Israel auf dem Weg ins verheißene Land

Wie Israel die 40 Jahre in der Wüste verbringt, immer wieder gegen Gott rebelliert und immer wieder von Gott angenommen wird. Die Volks- und Heeresordnung am Sinai

1 Jahwe redete zu Mose. Es geschah in der Wüste Sinai, im Offenbarungszelt. Ein Jahr und ein Monat waren seit dem Auszug aus Ägypten vergangen. Er sagte: 

2 „Ermittelt die Gesamtzahl der Gemeinschaft der Israeliten, geordnet nach ihren Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, alle Männer, 

3 die zwanzig Jahre und älter sind, alle wehrfähigen Israeliten. Mustert sie für ihre Heeresverbände, du und Aaron. 

4 Und von jedem Stamm soll euch ein Mann dabei helfen, der ein Sippenoberhaupt ist. 

5 Folgende Männer sollen euch beistehen: aus dem Stamm Ruben Elizur Ben-Schedëur, 

6 aus dem Stamm Simeon Schelumiël Ben-Zurischaddai, 

7 aus dem Stamm Juda Nachschon Ben-Amminadab, 

8 aus dem Stamm Issachar Netanel Ben-Zuar, 

9 aus dem Stamm Sebulon Eliab Ben-Helon, 

10 aus den Stämmen Josefs für Efraïm Elischama Ben-Ammihud und für Manasse Gamliël Ben-Pedazur, 

11 aus dem Stamm Benjamin Abidan Ben-Gidoni, 

12 aus dem Stamm Dan Ahiëser Ben-Ammischaddai, 

13 aus dem Stamm Ascher Pagiël Ben-Ochran, 

14 aus dem Stamm Gad Eljasaf Ben-Dëuël, 

15 aus dem Stamm Naftali Ahira Ben-Enan.“ 

16 Das waren die Berufenen der Gemeinschaft, die Fürsten der Stämme ihrer Väter, die Häupter der Wehrtruppen Israels. 

17 Mose und Aaron ließen diese namentlich bestimmten Männer zu sich kommen 

18 und riefen die ganze Gemeinschaft am 1. Mai zusammen. Da wurden die Männer in die Geburtsverzeichnisse nach ihren Sippen und Familien eingetragen, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter waren. 

19 So hatte Jahwe es Mose befohlen. Und so musterte er sie in der Wüste Sinai. 

20 Zuerst kamen die Nachkommen Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

21 Vom Stamm Ruben waren es 46.500 Mann. 

22 Dann kamen die Nachkommen Simeons: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

23 Vom Stamm Simeon waren es 59.300 Mann. 

24 Dann die Nachkommen Gads: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

25 Vom Stamm Gad waren es 45.650 Mann. 

26 Die Nachkommen Judas: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

27 Vom Stamm Juda waren es 74.600 Mann. 

28 Die Nachkommen Issachars: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

29 Vom Stamm Issachar waren es 54.400 Mann. 

30 Die Nachkommen Sebulons: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

31 Vom Stamm Sebulon waren es 57.400 Mann. 

32 Von den Söhnen Josefs kamen die Nachkommen Efraïms. Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

33 Vom Stamm Efraïm waren es 40.500 Mann. 

34 Und dann die Nachkommen Manasses: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

35 Vom Stamm Manasse waren es 32.200 Mann. 

36 Dann kamen die Nachkommen Benjamins. Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

37 Vom Stamm Benjamin waren es 35.400 Mann. 

38 Die Nachkommen Dans: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

39 Vom Stamm Dan waren es 62.700 Mann. 

40 Die Nachkommen Aschers: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

41 Vom Stamm Ascher waren es 41.500 Mann. 

42 Die Nachkommen Naftalis: Man ermittelte ihre Geschlechterfolge nach Sippen und Familien, Name für Name, Kopf für Kopf, und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter und wehrfähig waren. 

43 Vom Stamm Naftali waren es 53.400 Mann. 

44 Das waren die von Mose, Aaron und den zwölf Fürsten Israels gemusterten wehrfähigen Israeliten, 

45 und zwar alle, die zwanzig Jahre und älter waren. 

46 Ihre Gesamtzahl betrug 603.550. 

Die Sonderstellung der Leviten

47 Der Stamm Levi wurde nicht mit den anderen Stämmen erfasst. 

48 Jahwe hatte nämlich zu Mose gesagt: 

49 „Nur den Stamm Levi sollst du nicht mit den Israeliten mustern und zählen. 

50 Die Leviten sollst du mit der Sorge für die Wohnung der göttlichen Urkunde beauftragen und für alles, was dazu gehört. Sie sollen für die Wohnung und all ihr Gerät sorgen, sie tragen und sich um die Wohnung herum lagern. 

51 Wenn die Wohnung weiterzieht, sollen die Leviten sie abbauen, und wenn die Wohnung Halt macht, sollen die Leviten sie aufbauen. Jeder Unbefugte, der sich ihr nähert, soll getötet werden. 

52 Die übrigen Israeliten sollen sich bei ihrer Heeresabteilung um ihr Feldzeichen lagern. 

53 Doch die Leviten sollen ihr Lager rings um die Wohnung der göttlichen Urkunde herum aufschlagen, damit nicht mein Zorn über die Menge der Israeliten kommt. Und die Leviten sollen ihren Dienst an der Wohnung verrichten.“ 

54 Die Israeliten machten alles so, wie Jahwe es Mose befohlen hatte.

1 فِي الْيَوْمِ الأَوَّلِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الثَّانِي مِنَ السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ لِخُرُوجِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ، أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى فِي بَرِّيَّةِ سِينَاءَ فِي خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ قَائِلاً: 

2 «أَحْصُوا كُلَّ ذَكَرٍ بِاسْمِهِ مِنْ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ حَسَبَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ. 

3 وَعَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ وَهَرُونَ أَنْ تَحْسِبَهُمْ وَفْقاً لفِرَقِهِمْ مِنِ ابْنِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، مِنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ. 

4 وَلْيَكُنْ مَعَكُمَا مِنْ كُلِّ سِبْطٍ رَجُلٌ يَتَوَلَّى رِيَاسَةَ بَيْتِ آبَائِهِ. 

5 وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ يُشْرِفُونَ مَعَكُمَا عَلَى الإحْصَاءِ: عَنْ سِبْطِ رَأُوبَيْنَ أَلِيصُورُ بْنُ شَدَيْئُورَ. 

6 عَنْ سِبْطِ شِمْعُونَ شَلُومِيئِيلُ بْنُ صُورِيشَدَّايْ. 

7 عَنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا نَحْشُونُ بْنُ عَمِّينَادَابَ. 

8 عَنْ سِبْطِ يَسَّاكَرَ نَثَنَائِيلُ بْنُ صُوغَرَ. 

9 عَنْ سِبْطِ زَبُولُونَ أَلِيآبُ بْنُ حِيلُونَ. 

10 عَنْ سِبْطِ أَفْرَايِمَ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَلِيشَمَعُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ. عَنْ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى بْنِ يُوسُفَ جَمْلِيئِيلُ بْنُ فَدَهْصُورَ. 

11 عَنْ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِينَ أَبِيدَنُ بْنُ جِدْعُونِي. 

12 عَنْ سِبْطِ دَانٍ أَخِيعَزَرُ بْنُ عَمِّيشَدَّايْ. 

13 عَنْ سِبْطِ أَشِيرَ فَجْعِيئِيلُ بْنُ عُكْرَنَ. 

14 عَنْ سِبْطِ جَادٍ أَلِيَاسَافُ بْنُ دَعُوئِيلَ. 

15 عَنْ سِبْطِ نَفْتَالِي أَخِيرَعُ بْنُ عِينَنَ. 

16 هَؤُلاءِ هُمُ الرِّجَالُ الْمُنْتَخَبُونَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الشَّعْبِ، رُؤَسَاءُ أَسْبَاطِهِمْ وَشُيُوخُ عَشَائِرِهِمْ». 

17 فَأَخَذَ مُوسَى وَهَرُونُ هَؤُلاءِ الرِّجَالَ الَّذِينَ تَعَيَّنُوا بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ، 

18 وَجَمَعَا كُلَّ الشَّعْبِ فِي أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ الثَّانِي. فانْتَسَبَ كُلُّ ذَكَرٍ بِاسْمِهِ مِنِ ابْنِ عِشْرِينَ فَمَا فَوْقُ إِلَى سِبْطِهِ حَسَبَ عَشِيرَتِهِ، 

19 كَمَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى. فَأَحْصَاهُمْ فِي صَحْرَاءِ سِينَاءَ. 

20 فَمِنْ نَسْلِ رَأُوبَيْنَ بِكْرِ إِسْرَائِيلَ تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

21 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ رَأُوبَيْنَ سِتَّةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفاً وَخَمسَ مِئَةٍ. 

22 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ شِمْعُونَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

23 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ شِمْعُونَ تِسْعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ أَلْفاً وَثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ. 

24 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ جَادٍ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

25 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ جَادٍ خَمْسَةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفاً وَسِتَّ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ. 

26 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ يَهُوذَا، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

27 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا أَرْبَعَةً وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفاً وَسِتَّ مِئَةٍ. 

28 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ يَسَّاكَرَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

29 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ يَسَّاكَرَ أَرْبَعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ أَلْفاً وَأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ. 

30 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ زَبُولُونَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

31 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ زَبُولُونَ سَبْعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ أَلْفاً وَأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ. 

32 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ أَفْرَايِمَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

33 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ أَفْرَايِمَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفاً وَخَمْسَ مِئَةٍ. 

34 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ مَنَسَّى بْنِ يُوسُفَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنْ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

35 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى اثْنَيْنِ وَثَلاثِينَ أَلْفاً وَمِئَتَيْنِ. 

36 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ بِنْيَامِينَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنْ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

37 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِينَ خَمْسَةً وَثَلاثِينَ أَلْفاً وَأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ. 

38 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ دَانٍ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنْ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

39 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ دَانَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسِتِّينَ أَلْفاً وَسَبْعَ مِئَةٍ. 

40 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ أَشِيرَ، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مِنْ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

41 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ أَشِيرَ وَاحِداً وَأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفاً وَخَمَسَ مِئَةٍ. 

42 وَمِنْ نَسْلِ نَفْتَالِي، تَمَّ إِحْصَاءُ جَمِيعِ الرِّجَالِ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، مَنْ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ، كُلٍّ بِاسْمِهِ، حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، 

43 فَكَانَ عَدَدُ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ سِبْطِ نَفْتَالِي ثَلاثَةً وَخَمْسِينَ أَلْفاً وَأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ. 

44 هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ جُمْلَةُ الَّذِينَ أَحْصَاهُمْ مُوسَى وَهَرُونَ وَرُؤَسَاءُ إِسْرَائِيلَ الاثْنَا عَشَرَ الْمُمَثِّلُونَ لأَسْبَاطِهِمْ. 

45 فَكَانَ الْمَجْمُوعُ الْكُلِّيُّ لِلرِّجَالِ الْمُحْصَيْنَ مِنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَالِغِينَ مِنْ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ مِنَ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ فِي الْحَرْبِ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ 

46 سِتَّ مِئَةِ أَلْفٍ وَثَلاثَةَ آلافٍ وَخَمْسَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ. 

47 أَمَّا اللّاوِيُّونَ الْمُنْتَسِبُونَ لِسِبْطِ آبَائِهِمْ فَلَمْ يُحْصَوْا بَيْنَهُمْ، 

48 إِذْ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: 

49 «أَمَّا سِبْطُ لاوِي فَلا تَحْسِبْهُ وَلا تُحْصِهِ بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، 

50 بَلْ اعْهَدْ بِمَسْكِنِ الشَّهَادَةِ وَأَمْتِعَتِهِ كُلِّهَا وَسَائِرِ مَالَهُ إِلَى اللّاوِيِّينَ. فَهُمْ يَنْقُلُونَ الْمَسْكَنَ وَأَمْتِعَتَهُ كُلَّهَا وَيَعْتَنُونَ بِهِ، وَحَوْلَهُ يُقِيمُونَ. 

51 وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُنْزِلُونَ الْمَسْكَنَ عِنْدَ ارْتِحَالِهِ وَيَنْصِبُونَهُ عِنْدَ حُلُولِهِ، وَأَيُّ وَاحِدٍ آخَرَ غَيْرَهُمْ يَقْتَرِبُ مِنْهُ يُقْتَلُ. 

52 وَلْيَضْرِبْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ خِيَامَهُمْ كُلٌّ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ فِي الْمُخَيَّمِ، وَكُلٌّ تَحْتَ رَايَةِ قَوْمِهِ. 

53 وَأَمَّا اللّاوِيُّونَ فَيُقِيمُونَ حَوْلَ مَسْكَنِ الشَّهَادَةِ، لِئَلّا يَحِلَّ سَخَطُ الرَّبِّ عَلَى شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَليُحَافِظِ اللّاوِيُّونَ عَلَى خِدْمَةِ مَسْكَنِ الشَّهَادَةِ وَشَعَائِرِهِ». 

54 فَنَفَّذَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ تَمَاماً كُلَّ مَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ بِهِ مُوسَى.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, (2Mo 19,1; 2Mo 25,22; 4Mo 10,11) 

2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the people of Israel, by clans, by fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male, head by head. (2Mo 30,12; 2Mo 38,26; 4Mo 1,18; 4Mo 1,20; 4Mo 1,22; 4Mo 3,47; 4Mo 26,2; 2Sam 24,2; 1Chr 21,2; 1Chr 23,3; 1Chr 23,24) 

3 From twenty years old and upward, all in Israel who are able to go to war, you and Aaron shall list them, company by company. (2Mo 12,51; 2Mo 30,14; 4Mo 14,29) 

4 And there shall be with you a man from each tribe, each man being the head of the house of his fathers. 

5 And these are the names of the men who shall assist you. From Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur; (4Mo 7,30) 

6 from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai; (4Mo 7,36) 

7 from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab; (2Mo 6,23) 

8 from Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar; (4Mo 7,18) 

9 from Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon; (4Mo 7,24) 

10 from the sons of Joseph, from Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud, and from Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur; (4Mo 7,48; 4Mo 7,54; 1Chr 7,26) 

11 from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni; (4Mo 7,60) 

12 from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai; (4Mo 7,66) 

13 from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ochran; (4Mo 7,72) 

14 from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel; (4Mo 7,42) 

15 from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.” (4Mo 7,78) 

16 These were the ones chosen from the congregation, the chiefs of their ancestral tribes, the heads of the clans of Israel. (2Mo 18,21; 2Mo 18,25; 4Mo 7,2; 4Mo 26,9; 1Chr 27,16) 

17 Moses and Aaron took these men who had been named, (1Chr 12,31; 1Chr 16,41; 2Chr 28,15; 2Chr 31,19; Esr 8,20) 

18 and on the first day of the second month, they assembled the whole congregation together, who registered themselves by clans, by fathers’ houses, according to the number of names from twenty years old and upward, head by head, 

19 as the Lord commanded Moses. So he listed them in the wilderness of Sinai. 

20 The people of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, head by head, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go to war: (4Mo 2,3) 

21 those listed of the tribe of Reuben were 46,500. (4Mo 26,7) 

22 Of the people of Simeon, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, those of them who were listed, according to the number of names, head by head, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go to war: 

23 those listed of the tribe of Simeon were 59,300. (4Mo 26,14) 

24 Of the people of Gad, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go to war: 

25 those listed of the tribe of Gad were 45,650. (4Mo 26,18) 

26 Of the people of Judah, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

27 those listed of the tribe of Judah were 74,600. (4Mo 26,22; 2Sam 24,9) 

28 Of the people of Issachar, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

29 those listed of the tribe of Issachar were 54,400. (4Mo 26,25) 

30 Of the people of Zebulun, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

31 those listed of the tribe of Zebulun were 57,400. (4Mo 26,27) 

32 Of the people of Joseph, namely, of the people of Ephraim, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

33 those listed of the tribe of Ephraim were 40,500. (4Mo 26,37) 

34 Of the people of Manasseh, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

35 those listed of the tribe of Manasseh were 32,200. (4Mo 26,34) 

36 Of the people of Benjamin, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

37 those listed of the tribe of Benjamin were 35,400. (4Mo 26,41) 

38 Of the people of Dan, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

39 those listed of the tribe of Dan were 62,700. (4Mo 26,43) 

40 Of the people of Asher, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

41 those listed of the tribe of Asher were 41,500. (4Mo 26,47) 

42 Of the people of Naphtali, their generations, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war: 

43 those listed of the tribe of Naphtali were 53,400. (4Mo 26,50) 

44 These are those who were listed, whom Moses and Aaron listed with the help of the chiefs of Israel, twelve men, each representing his fathers’ house. (4Mo 26,64) 

45 So all those listed of the people of Israel, by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, every man able to go to war in Israel— 

46 all those listed were 603,550. (2Mo 12,37; 2Mo 38,26; 4Mo 11,21; 4Mo 26,51) 

Levites Exempted

47 But the Levites were not listed along with them by their ancestral tribe. (4Mo 2,33; 4Mo 26,57; 4Mo 26,62) 

48 For the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 

49 “Only the tribe of Levi you shall not list, and you shall not take a census of them among the people of Israel. 

50 But appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They are to carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it and shall camp around the tabernacle. (2Mo 38,21; 4Mo 3,7; 4Mo 3,23; 4Mo 4,15) 

51 When the tabernacle is to set out, the Levites shall take it down, and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. And if any outsider comes near, he shall be put to death. (4Mo 3,10; 4Mo 3,38; 4Mo 10,17; 4Mo 10,21; 4Mo 18,22; 1Sam 6,19; 2Sam 6,6; 1Chr 13,10) 

52 The people of Israel shall pitch their tents by their companies, each man in his own camp and each man by his own standard. (4Mo 2,2; 4Mo 2,34) 

53 But the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the people of Israel. And the Levites shall keep guard over the tabernacle of the testimony.” (4Mo 3,7; 4Mo 3,38; 4Mo 8,19; 4Mo 8,26; 4Mo 9,19; 4Mo 9,23; 4Mo 16,46; 4Mo 18,3; 4Mo 18,5; 4Mo 31,30; 4Mo 31,47; 1Chr 23,32; 2Chr 13,11) 

54 Thus did the people of Israel; they did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses.

2 – Сделайте перепись исраильского народа по кланам и семьям, перечисляя каждого мужчину по имени, одного за другим. 

3 Исчисли вместе с Харуном всех исраильтян, годных к военной службе, от двадцати лет и старше, по ополчениям. 

4 Пусть от каждого рода вам помогает один человек, который является главой своего семейства. 

5 Вот имена тех, кто будет вам помогать: от Рувима – Элицур, сын Шедеура; 

6 от Шимона – Шелумиил, сын Цуришаддая; 

7 от Иуды – Нахшон, сын Аминадава; 

8 от Иссахара – Нетанил, сын Цуара; 

9 от Завулона – Элиав, сын Хелона; 

10 от сыновей Юсуфа: от Ефраима – Элишама, сын Аммихуда; от Манассы – Гамалиил, сын Педацура; 

11 от Вениамина – Авидан, сын Гидеони;

16 Это те, кто был назначен от общества исраильтян, вожди отцовских родов. Это главы кланов Исраила.

25 В роду Гада их было 45 650. 

26 Из потомков Иуды: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

27 В роду Иуды их было 74 600. 

28 Из потомков Иссахара: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

29 В роду Иссахара их было 54 400. 

30 Из потомков Завулона: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

31 В роду Завулона их было 57 400. 

32 Из сыновей Юсуфа: из потомков Ефраима: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

33 В роду Ефраима их было 40 500. 

34 Из потомков Манассы: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

35 В роду Манассы их было 32 200. 

36 Из потомков Вениамина: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

37 В роду Вениамина их было 35 400. 

38 Из потомков Дана: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

39 В роду Дана их было 62 700. 

40 Из потомков Ашира: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

41 В роду Ашира их было 41 500. 

42 Из потомков Неффалима: все мужчины двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе, были перечислены по именам, по свидетельствам их кланов и семей. 

43 В роду Неффалима их было 53 400. 

44 Это мужчины, исчисленные Мусой, Харуном и двенадцатью вождями Исраила, каждый из которых представлял свою семью. 

45 Все исраильтяне от двадцати лет и старше, годные к военной службе в Исраиле, были исчислены по их семьям. 

46 Всего их было 603 550. 

47 Однако семьи из рода Леви не были исчислены вместе с остальными. 

48 Вечный сказал Мусе: 

49 – Не исчисляй род Леви и не включай их в перепись вместе с остальными исраильтянами. 

50 Поручи левитам шатёр соглашения, всю его утварь и всё, что при нём. Пусть они носят священный шатёр и всю его утварь, пусть заботятся о них и разбивают вокруг шатра свой лагерь. 

51 Когда священный шатёр нужно будет перенести, пусть левиты снимают его, а когда его нужно будет поставить, то пусть и это делают они. Если к шатру приблизится посторонний, он будет предан смерти. 

52 Исраильтяне будут ставить шатры по ополчениям, каждый в своём стане, под своим знаменем. 

53 Но левиты будут ставить шатры вокруг шатра соглашения, чтобы на народ Исраила не пал гнев. Левиты будут нести стражу при шатре соглашения. 

54 Исраильтяне сделали всё точно так, как повелел Мусе Вечный.
