1 Que o SENHOR te responda no tempo da angústia; o nome do Deus de Jacó te proteja! 2 Do santuário te envie auxílio e de Sião te dê apoio. 3 Lembre-se de todas as tuas ofertas e aceite os teus holocaustos[1]. Pausa 4 Conceda-te o desejo do teu coração e leve a efeito todos os teus planos. 5 Saudaremos a tua vitória com gritos de alegria e ergueremos as nossas bandeiras em nome do nosso Deus. Que o SENHOR atenda a todos os teus pedidos! 6 Agora sei que o SENHOR dará vitória ao seu ungido; dos seus santos céus lhe responde com o poder salvador da sua mão direita. 7 Alguns confiam em carros e outros em cavalos, mas nós confiamos no nome do SENHOR, o nosso Deus. 8 Eles vacilam e caem, mas nós nos erguemos e estamos firmes. 9 SENHOR, concede vitória ao rei! Responde-nos[2] quando clamamos!

1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! (Gn 35:3; Sl 59:1; Sl 69:29; Pv 18:10) 2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! (2 Cr 20:8; Sl 73:17; Sl 128:5) 3 May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah (At 10:4) 4 May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! (Sl 21:2) 5 May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions! (Sl 9:14; Sl 60:4; Ct 6:4; Ct 6:10) 6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. (Sl 28:8) 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. (1 Sm 17:45; 2 Cr 32:8; Pv 21:31; Is 31:1; Is 36:9) 8 They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. 9 O LORD, save the king! May he answer us when we call. (Sl 48:2)
