1O SENHOR disse ainda a Moisés:2“Diga o seguinte aos israelitas: Se um homem ou uma mulher fizer um voto especial, um voto de separação para o SENHOR como nazireu,3terá que se abster de vinho e de outras bebidas fermentadas e não poderá beber vinagre feito de vinho ou de outra bebida fermentada. Não poderá beber suco de uva nem comer uvas nem passas.4Enquanto for nazireu, não poderá comer nada que venha da videira, nem mesmo as sementes ou as cascas.5“Durante todo o período de seu voto de separação, nenhuma lâmina será usada em sua cabeça. Até que termine o período de sua separação para o SENHOR ele estará consagrado e deixará crescer o cabelo de sua cabeça.6Durante todo o período de sua separação para o SENHOR, não poderá aproximar-se de um cadáver.7Mesmo que o seu próprio pai ou mãe ou irmã ou irmão morra, ele não poderá tornar-se impuro por causa deles, pois traz sobre a cabeça o símbolo de sua separação para Deus.8Durante todo o período de sua separação, estará consagrado ao SENHOR.9“Se alguém morrer repentinamente perto dele, contaminando assim o cabelo que consagrou, ele terá que rapar a cabeça sete dias depois, dia da sua purificação.10No oitavo dia, trará duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos ao sacerdote, à entrada da Tenda do Encontro.11O sacerdote oferecerá um como oferta pelo pecado e o outro como holocausto[1], para fazer propiciação por ele, pois pecou ao se aproximar de um cadáver. Naquele mesmo dia, o nazireu reconsagrará a sua cabeça.12Ele se dedicará ao SENHOR pelo período de sua separação e trará um cordeiro de um ano de idade como oferta de reparação. Não se contarão os dias anteriores porque ficou contaminado durante a sua separação.13“Este é o ritual do nazireu quando terminar o período de sua separação: ele será trazido à entrada da Tenda do Encontro.14Ali apresentará a sua oferta ao SENHOR: um cordeiro de um ano e sem defeito como holocausto, uma cordeira de um ano e sem defeito como oferta pelo pecado, um carneiro sem defeito como oferta de comunhão[2], (Nm 6:17; Nm 6:18; Nm 7:1)15juntamente com a sua oferta de cereal, com a oferta derramada e com um cesto de pães sem fermento, bolos feitos da melhor farinha amassada com azeite e pães finos untados com azeite.16“O sacerdote os apresentará ao SENHOR e oferecerá o sacrifício pelo pecado e o holocausto.17Apresentará o cesto de pães sem fermento e oferecerá o cordeiro como sacrifício de comunhão ao SENHOR, juntamente com a oferta de cereal e a oferta derramada.18“Em seguida, à entrada da Tenda do Encontro, o nazireu rapará o cabelo que consagrou e o jogará no fogo que está embaixo do sacrifício da oferta de comunhão.19“Depois que o nazireu rapar o cabelo da sua consagração, o sacerdote lhe colocará nas mãos um ombro cozido do carneiro, um bolo e um pão fino tirados do cesto, ambos sem fermento.20O sacerdote os moverá perante o SENHOR como gesto ritual de apresentação; são santos e pertencem ao sacerdote, bem como o peito que foi movido e a coxa. Depois disso o nazireu poderá beber vinho.21“Esse é o ritual do voto de nazireu e da oferta dedicada ao SENHOR de acordo com a sua separação, sem contar qualquer outra coisa que ele possa dedicar. Cumprirá o voto que tiver feito de acordo com o ritual do nazireu”.
A Bênção Sacerdotal
22O SENHOR disse a Moisés:23“Diga a Arão e aos seus filhos: Assim vocês abençoarão os israelitas:24“O SENHOR te abençoe e te guarde;25o SENHOR faça resplandecer o seu rosto sobre ti[3] e te conceda graça;26o SENHOR volte para ti o seu rosto e te dê paz.27“Assim eles invocarão o meu nome sobre os israelitas, e eu os abençoarei”.
1And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,2“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When either a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite,[1] to separate himself to the LORD, (Jz 13:5; At 21:23; Rm 1:1)3he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar made from wine or strong drink and shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried. (Am 2:12; Lc 1:15)4All the days of his separation[2] he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins.5“All the days of his vow of separation, no razor shall touch his head. Until the time is completed for which he separates himself to the LORD, he shall be holy. He shall let the locks of hair of his head grow long. (Jz 13:5; Jz 16:17; 1 Sm 1:11; Ez 44:20; 1 Co 11:14)6“All the days that he separates himself to the LORD he shall not go near a dead body. (Lv 21:11; Nm 19:11; Nm 19:16)7Not even for his father or for his mother, for brother or sister, if they die, shall he make himself unclean, because his separation to God is on his head. (Lv 21:1; Lv 21:2; Lv 21:11)8All the days of his separation he is holy to the LORD.9“And if any man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it. (At 18:18; At 21:24)10On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two pigeons to the priest to the entrance of the tent of meeting, (Lv 5:7; Lv 14:22; Lv 15:14; Lv 15:29)11and the priest shall offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead body. And he shall consecrate his head that same day12and separate himself to the LORD for the days of his separation and bring a male lamb a year old for a guilt offering. But the previous period shall be void, because his separation was defiled. (Lv 5:6)13“And this is the law for the Nazirite, when the time of his separation has been completed: he shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting, (At 21:26)14and he shall bring his gift to the LORD, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering, and one ram without blemish as a peace offering, (Lv 3:6; Lv 4:32)15and a basket of unleavened bread, loaves of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers smeared with oil, and their grain offering and their drink offerings. (Ex 29:2; Ex 29:41; Lv 2:4; Nm 15:5; Nm 15:7; Nm 15:10)16And the priest shall bring them before the LORD and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering, (Nm 6:14)17and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest shall offer also its grain offering and its drink offering.18And the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the entrance of the tent of meeting and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire that is under the sacrifice of the peace offering. (At 18:18; At 21:24)19And the priest shall take the shoulder of the ram, when it is boiled, and one unleavened loaf out of the basket and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaved the hair of his consecration, (Ex 29:23; Ex 29:24; 1 Sm 2:15)20and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. They are a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed. And after that the Nazirite may drink wine. (Ex 29:27; Ex 29:28; Nm 5:25)21“This is the law of the Nazirite. But if he vows an offering to the LORD above his Nazirite vow, as he can afford, in exact accordance with the vow that he takes, then he shall do in addition to the law of the Nazirite.”
Aaron’s Blessing
22The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,23“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, (Lv 9:22; Dt 21:5; 1 Cr 23:13)24The LORD bless you and keep you; (Sl 121:3; Sl 134:3)25the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; (Sl 31:16; Sl 67:1; Sl 80:3; Sl 80:7; Sl 80:19; Sl 119:135; Dn 9:17)26the LORD lift up his countenance[3] upon you and give you peace. (Sl 4:6)27“So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.” (Dt 28:10; 2 Cr 7:14; Dn 9:18; Dn 9:19)
