1Dann sagte Jahwe zu Noah: „Komm jetzt mit deiner ganzen Familie in die Arche, denn du bist der einzige Gerechte in dieser Generation.2Nimm dir von allen reinen Tieren[1] je sieben Paare mit, ein Männchen und sein Weibchen, von den unreinen aber nur je ein Paar.3Auch von den Vögeln bringe jeweils sieben Männchen und Weibchen mit, sodass jede Art auf der ganzen Erde erhalten bleibt und sich vermehren kann.4In sieben Tagen werde ich einen Regen über die Erde kommen lassen, der 40 Tage lang, Tag und Nacht, andauern wird. So werde ich alles Bestehende, alles, was ich gemacht habe, von der Erdoberfläche wegwischen.“5Noah machte alles genauso, wie Jahwe es ihm befohlen hatte.6Als die Flut über die Erde hereinbrach, war Noah 600 Jahre alt.7Er ging also mit seiner Frau, seinen Söhnen und deren Frauen in die Arche, um sich vor den Wassermassen in Sicherheit zu bringen.8Alle reinen und unreinen Tiere, die Vögel und die Kriechtiere9kamen paarweise in die Arche, jeweils ein Männchen und ein Weibchen, wie Gott es Noah befohlen hatte.10Sieben Tage später kamen die Fluten über die Erde.11Im 600. Lebensjahr Noahs, am 17. Tag des zweiten Monats, brachen alle Quellen der großen Tiefe[2] auf und die Schleusen des Himmels öffneten sich. (1Mo 1,2)12Es regnete in Strömen 40 Tage lang, Tag und Nacht.13An dem von Gott genannten Tag war Noah mit seinen Söhnen Sem, Ham und Jafet, mit seiner Frau und den Frauen seiner Söhne in die Arche gegangen14und mit ihnen alle Arten von Wildtieren und Herdenvieh und Kriechtieren, alle Vogelarten und alles, was sonst noch Flügel hat.15Alle Lebewesen, alle, die Atem in sich hatten, waren paarweise zu Noah in die Arche gekommen.16Es waren immer Männchen und Weibchen zusammen, wie Gott es Noah befohlen hatte. Dann schloss Jahwe hinter ihm zu.1740 Tage lang ergoss sich die Flut über die Erde. Das Wasser stieg und hob die Arche vom Boden ab.18Das Wasser schwoll und wuchs gewaltig über der Erde, und die Arche trieb auf dem Wasser.19Immer höher und höher stieg das Wasser, bis schließlich alle hohen Berge auf der Erde zugedeckt waren.20Mehr als sieben Meter hoch[3] deckte das Wasser die Berge zu.21Da ging alles zugrunde, was auf der Erde lebte und sich regte: Vögel, Herdenvieh und wilde Tiere und alle Menschen.22Alles, was einen Lebenshauch in sich trug und auf dem Festland lebte, ging zugrunde.23So löschte Gott alles aus, was auf dem Erdboden lebte: vom Menschen bis zum Herdenvieh, von den Vögeln bis zu den Kriechtieren. Alle fanden den Tod. Nur Noah und alles, was mit ihm in der Arche war, blieb übrig.24150 Tage lang überflutete das Wasser die Erde.
von Biblica1The Lord then said to Noah, ‘Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.2Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,3and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.4Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.’5And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.6Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.7And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.8Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground,9male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.10And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.11In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month – on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.12And rain fell on the earth for forty days and forty nights.13On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.14They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.15Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.16The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in.17For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.18The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.19They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.20The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[1]21Every living thing that moved on land perished – birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.22Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.23Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.24The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.

И тогда Вечный затворил за ним дверь.17Потоп был на земле сорок дней, и воды, прибывая, подняли ковчег высоко над землёй.18Воды всё прибывали и настолько поднялись, что ковчег поплыл.19Они так высоко поднялись на земле, что покрыли все высокие горы под небом.20Воды поднялись и покрыли все горы почти на семь метров[1].21Всё живое, что двигалось по земле, погибло: птицы, скот, дикие звери, все пресмыкающиеся и все люди.22Всё на суше, в чьих ноздрях было дыхание жизни, умерло;23всякое живое существо на земле было уничтожено: люди и звери, пресмыкающиеся и птицы небесные. Остался только Нух и те, кто были с ним в ковчеге.24Потоп набирал силу на земле сто пятьдесят дней.
