldenerlass gewähren. 2 Das soll folgendermaßen geschehen: Jeder Gläubiger soll seinem Schuldner die Rückzahlung erlassen. Er soll seinen Nächsten und Bruder nicht zur Bezahlung anhalten, sobald das Erlassjahr Jahwes ausgerufen ist. 3 Einen Ausländer darfst du drängen. Aber was du deinem Bruder geliehen hast, sollst du ihm überlassen. 4 Eigentlich sollte es gar keinen Armen bei dir geben, denn Jahwe wird dich reich segnen in dem Land, das er dir zum Erbbesitz gibt. 5 Doch nur dann, wenn du wirklich auf Jahwe, deinen Gott, hörst, wenn du das Gesetz hältst, das ich dir heute gebe, und danach lebst, 6 wird Jahwe, dein Gott, dich segnen, wie er es versprochen hat. Dann wirst du vielen Völkern leihen, brauchst aber selbst nichts zu borgen, du wirst über viele Völker herrschen, sie aber nicht über dich. 7 Wenn aber in dem Land, das Jahwe, dein Gott, dir gibt, in irgendeiner Ortschaft einer deiner Brüder verarmt, dann sollst du dein Herz nicht hart werden lassen und deine Hand nicht vor ihm verschließen, 8 sondern sie ihm großzügig öffnen und ihm leihen, so viel er braucht. 9 Hüte dich davor, dass dir der böse Gedanke in den Sinn kommt: "Bald kommt ja das siebte Jahr, das Erlassjahr!", und du dann deinen armen Bruder unfreundlich ansiehst und ihm nichts gibst. Wenn er Jahwe gegen dich anruft, würde es dir zur Sünde werden. 10 Gib ihm bereitwillig und sei nicht missmutig, wenn du ihm gibst. Denn dafür wird Jahwe, dein Gott, dich segnen in all deinem Tun und in allem, was du unternimmst. 11 Die Armen werden niemals ganz aus deinem Land verschwinden. Darum befehle ich dir: Unterstütze deinen armen und bedürftigen Bruder in deinem Land!

Die Freilassung von Sklaven

12 Wenn dein Bruder, ein Hebräer oder eine Hebräerin, sich dir verkauft, dann soll er dir sechs Jahre lang dienen. Im siebten Jahr sollst du ihn als frei entlassen. 13 Und wenn du ihn freilässt, sollst du ihn nicht mit leeren Händen ziehen lassen. 14 Von deinen Schafen und Ziegen, deinem Korn und Wein sollst du ihn gut versorgen. Du sollst ihm von all dem abgeben, womit Jahwe, dein Gott, dich gesegnet hat. 15 Denk daran, dass auch du Sklave in Ägypten warst und dass Jahwe, dein Gott, dich befreit hat. Darum gebe ich dir heute dieses Gebot. 16 Wenn dein Sklave aber sagt, dass er nicht von dir weggehen will, weil er dich und deine Familie liebt, weil es ihm gut bei dir geht, 17 dann sollst du eine Ahle durch sein Ohr in die Tür stechen. Dann wird er für immer dein Sklave sein. Auch deine Sklavin sollst du so behandeln. 18 Es soll dir nicht schwerfallen, wenn du ihn freilassen musst. Denn er hat dir sechs Jahre lang doppelt so viel wie ein Tagelöhner eingebracht. Und Jahwe, dein Gott, wird dich segnen in allem, was du tust.

Die Heiligung der Erstgeburt

19 Jede männliche Erstgeburt von deinen Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen sollst du Jahwe, deinem Gott, weihen. Mit dem Erstgeborenen deines Rindes sollst du nicht arbeiten und das Erstgeborene von Schaf oder Ziege nicht scheren. 20 Vor Jahwe, deinem Gott, sollst du sie verzehren, du und deine Familie, und zwar jedes Jahr an dem Ort, den Jahwe auswählen wird. 21 Wenn das Tier jedoch ein Gebrechen hat, dass es lahm oder blind ist oder sonst einen Makel aufweist, darfst du es Jahwe, deinem Gott, nicht opfern. 22 Du kannst es wie eine Gazelle oder einen Hirsch an deinem Ort verzehren, ob du rein oder unrein bist. 23 Nur sein Blut darfst du nicht essen. Du musst es wie Wasser auf die Erde fließen lassen.

1 وَفِي آخِرِ كُلِّ سَنَةٍ سَابِعَةٍ تُبْرِئُ الْمَدْيُونِينَ مِنَ الدُّيُونِ 2 وَهَذَا هُوَ الإِجْرَاءُ: يَقُومُ كُلُّ دَائِنٍ بِإِبْرَاءِ مَدِينِهِ مِمَّا أَقْرَضَهُ، وَلا يُطَالِبُ أَخَاهُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيَّ بِهِ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ نُودِيَ بِوَقْتِ الرَّبِّ لإِلْغَاءِ الدُّيُونِ. 3 أَمَّا الأَجْنَبِيُّ فَتُطَالِبُهُ بِالدَّيْنِ، وَأَمَّا أَخُوكَ فَتُبْرِئُهُ مِنْ دُيُونِهِ. 4 وَلَكِنْ لَنْ يَكُونَ فَقِيرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ سَيُبَارِكُ الأَرْضَ الَّتِي وَرَّثَهَا لَكُمْ مِلْكاً. 5 فَإِنْ سَمِعْتُمْ صَوْتَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَأَطَعْتُمْ، وَعَمِلْتُمْ بِكُلِّ مَا أَنَا أَوْصَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ الْيَوْمَ، 6 فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ يُبَارِكُكُمْ كَمَا وَعَدَ، فَتُقْرِضُونَ أُمَماً كَثِيرَةً وَلا تَقْتَرِضُونَ مِنْ أَحَدٍ، وَتَتَسَلَّطُونَ عَلَى أُمَمٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَلا يَتَسَلَّطُ أَحَدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ. 7 إِنْ وُجِدَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِسْرَائِيلِيٌّ فَقِيرٌ مُقِيمٌ فِي أَيِّ مَدِينَةٍ مِنْ مُدُنِ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي سَيَهَبُهَا لَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ، فَلا تُقَسُّوا قُلُوبَكُمْ وَتَمْتَنِعُوا عَنْ إِعَانَتِهِ، 8 بَلِ اسْخُوا عَلَيْهِ وَأَقْرِضُوهُ مِقْدَارَ مَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ. 9 إِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تُحَدِّثُوا قُلُوبَكُمْ بِخُبْثٍ قَائِلِينَ: هَا قَدْ قَرُبَتِ السَّنَةُ السَّابِعَةُ، سَنَةُ الإِبْرَاءِ مِنَ الدُّيُونِ فَيَسُوءُ الأَمْرُ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ وَتَمْتَنِعُونَ عَنْ إِقْرَاضِهِ. فَإِنْ فَعَلْتُمْ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ يَسْتَغِيثُ بِالرَّبِّ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَتُصْبِحُونَ مُذْنِبِينَ فِي حُكْمِ الرَّبِّ. 10 أَقْرِضُوهُ عَنْ طِيبِ خَاطِرٍ، لأَنَّهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا يُبَارِكُكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ فِي كُلِّ أَعْمَالِكُمْ وَمَا تُنْتِجُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ، 11 فَالأَرْضُ لَنْ تَخْلُوَ أَبَداً مِنَ الْفُقَرَاءِ، لِهَذَا أُوصِيكُمْ أَنْ تَسْخُوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمُ الْمِسْكِينِ وَالْفَقِيرِ الْمُقِيمِ فِي أَرْضِكُمْ.

12 إِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ عِبْرَانِيًّا أَوْ عِبْرَانِيَّةً، وَخَدَمَكَ سِتَّ سَنَوَاتٍ، فَفِي السَّنَةِ السَّابِعَةِ تُطْلِقُهُ حُرّاً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ. 13 لَا تُطْلِقْهُ صِفْرَ الْيَدَيْنِ، 14 بَلْ زَوِّدْهُ مِمَّا بَارَكَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ بِهِ، مِنْ غَنَمٍ وَقَمْحٍ وَزَيْتٍ. 15 وَاذْكُرُوا أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ عَبِيداً فِي دِيَارِ مِصْرَ، فَحَرَّرَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ. لِذَلِكَ أُوصِيكُمْ بِهَذَا الأَمْرِ الْيَوْمَ. 16 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ قَالَ لَكَ الْعَبْدُ: إِنَّنِي لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَتْرُكَكَ لأَنَّهُ قَدْ أَحَبَّكَ وَأَحَبَّ بَيْتَكَ وَتَمَتَّعَ بِالْخَيْرِ عِنْدَكَ، 17 فَخُذْ مِثْقَباً وَاثْقُبْ بِهِ أُذْنَهُ أَمَامَ قُضَاةِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَيُصْبِحَ لَكَ عَبْداً مَدَى حَيَاتِهِ. وَكَذَلِكَ تَفْعَلُ بِأَمَتِكَ. 18 لَا يَصْعُبْ عَلَيْكَ إِطْلاقُهُ حُرّاً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ خَدَمَكَ فِي سِتِّ سَنَوَاتٍ بِمَا يُعَادِلُ ضِعْفَيْ أُجْرَةِ الأَجِيرِ، وَبِذَلِكَ يُبَارِكُكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ فِي كُلِّ مَا تَعْمَلُهُ.

19 خَصِّصْ لِلرَّبِّ كُلَّ بِكْرٍ ذَكَرٍ مِنْ بَقَرِكَ وَمِنْ غَنَمِكَ. لَا تَسْتَخْدِمْ بِكْرَ بَقَرِكَ وَلا تَجُزَّ صُوفَ بِكْرِ غَنَمِكَ، 20 بَلْ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَأْكُلَهُ أَنْتَ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِكَ، كُلَّ سَنَةٍ بِسَنَتِهَا، فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ. 21 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ كَانَ فِي الْبِكْرِ عَيْبٌ مِنْ عَرَجٍ أَوْ عَمىً أَوْ أَيِّ عَيْبٍ، فَلا تَذْبَحْهُ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، 22 بَلْ تَأْكُلُهُ فِي مَدِينَتِكَ، الطَّاهِرُ وَالنَّجِسُ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ، تَأْكُلُونَهُ كَمَا تَأْكُلُونَ الظَّبْيَ وَالأُيَّلَ. 23 أَمَّا دَمُهُ فَاسْكُبُوهُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ.

New International Version

The year for cancelling debts

1 At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts. 2 This is how it is to be done: every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for cancelling debts has been proclaimed. 3 You may require payment from a foreigner, but you must cancel any debt your fellow Israelite owes you. 4 However, there need be no poor people among you, for in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you, 5 if only you fully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today. 6 For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you. 7 If anyone is poor among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hard-hearted or tight-fisted towards them. 8 Rather, be open-handed and freely lend them whatever they need. 9 Be careful not to harbour this wicked thought: ‘The seventh year, the year for cancelling debts, is near,’ so that you do not show ill will towards the needy among your fellow Israelites and give them nothing. They may then appeal to the Lord against you, and you will be found guilty of sin. 10 Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. 11 There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be open-handed towards your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.

Freeing servants

12 If any of your people – Hebrew men or women – sell themselves to you and serve you for six years, in the seventh year you must let them go free. 13 And when you release them, do not send them away empty-handed. 14 Supply them liberally from your flock, your threshing-floor and your winepress. Give to them as the Lord your God has blessed you. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you. That is why I give you this command today. 16 But if your servant says to you, ‘I do not want to leave you,’ because he loves you and your family and is well off with you, 17 then take an awl and push it through his ear lobe into the door, and he will become your servant for life. Do the same for your female servant. 18 Do not consider it a hardship to set your servant free, because their service to you these six years has been worth twice as much as that of a hired hand. And the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

The firstborn animals

19 Set apart for the Lord your God every firstborn male of your herds and flocks. Do not put the firstborn of your oxen to work, and do not shear the firstborn of your sheep. 20 Each year you and your family are to eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose. 21 If an animal has a defect, is lame or blind, or has any serious flaw, you must not sacrifice it to the Lord your God. 22 You are to eat it in your own towns. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it, as if it were gazelle or deer. 23 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.

Освобождение рабов

12 Если твой соплеменник-еврей, мужчина или женщина, продаст себя^[2] тебе и прослужит у тебя шесть лет, то на седьмой год ты должен отпустить его на свободу. (2Mo 21,2) 13 А отпуская на свободу, не отсылай его с пустыми руками. 14 Дай ему долю от своего мелкого рогатого скота, от своего гумна и винного пресса. Дай ему то, чем благословил тебя Вечный, твой Бог. 15 Помни, что ты и сам был рабом в Египте, а Вечный, твой Бог, избавил тебя от рабства. Сделай то же самое и с рабыней. 18 Не считай для себя убытком освободить раба, ведь он прослужил тебе шесть лет за половину стоимости наёмника. А Вечный, твой Бог, благословит тебя во всём, что бы ты ни делал.

О первородном от скота

19 Отделяй для Вечного, своего Бога, всех первородных самцов из стад и отар. Не работай на первородном воле и не стриги первородного барана. 20 Каждый год ты и твоя семья должны есть их в присутствии Вечного, твоего Бога, в месте, которое Он выберет. 21 Если у животного есть изъян, если оно хромое, или слепое, или у него какой-либо другой серьёзный недостаток, то ты не должен приносить его в жертву Вечному, твоему Богу. 22 Ты должен съесть его в своём городе. И ритуально нечистый, и чистый человек может есть его мясо, как если бы это была газель или олень. 23 Но ты не должен есть кровь. Выливай её на землю, как воду.
