1 Te damos gracias, oh Dios, te damos gracias e invocamos tu nombre; ¡todos hablan de tus obras portentosas! 

2 Tú dices: «Cuando yo lo decida, juzgaré con justicia. 

3 Cuando se estremece la tierra con todos sus habitantes, soy yo quien afirma sus columnas». Selah 

4 «No seáis altaneros», digo a los altivos; «No seáis soberbios», ordeno a los impíos; 

5 «No hagáis gala de soberbia contra el cielo, ni habléis con aires de suficiencia». 

6 La exaltación no viene del oriente, ni del occidente ni del sur, 

7 sino que es Dios el que juzga: a unos humilla y a otros exalta. 

8 En la mano del SEÑOR hay una copa de espumante vino mezclado con especias; cuando él lo derrame, todos los impíos de la tierra habrán de beberlo hasta las heces. 

9 Yo hablaré de esto siempre; cantaré salmos al Dios de Jacob. 

10 Aniquilaré la altivez de todos los impíos, y exaltaré el poder de los justos.

God Will Judge with Equity

1 To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. (Sal 50:1; Sal 57:1; Sal 145:18) 

2 “At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity. (Sal 17:2; Sal 102:13; Dn 8:19; Hab 2:3) 

3 When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. (1 S 2:8; Is 24:19) 

4 I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; (Sal 75:10; Zac 1:21) 

5 do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’” 

6 For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, (Sal 3:3) 

7 but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. (1 S 2:7; Sal 50:6; Dn 2:21) 

8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. (Job 21:20; Sal 11:6; Sal 73:10; Pr 23:30) 

9 But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 

10 All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. (1 S 2:1; Sal 75:4; Sal 89:17; Sal 112:9; Jer 48:25)
