Salmo 62

Salmo 62

English Standard Version

de Crossway
1 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. (Sal 33:20; Sal 37:7) 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. (Sal 9:9; Sal 10:6; Sal 18:2) 3 How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? (Is 30:13) 4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah (Job 13:11; Sal 28:3) 5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. (Sal 1:1) 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. (Sal 2:1) 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. (Sal 3:8; Sal 14:6) 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Sal 7:1; Sal 37:3; Sal 42:4) 9 Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. (Sal 39:5; Sal 116:11; Is 40:17) 10 Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. (Sal 49:6; Pr 1:10; Lc 12:15) 11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, (Job 33:14; Job 40:5; Sal 59:9; Sal 59:17; Ap 19:1) 12 and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work. (Job 34:11; Sal 86:5; Sal 86:15; Sal 103:8; Dn 9:9)
