Salmo 103

Salmo 103

English Standard Version

de Crossway

Bless the Lord, O My Soul

1 Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! (Sal 103:22; Sal 104:1) 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, (Dt 6:12; Dt 8:11; Sal 103:1) 3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, (Ex 15:26; Ex 34:7; Sal 107:20; Sal 147:3; Is 33:24; Mt 8:17; Mt 9:2; Mr 2:5; Lc 7:47) 4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, (Sal 5:12; Sal 56:13) 5 who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Sal 107:9; Is 40:31) 6 The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. (Sal 146:7) 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. (Ex 33:13; Ex 34:10; Sal 25:4; Sal 78:11) 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. (Sal 86:15) 9 He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. (Sal 30:5; Is 57:16; Jer 3:5; Jer 3:12; Miq 7:18) 10 He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. (Esd 9:13) 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; (Sal 36:5; Sal 103:13; Sal 103:17; Sal 117:2; Lc 1:50) 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. (Is 38:17; Is 43:25; Miq 7:19) 13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. (Sal 103:11; Mal 3:17) 14 For he knows our frame;[1] he remembers that we are dust. (Sal 78:39) 15 As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; (Job 14:2; Sal 90:5) 16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. (Job 7:10; Sal 37:36; Is 40:7) 17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, (Ex 20:5; Sal 25:6; Sal 103:11) 18 to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. (Dt 7:9; Sal 19:8) 19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. (Sal 11:4; Sal 47:2; Sal 93:2; Dn 4:17) 20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word! (Sal 78:25; Sal 148:2; Mt 6:10; Lc 2:13) 21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will! (Gn 32:2; Jos 5:14; 1 R 22:19; Sal 104:4; Dn 7:10; Heb 1:14) 22 Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul! (Sal 103:1; Sal 145:10)
