„Beschütze mich, Gott, ich vertraue auf dich!“2Ich sagte zu Jahwe: „Du bist mein Herr! / Du bist mein einziges Glück!“3Ich freue mich an den Heiligen im Land, / denn an denen zeigt sich Gottes Herrlichkeit.4Schwer gestraft sind die, die hinter Götzen her sind. / Für Götzen spende ich niemals Trankopferblut, / und nie kommt ihr Name in meinen Mund.5„Mein Hab und Gut bist du, Jahwe, / und auch meine Zukunft gehört dir!6Ein herrliches Land hast du mir zugeteilt, / einen wunderschönen Besitz!“7Ich lobe Jahwe, der mich beraten hat! / Selbst nachts erinnert mich mein Gewissen daran.8Ich habe ihn mir immer vor Augen gestellt. / Und weil Jahwe mir beisteht, stehe ich fest.9Darum freue ich mich sehr: / Mein Herz ist von Jubel erfüllt. / Auch mein Körper ruht in Sicherheit.10„Denn mein Leben überlässt du nicht dem Totenreich, / dein treuer Diener wird die Verwesung nicht sehen.11Du zeigst mir den Weg, der zum Leben hinführt. / Und wo du bist, hört die Freude nie auf. / Aus deiner Hand kommt ewiges Glück.“[1] (Ac 2:25; Ac 13:35)
1Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.[1]2I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.’3I say of the holy people who are in the land, ‘They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.’4Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips.5Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.6The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.7I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.8I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.9Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,10because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful[2] one see decay.11You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
1Услышь, Вечный, мольбу мою о справедливости; прислушайся к крику моему! Внемли молитве из нелживых уст!2Суди меня Сам, пусть увидят правду глаза Твои.3Ты изучил моё сердце, испытал меня ночью; Ты испытал меня, но не нашёл вины, потому что я не грешу устами моими.4Что же до дел других, то по слову из Твоих уст я себя сохранил от путей притеснителя.5Стопы мои шли по Твоим путям, ноги мои не оступались.6Я взываю к Тебе, Всевышний, ведь Ты мне ответишь; прислушайся ко мне, молитву мою услышь.7Яви мне чудо милости Твоей, Ты, правой рукой Своей спасающий тех, кто ищет у Тебя прибежища от врага.8Береги меня, как зеницу ока; в тени Своих крыльев сохрани меня9от нечестивых, ополчившихся на меня, от смертельных врагов, обступивших меня.10Закрыты для жалости их сердца, и уста их надменное говорят.11Они выслеживали меня, а теперь окружают; высматривают глаза их удобный миг, чтобы на землю меня повергнуть.12Они словно лев голодный, словно лев, что в засаде ждёт.13Вечный, восстань, предстань пред ними, повергни их! Своим мечом избавь меня от нечестивых;14Своею рукою, Вечный, спаси от людей – людей этого мира, чья доля лишь в этой жизни. Пусть наполнится чрево их тем, что Ты для них припас, пусть у детей их излишек останется, пусть внукам своим отдадут оставшееся.15А я в праведности увижу Твоё лицо, пробудившись, буду насыщаться образом Твоим.
