Singt Jahwe ein neues Lied, / sein Lob in der Gemeinschaft seiner Getreuen.2Es freue sich Israel an seinem Schöpfer, / die Kinder Zions an ihrem König.3Seinen Namen sollen sie beim Reigentanz loben / und mit Zither und Tamburin spielen für ihn.4Denn Jahwe hat Gefallen an seinem Volk, / er schmückt die Gebeugten mit Heil.5Seine Treuen sollen sich freuen über diese Herrlichkeit, / in Jubel ausbrechen auf ihren Lagern!6Lob Gottes sei in ihrem Mund / und in ihrer Hand ein zweischneidiges Schwert,7um Vergeltung an den Völkern zu vollziehen, / Gottes Gerichte an den Nationen;8um ihre Könige in Ketten zu legen / und ihre Führer in Eisen,9um an ihnen zu vollstrecken geschriebenes Recht! / Eine Ehre ist das für all seine Getreuen.

(2Mo 15,20; Ps 30,11; Ps 150,3; Ps 150,4)4For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. (Ps 35,27; Ps 147,11; Jes 61,3)5Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Пойте Вечному новую песнь, воздайте Ему хвалу в собрании верных.2Да радуется Исраил своему Создателю, жители Сиона да возликуют о своём Царе.3Да славят имя Его танцами, на бубнах и арфах да играют Ему,4потому что Вечный благоволит к Своему народу и возвеличивает смиренных, спасая их.5Да торжествуют верные Ему в славе и поют на ложах своих.6Да хвалят Всевышнего своими устами, и да будет обоюдоострый меч в их руке,7чтобы совершить мщение над народами, наказание – над племенами,8чтобы заковать их царей в цепи и их вельмож – в железные оковы,9чтобы произвести над ними предначертанный суд. Эта честь принадлежит всем верным Ему. Славьте Вечного!
