1Dann fing Jesus an, ihnen Gleichnisse zu erzählen. Er begann: "Ein Mann legte einen Weinberg an, zog eine Mauer darum, hob eine Grube aus, um den Wein darin zu keltern, und baute einen Wachtturm. Dann verpachtete er den Weinberg an Winzer und reiste ab.2Als die Zeit gekommen war, schickte er einen seiner Arbeiter zu den Pächtern, um seinen Anteil an der Ernte zu erhalten.3Doch die packten den Mann, verprügelten ihn und jagten ihn mit leeren Händen fort.4Da schickte der Besitzer einen zweiten Arbeiter. Dem schlugen sie den Kopf blutig und beschimpften ihn.5Danach schickte er einen dritten; den töteten sie. Ähnlich ging es vielen anderen; die einen wurden verprügelt, die anderen umgebracht.6Schließlich blieb ihm nur noch einer: sein über alles geliebter Sohn. Den schickte er als Letzten zu ihnen, weil er dachte: 'Meinen Sohn werden sie sicher nicht antasten.'7Aber die Winzer sagten zueinander: 'Das ist der Erbe! Los, bringen wir ihn um und behalten das Land für uns!'8So fielen sie über ihn her, töteten ihn und warfen ihn aus dem Weinberg hinaus.9Was wird nun der Weinbergbesitzer tun?", fragte Jesus. "Ich sage euch, er wird kommen, sie alle töten und den Weinberg anderen geben.10Habt ihr denn nie die Stelle in der Schrift gelesen: 'Der Stein, den die Fachleute ‹als unbrauchbar› verworfen haben, ist zum Eckstein geworden;11das hat der Herr getan; es ist ein Wunder für uns.'?"[1] (Ps 118,22)12Daraufhin hätten sie Jesus am liebsten festgenommen, denn es war ihnen klar, dass er sie mit diesem Gleichnis gemeint hatte. Weil sie aber das Volk fürchteten, ließen sie ihn in Ruhe und gingen weg.
Fangfragen
13Später schickten sie einige Pharisäer und einige Anhänger des Herodes zu Jesus. Sie hofften, ihn mit seinen eigenen Worten in eine Falle zu locken.14So legten sie ihm folgende Frage vor: "Rabbi", sagten sie, "wir wissen, dass du aufrichtig bist und nicht nach der Meinung der Leute fragst. Du zeigst uns wirklich, wie man nach Gottes Willen leben soll. Ist es nun richtig, dem Kaiser Steuern zu zahlen, oder nicht? Sollen wir sie ihm geben, oder nicht?"15Jesus durchschaute ihre Heuchelei sofort und sagte: "Warum wollt ihr mir eine Falle stellen? Zeigt mir einen Denar,[2] ich will ihn sehen."16Als sie es taten, fragte er: "Wessen Bild und Name ist darauf?" – "Des Kaisers", erwiderten sie.17"Nun", sagte Jesus, "dann gebt dem Kaiser, was dem Kaiser gehört, und Gott, was Gott gehört." Über diese Antwort waren sie sehr erstaunt.18Dann kamen einige Sadduzäer[3] zu Jesus. Sie lehrten nämlich, dass es keine Auferstehung nach dem Tod gibt. So fragten sie:19"Rabbi, Mose hat uns vorgeschrieben: Wenn ein Mann stirbt und eine Frau hinterlässt, aber keine Kinder, dann soll sein Bruder die Frau heiraten und seinem Bruder Nachkommen verschaffen. (5Mo 25,5)20Nun waren da sieben Brüder. Der älteste von ihnen heiratete und starb kinderlos.21Daraufhin nahm der zweite Bruder die Witwe zur Frau. Doch auch er starb bald und hinterließ keine Kinder. Beim dritten war es ebenso.22Keiner der sieben hinterließ Nachkommen. Zuletzt starb auch die Frau.23Wessen Frau wird sie nun nach der Auferstehung sein? Denn alle waren ja mit ihr verheiratet."24Jesus erwiderte: "Ihr irrt euch, weil ihr weder die Schrift noch die Kraft Gottes kennt.25Denn wenn die Toten auferstehen, heiraten sie nicht mehr, sondern werden wie die Engel im Himmel sein.26Was aber nun die Auferstehung der Toten überhaupt betrifft: Habt ihr nicht bei Mose gelesen, wie Gott am Dornbusch zu ihm sagte: 'Ich bin der Gott Abrahams, der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs.'? (2Mo 3,6)27Das heißt doch: Er ist nicht ein Gott von Toten, sondern von Lebenden! Ihr seid schwer im Irrtum!"28Einer der Gesetzeslehrer hatte ihrem Streitgespräch zugehört und bemerkt, wie treffend Jesus den Sadduzäern geantwortet hatte. Nun trat er näher und fragte ihn: "Rabbi, was ist das wichtigste Gebot von allen?"29"Das wichtigste", erwiderte Jesus, "ist: 'Höre, Israel! Der Herr, unser Gott, ist der alleinige Herr.30Und du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, von ganzem Herzen lieben, mit ganzer Seele und mit allen Möglichkeiten, die du hast!' (5Mo 6,4)31An zweiter Stelle steht: 'Liebe deinen Nächsten wie dich selbst!' Kein anderes Gebot ist wichtiger als diese beiden." (3Mo 19,18)32Da sagte der Gesetzeslehrer: "Rabbi, das hast du sehr gut gesagt. Es ist wirklich so, wie du sagst: Es gibt nur einen einzigen Gott und außer ihm keinen.33Und ihn zu lieben von ganzem Herzen, mit all seinen Gedanken und mit ganzer Kraft und seinen Nächsten zu lieben wie sich selbst, das ist viel mehr wert als alle unsere Opfer."34Als Jesus sah, mit welcher Einsicht der Mann geantwortet hatte, sagte er zu ihm: "Du bist nicht weit weg vom Reich Gottes." Danach wagte niemand mehr, ihm eine Frage zu stellen.35Als Jesus später im Tempel lehrte, stellte er eine Frage an alle: "Wie können die Gesetzeslehrer behaupten, der Messias sei der Sohn Davids?36David selbst hat doch, geleitet vom Heiligen Geist, gesagt: 'Der Herr sprach zu meinem Herrn: Setz dich an meine rechte Seite, bis ich deine Feinde zu einer Fußbank für dich gemacht habe.' (Ps 110,1)37Wenn David ihn also Herr nennt, wie kann er dann gleichzeitig sein Sohn sein?" Die Menge der Menschen hörte ihm gern zu.38Er belehrte sie weiter und sagte: "Hütet euch vor den Gesetzeslehrern! Sie zeigen sich gern in ihren langen Gewändern und erwarten, dass man sie auf den Märkten ehrerbietig grüßt.39In der Synagoge sitzen sie in der vordersten Reihe, und bei Festessen beanspruchen sie die Ehrenplätze.40Gleichzeitig aber verschlingen sie den Besitz schutzloser Witwen und sprechen scheinheilig lange Gebete. – Ein sehr hartes Urteil wird sie erwarten!"
Der Wert einer Spende
41Dann setzte sich Jesus in die Nähe des Opferkastens und sah zu, wie die Leute Geld hineinwarfen. Viele Reiche legten viel ein.42Dann kam eine arme Witwe und steckte ‹zwei kleine Kupfermünzen›, zwei Lepta, hinein. Das entspricht dem Wert von einem Quadrans ‹in römischem Geld›.[4]43Jesus rief seine Jünger herbei und sagte zu ihnen: "Ich versichere euch, diese arme Witwe hat mehr in den Opferkasten gesteckt als alle anderen.44Denn die anderen haben nur etwas von ihrem Überfluss gegeben. Aber diese arme Frau, die nur das Nötigste zum Leben hat, hat alles gegeben, was sie besaß, ihren ganzen Lebensunterhalt."
1Jesus then began to speak to them in parables: ‘A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall round it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place.2At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to collect from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.3But they seized him, beat him and sent him away empty-handed.4Then he sent another servant to them; they struck this man on the head and treated him shamefully.5He sent still another, and that one they killed. He sent many others; some of them they beat, others they killed.6‘He had one left to send, a son, whom he loved. He sent him last of all, saying, “They will respect my son.”7‘But the tenants said to one another, “This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.”8So they took him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.9‘What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.10Haven’t you read this passage of Scripture: ‘ “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;11the Lord has done this, and it is marvellous in our eyes”?’ (Ps 118,22; Ps 118,23)12Then the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd; so they left him and went away.
Paying the poll-tax to Caesar
13Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words.14They came to him and said, ‘Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the poll-tax[1] to Caesar or not?15Should we pay or shouldn’t we?’ But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. ‘Why are you trying to trap me?’ he asked. ‘Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.’16They brought the coin, and he asked them, ‘Whose image is this? And whose inscription?’ ‘Caesar’s,’ they replied.17Then Jesus said to them, ‘Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.’ And they were amazed at him.
Marriage at the resurrection
18Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question.19‘Teacher,’ they said, ‘Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.20Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children.21The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third.22In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too.23At the resurrection[2] whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?’24Jesus replied, ‘Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?25When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.26Now about the dead rising – have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob”? (2Mo 3,6)27He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!’
The greatest commandment
28One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, ‘Of all the commandments, which is the most important?’29‘The most important one,’ answered Jesus, ‘is this: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one.[3]30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (5Mo 6,4; 5Mo 6,5)31The second is this: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” There is no commandment greater than these.’ (3Mo 19,18)32‘Well said, teacher,’ the man replied. ‘You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.33To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbour as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.’34When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, ‘You are not far from the kingdom of God.’ And from then on no-one dared ask him any more questions.
Whose son is the Messiah?
35While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, ‘Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David?36David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: ‘ “The Lord said to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.’ ” (Ps 110,1)37David himself calls him “Lord”. How then can he be his son?’ The large crowd listened to him with delight.
Warning against the teachers of the law
38As he taught, Jesus said, ‘Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted with respect in the market-places,39and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honour at banquets.40They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.’
The widow’s offering
41Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts.42But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few pence.43Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.’

Там Всевышний сказал Мусе: «Я – Бог Ибрахима, Бог Исхака и Бог Якуба»[7]. (2Mo 3,6)27Он Бог не мёртвых, а живых. Вы глубоко заблуждаетесь.
Самое важное повеление
28Один из учителей Таурата, слушая этот спор, заметил, как хорошо ответил Иса, и спросил у Него: – Какое из повелений в Законе самое важное? (Mt 22,34; Lk 10,25)29Иса ответил: – Самое важное повеление – это: «Слушай, Исраил! Ты прав, говоря, что Всевышний один, и нет другого Бога, кроме Него.33Любить Его всем сердцем, всем разумом, всеми силами и любить ближнего, как самого себя, – это важнее, чем все всесожжения и жертвы.34Иса, видя, как разумно ответил учитель Таурата, сказал ему: – Недалеко ты от Царства Всевышнего. С тех пор никто больше не решался задавать Ему вопросы.
Масих – Повелитель Давуда
35Продолжая учить в храме, Иса сказал: – Почему учители Таурата говорят, что Масих – лишь сын Давуда? (Mt 22,41; Lk 20,41)36Ведь сам Давуд сказал под водительством Святого Духа: «Вечный сказал моему Повелителю: сядь по правую руку от Меня, пока Я не повергну всех врагов Твоих к ногам Твоим»[11]. (Ps 109,1)37Сам Давуд называет Масиха Повелителем. Как же в таком случае Он может быть всего лишь его сыном? Большая толпа слушала Ису с радостью.
Предостережение от лицемерия
38А Он учил: – Остерегайтесь учителей Таурата. Они любят наряжаться в длинные одежды и любят, когда их приветствуют в людных местах. (Mt 23,1; Lk 11,43; Lk 20,45)39Они сидят на самых почётных местах в молитвенных домах и на званых обедах.40Они разоряют дома вдов и напоказ долго молятся. Таких ждёт очень суровое наказание.
Щедрое пожертвование бедной вдовы
41Сев напротив сокровищницы храма, Иса смотрел, как люди кладут в неё деньги. Многие богачи бросали помногу. (Lk 21,1)42Но вот подошла бедная вдова и бросила две медные монетки[12].43Иса подозвал учеников и сказал им: – Говорю вам истину, эта бедная вдова положила больше всех, кто клал в сокровищницу,44потому что все давали от своего избытка, а она от своей нищеты положила всё, что у неё было на жизнь.
