1Dann führte er mich zum Eingang des Tempels zurück und ich sah, wie unter der Türschwelle Wasser hervorquoll. Es kam an der Südseite des Tempels heraus und floss südlich am Altar vorbei nach Osten ab, denn die Vorderseite des Hauses war nach Osten gerichtet.2Dann führte er mich durch das Nordtor hinaus und ließ mich außen um die Anlage herumgehen zum äußeren Osttor. Auf dessen Südseite rieselte Wasser heraus.3Als der Mann mit der Messschnur in der Hand nach Osten hinausging, maß er 500 Meter ab und ließ mich durch das Wasser hindurchgehen. Es reichte mir bis an die Knöchel.4Dann maß er wieder 500 Meter ab und ließ mich durch das Wasser waten. Es reichte mir bis zu den Knien. Darauf maß er wieder 500 Meter ab und ließ mich durchwaten. Das Wasser ging mir bis an die Hüften.5Als er noch einmal 500 Meter abgemessen hatte, war das Wasser zu einem Fluss geworden, den ich nicht mehr durchwaten konnte. Man hätte schwimmen müssen.6„Hast du das gesehen, Mensch?“, sagte er zu mir und führte mich zum Ufer zurück.7Da sah ich auf beiden Seiten des Flusses sehr viele Bäume stehen.8Er sagte zu mir: „Das Wasser fließt immer weiter nach Osten in die Araba[1] hinunter und ergießt sich ins Tote Meer. Dort wird das salzige Wasser gesund werden.9Überall wohin der Fluss kommt, bringt er Leben. Alle Tiere gedeihen – überhaupt alles, was sich regt. Das Tote Meer wimmelt von Fischen, weil sein Wasser gesund geworden ist.10An seinem Ufer werden Fischer stehen. Von En-Gedi[2] bis En-Eglajim[3] breiten sie ihre Netze zum Trocknen aus. Fische jeder Art wird es dort wieder geben, zahlreich wie im Mittelmeer.11Nur die Sümpfe und Tümpel werden nicht gesund; sie bleiben dem Salz überlassen.12Aber an beiden Ufern des Flusses werden Fruchtbäume wachsen, die das ganze Jahr über grün sind und immer Früchte tragen, jeden Monat frische. Das ist so, weil sie von Wasser getränkt werden, das aus dem Heiligtum fließt. Ihre Früchte dienen als Nahrung und ihre Blätter als Heilmittel.“
Die Grenzen des Landes
13So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: „Das ist die Grenze, innerhalb derer ihr das Land als Grundbesitz an die zwölf Stämme verteilen sollt, wobei Josef zwei Teile[4] erhält.14Jeder einzelne soll darin seinen Erbbesitz erhalten, denn ich habe es euren Vorfahren geschworen: Dieses Land soll euer Erbbesitz sein.15Seine Grenze verläuft im Norden vom Mittelmeer in Richtung Hetlon, bis man nach Zedad kommt,16Hamat, Berota, Sibrajim, das zwischen dem Gebiet von Damaskus und Hamat liegt, Hazar-Enan an der Grenze des Hauran-Gebiets.17Die Grenze läuft also vom Meer nach Hazar-Enan,[5] wobei die Gebiete, die Damaskus und Hamat gehören, nördlich davon bleiben. Das ist die Nordgrenze.18Die Ostgrenze verläuft zwischen dem Hauran-Gebirge und Damaskus hindurch bis zum Jordan, der dann auch die Grenze zwischen Gilead und dem Land Israel bildet. Bis zum östlichen Meer hin sollt ihr sie messen.19Die Südgrenze verläuft von Tamar[6] bis zum Wasser von Meriba bei Kadesch und folgt dann dem Bachtal[7] bis zum großen Meer.20Die Westgrenze ist die Mittelmeerküste bis dorthin, wo man nach Hamat kommt.“
Die Aufteilung des Landes
21„Dieses Land sollt ihr unter die Stämme Israels verteilen.22Ihr sollt es euren Familien als Grundbesitz verlosen und ebenso den Fremden, die unter euch leben und eine Familie gegründet haben. Sie sollen für euch wie Einheimische sein und sich genauso wie die Stämme Israels ihren Erbbesitz erlosen.23Im Gebiet des Stammes, in dem sie leben, sollen sie ihren Anteil an Grundbesitz bekommen, spricht Jahwe, der Herr.“

The water was flowing down from below the south end of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar. (Hes 47,12; Offb 22,2)8And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea;[2] when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.[3] (5Mo 1,1; 5Mo 3,17; 5Mo 4,49; Jos 3,16)9And wherever the river goes,[4] every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea[5] may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.10Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.[6] (Jos 15,12; 1Sam 23,29; Jes 15,8)11But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt.12And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Division of the Land
13Thus says the Lord God: “This is the boundary[7] by which you shall divide the land for inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions. (Jos 17,14; Hes 45,8; Hes 48,1; Hes 48,4; Hes 48,23)14And you shall divide equally what I swore to give to your fathers. This land shall fall to you as your inheritance. (1Mo 12,7; Hes 20,5; Hes 48,29)15“This shall be the boundary of the land: On the north side, from the Great Sea by way of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, and on to Zedad,[8] (4Mo 34,8; Hes 47,10; Hes 48,1)16Berothah, Sibraim (which lies on the border between Damascus and Hamath), as far as Hazer-hatticon, which is on the border of Hauran. (2Sam 8,8; Jes 7,8; Hes 47,15; Hes 48,1)17So the boundary shall run from the sea to Hazar-enan, which is on the northern border of Damascus, with the border of Hamath to the north.[9] This shall be the north side.[10] (Hes 48,1)18“On the east side, the boundary shall run between Hauran and Damascus; along the Jordan between Gilead and the land of Israel; to the eastern sea and as far as Tamar.[11] This shall be the east side. (Jos 13,11; Joe 2,20)19“On the south side, it shall run from Tamar as far as the waters of Meribah-kadesh, from there along the Brook of Egypt[12] to the Great Sea. This shall be the south side. (1Mo 14,7; 4Mo 20,13; 4Mo 34,5; Jos 15,12; 2Chr 20,2)20“On the west side, the Great Sea shall be the boundary to a point opposite Lebo-hamath. This shall be the west side. (Hes 47,15)21“So you shall divide this land among you according to the tribes of Israel. (Hes 47,13)22You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the sojourners who reside among you and have had children among you. They shall be to you as native-born children of Israel. With you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. (2Mo 12,19; 2Mo 12,48; Jes 14,1; Hes 45,1; Hes 48,29; Röm 10,12; Gal 3,28; Eph 3,6; Kol 3,11)23In whatever tribe the sojourner resides, there you shall assign him his inheritance, declares the Lord God.

Там будет обитать великое множество всевозможных видов рыб, как и в Средиземном море[2]. (Hes 48,28)11Но болота и лужи не станут пресными. Они останутся источниками соли.12На обоих берегах реки будут расти плодовые деревья разных видов. Листья на них не будут вянуть, а плоды – падать. Каждый месяц они будут плодоносить, ведь к ним течёт вода из святилища. Их плоды будут пригодны в пищу, а листья будут целебными.
Новые границы страны
13Так говорит Владыка Вечный: – Вот границы, по которым вы разделите землю в наследие двенадцати родам Исраила. Юсуф получит двойную часть.14Разделите её между родами поровну. Так как Я поклялся с поднятой рукой отдать её вашим предкам, эта земля будет вашей.15Вот границы страны: На севере она протянется от Средиземного моря по Хетлонской дороге мимо Лево-Хамата[3] к Цедаду, (Hes 48,1)16Бероте и Сивраиму[4] (он лежит на границе между Дамаском и Хаматом) до самого Хацер-Тихона, что на границе с Хаураном.17Граница протянется от моря к Хацар-Енану, по северной границе Дамаска, с границей Хамата к северу. Такова северная граница.18На востоке граница протянется между Хаураном и Дамаском, по Иордану между Галаадом и землёй Исраила, к Мёртвому морю[5] и до самого Тамара[6]. Такова восточная граница.19На юге она протянется от Тамара до самых вод Меривы-Кадеша, а оттуда по руслу речки на границе Египта к Средиземному морю. Такова южная граница.20На западе Средиземное море будет границей до места напротив Лево-Хамата. Такова западная граница.21– Разделите землю между собой по родам Исраила.22Определите наделы себе и чужеземцам, которые поселились у вас и имеют детей. Относитесь к ним как к уроженцам Исраила: пусть им выделят в наследие наделы среди родов Исраила наравне с вами.23В каком бы роду чужеземец ни поселился, там и дайте ему наследие, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
