Der Untergang von Gog

1 „Du Mensch, weissage Folgendes gegen Gog: So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Pass auf, ich gehe gegen dich vor, Großfürst von Meschech und Tubal. 2 Ich lenke dich herum und führe dich auf deinem Weg. Ich lasse dich vom äußersten Norden her kommen und bringe dich auf die Berge Israels. 3 Dann schlage ich dir den Bogen aus der linken Hand und lasse deiner Rechten die Pfeile entfallen. 4 Auf den Bergen Israels wirst du mit deinem riesigen Heer und allen Hilfsvölkern fallen. Ich werfe dich den Raubvögeln und den wilden Tieren zum Fraß vor. 5 Auf freiem Feld wirst du fallen, denn ich habe es gesagt, spricht Jahwe, der Herr. 6 Und ich lege Feuer an Magog und die Meeresländer, die sich in Sicherheit wiegen. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich Jahwe bin. 7 Meinen heiligen Namen offenbare ich mitten in meinem Volk Israel, und nie mehr lasse ich meinen heiligen Namen entweihen. Die Völker werden erkennen, dass ich, Jahwe, heilig bin in Israel. 8 Passt auf, es kommt und wird geschehen, spricht Jahwe, der Herr. Das ist der Tag, von dem ich gesprochen habe. 9 Dann werden die Einwohner der Städte Israels hinausziehen und die Waffen auflesen: Rund- und Langschilde, Bogen und Pfeile, Handkeulen und Lanzen. Sieben Jahre lang werden sie damit Feuer machen und heizen. 10 Sie brauchen kein Holz mehr auf dem Feld zu sammeln oder im Wald zu schlagen. Sie werden mit den Waffen Feuer machen und so ihre Räuber berauben und ihre Plünderer plündern, spricht Jahwe, der Herr. 11 An jenem Tag weise ich Gog und seiner ganzen lärmenden Menge ein Grab in Israel zu: die Schlucht der Durchreisenden, östlich vom Toten Meer. Das Grab wird jedem, der durchreisen will, den Weg versperren. Und die Stelle wird man nennen: 'Schlucht der lärmenden Menge Gogs'. 12 Sieben Monate wird Israel brauchen, um die Gefallenen zu begraben und das Land zu reinigen. 13 Das ganze Volk im Land wird beim Begraben helfen. Dadurch machen auch sie sich am Tag meiner Verherrlichung einen Namen, spricht Jahwe, der Herr. 14 Und nach Ablauf der sieben Monate werden sie Männer beauftragen, die ständig durch das Land ziehen und alle begraben, die irgendwo im Land verstreut liegen geblieben sind, damit das Land rein wird. 15 Wenn einer von ihnen irgendwo einen Menschenknochen entdeckt, kennzeichnet er die Stelle, damit die Totengräber kommen und ihn in der 'Schlucht der lärmenden Menge Gogs' begraben können. 16 Auch eine Stadt namens Hamona, 'lärmende Menge', wird es geben. So werden sie das Land reinigen.“ 17 „Und du, Mensch“, spricht Jahwe, der Herr, „ruf den Raubvögeln und den wilden Tieren zu: 'Kommt her und versammelt euch, kommt von allen Seiten! Ich lade euch zum großen Opfermahl. Auf den Bergen Israels habe ich es für euch geschlachtet! Fresst Fleisch und trinkt Blut! 18 Fleisch von Helden dürft ihr fressen und Blut von den Fürsten der Erde dürft ihr trinken! Das sind die Schafböcke und Lämmer, die Ziegenböcke und Stiere, das ist das Mastvieh aus Baschan für euch. 19 Fresst euch voll mit Fett und berauscht euch am Blut des Opfers, das ich für euch geschlachtet habe! 20 Sättigt euch an meinem Tisch mit Reit- und Wagenpferden, mit Helden und Kriegern, spricht Jahwe, der Herr.'“

21 „So bringe ich meine Herrlichkeit unter die Völker, und alle Nationen werden sehen, wie ich mein Strafgericht vollstrecke und meine Macht an ihnen beweise. 22 Und die Israeliten werden erkennen, dass ich, Jahwe, ihr Gott bin, und sie werden das in Zukunft nie mehr vergessen. 23 Die anderen Völker werden begreifen, dass mein Volk Israel wegen seiner Schuld in die Verbannung musste. Sie waren mir untreu geworden. Deshalb verbarg ich mein Gesicht vor ihnen und gab sie in die Gewalt ihrer Feinde, sodass sie alle unter dem Schwert fielen. 24 Ich habe sie so behandelt, wie sie es durch ihre Beschmutzung und ihre Vergehen verdienten, und mein Gesicht vor ihnen verborgen. 25 Jetzt aber – sagt Jahwe, der Herr – wende ich Jakobs Geschick. Ich erbarme mich über die Nachkommen Israels und setze mich eifersüchtig für meinen heiligen Namen ein. 26 Nur an ihrer Schande und Untreue gegen mich werden sie noch tragen, wenn sie wieder sicher und ungestört in ihrem Land wohnen werden 27 und ich sie aus den Völkern zurückgebracht, sie aus den Ländern ihrer Feinde eingesammelt und mich vor den Augen vieler Völker als der Heilige erwiesen habe. 28 Sie werden erkennen, dass ich, Jahwe, ihr Gott bin. Ich habe sie zwar unter fremde Völker verschleppt, aber nun habe ich sie wieder in ihrem Land versammelt und keinen von ihnen in der Fremde zurückgelassen. 29 Ich werde mein Gesicht nie mehr vor ihnen verbergen, weil ich meinen Geist über die Israeliten ausgegossen habe, spricht Jahwe, der Herr.“

1 «وَتَنَبَّأْ أَنْتَ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ عَلَى جُوجٍ وَقُلْ: هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: 2 هَا أَنَا أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَيْكَ يَا جُوجُ رَئِيسُ رُوشٍ، مَاشِكَ وَتُوبَالَ، فَأُحَوِّلُ طَرِيقَكَ وَأَقُودُكَ وَأُحْضِرُكَ مِنْ أَقَاصِي الشِّمَالِ وَآتِي بِكَ إِلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، 3 وَأُحَطِّمُ قَوْسَكَ فِي يَدِكَ الْيُسْرَى، وَأُسْقِطُ سِهَامَكَ مِنْ يَدِكَ الْيُمْنَى. 4 فَتَتَهَاوَى أَنْتَ وَجَمِيعُ جُيُوشِكَ وَسَائِرُ حُلَفَائِكَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ عَلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَجْعَلُكَ قُوتاً لِكُلِّ أَصْنَافِ الطُّيُورِ الْجَارِحَةِ وَلِوُحُوشِ الْبَرِّيَّةِ. 5 فَتُصْرَعُ عَلَى وَجْهِ الصَّحْرَاءِ، لأَنِّي قَضَيْتُ» يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ. 6 «وَأَصُبُّ نَاراً عَلَى مَاجُوجَ وَعَلَى حُلَفَائِهِ السَّاكِنِينَ بِأَمَانٍ فِي الأَرْضِ السَّاحِلِيَّةِ، فَيُدْرِكُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ. 7 وَأُعَرِّفُ اسْمِي الْقُدُّوسَ بَيْنَ شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَلا أَعُودُ أَدَعُهُ يَتَدَنَّسُ فَتُدْرِكُ الأُمَمُ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ قُدُّوسُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. 8 هَا إِنَّ الأَمْرَ قَدْ وَقَعَ وَتَمَّ» يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، «هَذَا هُوَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرْتُ بِهِ، 9 فَيَخْرُجُ سُكَّانُ مُدُنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَيُحْرِقُونَ الأَسْلِحَةَ وَالْمَجَانَّ وَالأَتْرَاسَ وَالْقِسِيَّ وَالسِّهَامَ وَالْحِرَابَ وَالرِّمَاحَ، وَيُوْقِدُونَ بِها النَّارَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ. 10 وَلا يَجْمَعُونَ مِنَ الْحَقْلِ قَضِيباً وَلا يَحْتَطِبُونَ مِنَ الْغَابِ، لأَنَّهُمْ يُوْقِدُونَ النَّارَ بِالسِّلاحِ، وَيَنْهَبُونَ نَاهِبِيهِمْ وَيَسْلُبُونَ سَالِبِيهِمْ»، يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ. 11 «وَمِنْ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَجْعَلُ لِجُوجَ مَوْضِعاً يُدْفَنُ فِيهِ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، هُوَ وَادِي الْعَابِرِينَ الْمُتَّجِهُ شَرْقاً نَحْوَ الْبَحْرِ، فَيَسُدُّ الطَّرِيقَ أَمَامَ الْعَابِرِينَ إِذْ هُنَاكَ يَدْفِنُونَ جُوجاً وَسَائِرَ جُيُوشِهِ وَيَدْعُونَ الْمَوْضِعَ ’وَادِي جُمْهُورِ جُوجٍ‘. 12 وَيَقُومُ شَعْبُ إِسْرَائِيلَ بِدَفْنِهِمْ طَوَالَ سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ تَطْهِيراً لِلأَرْضِ. 13 وَيَتَوَلَّى كُلُّ شَعْبِ الأَرْضِ دَفْنَهُمْ، وَيَكُونُ يَوْمُ تَمْجِيدِي يَوْماً مَشْهُوداً لَهُمْ»، يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ. 14 «وَيُخَصِّصُونَ رِجَالاً يَتَجَوَّلُونَ دَائِماً فِي الأَرْضِ لِيَدْفِنُوا مَعَ الْعَابِرِينَ جُثَثَ الْبَاقِينَ عَلَى وَجْهِ الأَرْضِ تَطْهِيراً لَهَا. وَبَعْدَ سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ يَسْتَكْشِفُونَهَا. 15 فَيَجْتَازُ الْعَابِرُونَ فِيهَا، فَإِنْ عَثَرَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى عَظْمِ إِنْسَانٍ يُكَوِّمُ إِلَى جُوَارِهِ عَلامَةً إِلَى أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْعَابِرُونَ لِيَدْفِنُوهُ فِي وَادِي جُمْهُورِ جُوجٍ. 16 وَيَكُونُ اسْمُ الْمَدِينَةِ هَمُونَةَ (أَيْ حَشْداً أَوْ جَمَاعَةً) وَهَكَذَا يُطَهِّرُونَ الأَرْضَ. 17 أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، فَهَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: قُلْ لِكُلِّ أَصْنَافِ الطُّيُورِ وَلِجَمِيعِ وُحُوشِ الْبَرِّيَّةِ اجْتَمِعِي وَتَعَالَيْ، احْتَشِدِي مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ حَوْلَ ذَبِيحَتِي الَّتِي أُعِدُّهَا لَكِ، ذَبِيحَةً عَظِيمَةً أُقِيمُهَا عَلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَتَأْكُلِينَ لَحْماً وَتَشْرَبِينَ دَماً. 18 تَأْكُلِينَ لَحْمَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ وَتَرْتَوِينَ مِنْ دِمَاءِ رُؤَسَاءِ الأَرْضِ وَكَأَنَّهَا كِبَاشٌ وَحُمْلانٌ وَتُيُوسٌ وَعُجُولٌ، كُلُّهَا مِنْ قُطْعَانِ بَاشَانَ السَّمِينَةِ. 19 فَتَأْكُلِينَ شَحْماً حَتَّى الشَّبَعِ، وَتَشْرَبِينَ دَماً حَتَّى السُّكْرِ مِنْ ذَبِيحَتِي الَّتِي أَعْدَدْتُهَا لَكِ. 20 فَتَشْبَعِينَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِي مِنَ الْخَيْلِ وَفُرْسَانِهَا، مِنَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ وَكُلِّ الْمُحَارِبِينَ»، يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ. 21 «وَأَجْعَلُ مَجْدِي يَتَجَلَّى بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ فَتَشْهَدُ دَيْنُونَتِي الَّتِي أَنْزَلْتُهَا بِهِمْ، وَقُدْرَةَ يَدِي الَّتِي مَدَدْتُهَا عَلَيْهِمْ. 22 فَيُدْرِكُ شَعْبُ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ فَصَاعِداً. 23 وَتَعْلَمُ الأُمَمُ أَيْضاً أَنَّ سَبْيَ إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَ عِقَاباً لَهُمْ عَلَى إِثْمِهِمْ، لأَنَّهُمْ خَانُونِي، فَحَجَبْتُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ وَأَسْلَمْتُهُمْ لِيَدِ أَعْدَائِهِمْ، فَسَقَطُوا كُلُّهُمْ بِحَدِّ السَّيْفِ، 24 فَعَامَلْتُهُمْ بِمُقْتَضَى نَجَاسَتِهِمْ وَمَعَاصِيهِمْ، وَحَجَبْتُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ. 25 أَمَّا الآنَ فَهَا أَنَا أَرُدُّ سَبْيَ ذُرِّيَّةِ يَعْقُوبَ وَأَرْحَمُ كُلَّ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَغَارُ عَلَى اسْمِي الْقُدُّوسِ، 26 فَيَنْسَوْنَ عَارَهُمْ وَخِيَانَتَهُمُ الَّتِي ارْتَكَبُوهَا بِحَقِّي بَعْدَ أَنْ أُسْكِنَهُمْ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَا يُفْزِعُهُمْ أَحَدٌ. 27 عِنْدَمَا أَسْتَرِدُّهُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ الشُّعُوبِ وَأَجْمَعُهُمْ مِنْ بُلْدَانِ أَعْدَائِهِمْ وَأَتَقَدَّسُ فِيهِمْ أَمَامَ عُيُونِ الأُمَمِ الْكَثِيرَةِ، 28 فَيُدْرِكُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ، إِذْ نَفَيْتُهُمْ إِلَى الأُمَمِ، ثُمَّ عُدْتُ وَجَمَعْتُهُمْ إِلَى أَرْضِهِمْ، مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ أُبْقِيَ هُنَاكَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً مِنْ بَعْدُ. 29 وَلا أَعُودُ أَحْجُبُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ لأَنِّي أَسْكُبُ رُوحِي عَلَى شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ».

7 “And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. (Jes 45,11; Hes 20,39; Hes 36,23; Hes 39,22)

8 Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord God. That is the day of which I have spoken. (Hes 21,7; Hes 38,17) 9 “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs^[3] and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years, (1Sam 17,40; Ps 46,9; Jes 9,5) 10 so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons. They will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord God. (Jes 33,1; Hes 39,9) 11 “On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. 22 The house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward. (Hes 6,7; Hes 39,28; Joe 2,27) 23 And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. Они начнут поиски через семь месяцев. 15 Люди будут обходить землю, и когда кто-нибудь из них увидит человеческую кость, он будет ставить рядом с ней знак, чтобы могильщики пришли и похоронили её в долине Гамон-Гог. 16 (Там будет и город Гамона.) Так они очистят землю». 17 А тебе, смертный, так говорит Владыка Вечный: Скажи разным птицам и диким зверям: «Собирайтесь отовсюду и отправляйтесь на жертвенный пир, который Я готовлю для вас, на великий жертвенный пир в горах Исраила. Вы будете есть мясо и пить кровь. 18 Вы будете есть мясо могучих ратников и пить кровь правителей земли, словно бы они были баранами и ягнятами, козлами и молодыми быками – упитанной скотиной с плодородной Башанской земли. 19 На жертвенном пире, который Я готовлю для вас, вы досыта наедитесь жира и напьётесь крови. 20 За Моим столом вы насытитесь мясом коней и колесничих, могучих ратников и разных военных людей», – возвещает Владыка Вечный. 21 Я явлю народам Мою славу. Все народы увидят суд, который Я произвёл, и руку, которую Я на них опустил. 22 С этого дня и впредь исраильтяне будут знать, что Я – Вечный, их Бог. 23 Народы узнают, что исраильтяне отправились в плен за грехи, за то, что они были Мне неверны. За это Я скрыл от них лицо, отдал их во власть врагов, и все они пали от меча. 24 Я поступил с ними по их нечистоте и преступлениям; Я скрыл от них Своё лицо. 25 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: – Теперь Я восстановлю потомков Якуба и помилую весь народ Исраила. Я возревную о Моём святом имени. 26 Они смогут забыть о своём позоре и о неверности^[3] Мне, когда будут снова жить в безопасности на своей земле, и никто не будет им угрожать. 27 Вернув их из других народов и возвратив из вражеских стран, Я явлю через них Мою святость на глазах у многих народов. 28 Они узнают, что Я – Вечный, их Бог, потому что, хотя Я и отправил их в плен к чужим народам, Я соберу их в их собственной стране, никого не забыв. 29 Я больше не стану скрывать от них Своё лицо, когда изолью Моего Духа на народ Исраила, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
