1 Ein Lied für den Aufstieg zum Tempel. Aus der Tiefe rief ich dich, Jahwe. 2 Herr, höre mich doch! / Sei bitte nicht taub für mein Flehen! 3 Wenn du die Sünden anrechnest, Jahwe, / wer könnte bestehen, Herr? 4 Doch bei dir ist Vergebung, / damit man Ehrfurcht vor dir hat. 5 Ich hoffe auf Jahwe, / alles in mir hofft. / Und ich warte auf sein Wort. 6 Ich sehne mich nach dem Herrn / mehr als die Wächter nach dem Morgen, / ja, mehr als die Wächter nach dem Morgenlicht. 7 Israel, hoffe auf Jahwe! / Denn bei Jahwe findet sich Gnade / und Befreiung von aller Schuld. 8 Ja, er wird Israel von allen Sünden erlösen.

1 أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِيَّاكَ أَدْعُو مِنَ الأَعْمَاقِ. 2 فَاسْمَعْ يَا رَبُّ صَوْتِي، وَلْتَكُنْ أُذُنَاكَ مُرْهَفَتَيْنِ إِلَى صَوْتِ تَضَرُّعِي. 3 إِنْ كُنْتَ يَا رَبُّ تَتَرَصَّدُ الآثَامَ، فَمَنْ يَسْتَطِيعُ الْوُقُوفَ فِي مَحْضَرِكَ؟ 4 وَلأَنَّكَ مَصْدَرُ الْغُفْرَانِ فَإِنَّ جَمِيعَ النَّاسِ يَهَابُونَكَ. 5 انْتَظَرْتُكَ يَا رَبُّ. نَفْسِي تَنْتَظِرُكَ، وَفِي كَلِمَتِكَ رَجَائِي. 6 نَفْسِي تَنْتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ بِلَهْفَةٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ لَهْفَةِ الْحُرَّاسِ مُتَرَقِّبِي الصُّبْحِ. 7 لِيَتَرَجَّ إِسْرَائِيلُ الرَّبَّ، لأَنَّ مِنْهُ الرَّحْمَةَ وَالْفِدَاءَ الْكَثِيرَ. 8 وَهُوَ يَفْدِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ آثَامِهِ.

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord! (Ps 69,2; Ps 69,14; Ps 120,1; Kla 3,55; Jon 2,2) 2 O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! (2Chr 6,40; Ps 86,6; Ps 140,6) 3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? (Hi 10,14; Ps 76,7; Ps 90,8; Ps 143,2; Am 2,15; Nah 1,6; Mal 3,2; Eph 6,13; Offb 6,17) 4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.
