1Когда Авраму было девяносто девять лет, Господь явился ему и сказал: – Я – Бог Всемогущий[1]; ходи передо Мной и будь непорочен.2Я заключу Мой завет между Мной и тобой и дам тебе многочисленное потомство[2].3Аврам пал ниц, и Бог сказал ему:4– С Моей стороны, вот Мой завет с тобой. Ты будешь отцом многих народов.5Ты больше не будешь называться Аврамом[3]: твое имя будет Авраам[4], потому что Я сделал тебя отцом множества народов.6Я сделаю тебя очень плодовитым; от тебя Я произведу народы, и от тебя произойдут цари.7Я заключу Мой завет между Мной и тобой, и потомками твоими в грядущих поколениях, как вечный завет: Я буду твоим Богом и Богом твоих потомков.8Всю землю Ханаана, где ты сейчас пришелец, Я отдам в вечное владение тебе и твоим потомкам; и Я буду им Богом.9Бог сказал Аврааму: – С твоей стороны, ты должен соблюдать Мой завет, ты и потомки твои после тебя в грядущих поколениях.10Вот Мой завет с тобой и твоими потомками после тебя, который ты должен соблюдать: каждый младенец мужского пола да будет обрезан.11Каждому должно быть сделано обрезание крайней плоти, и это будет знаком завета между Мной и вами.12Каждый ваш младенец мужского пола должен быть обрезан, когда ему исполнится восемь дней: и тот, кто рожден в твоем доме, и тот, кто не из твоего потомства, а куплен за деньги у чужеземца.13И рожденный в твоем доме, и купленный за деньги должен быть обрезан, и Мой завет на вашей плоти будет заветом вечным.14Необрезанный младенец мужского пола, у которого не была обрезана крайняя плоть, будет исторгнут из своего народа: он нарушил завет со Мной.15Еще Бог сказал Аврааму: – Что касается Сары, жены твоей, ты больше не будешь называть ее Сарой[5]: ее имя будет Сарра[6].16Я благословлю ее и дам тебе сына от нее. Я благословлю ее так, что она станет матерью народов; цари народов произойдут от нее.17Авраам пал ниц, рассмеялся и подумал: «Родится ли сын у человека, которому сто лет? 1Cuando Abram tenía noventa y nueve años, el SEÑOR se le apareció y le dijo: ―Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso. Vive en mi presencia y sé intachable.2Así confirmaré mi pacto contigo, y multiplicaré tu descendencia en gran manera.3Al oír que Dios le hablaba, Abram cayó rostro en tierra, y Dios continuó:4―Este es el pacto que establezco contigo: Tú serás el padre de una multitud de naciones.5Ya no te llamarás Abram,[1] sino que de ahora en adelante tu nombre será Abraham,[2] porque te he confirmado como padre de una multitud de naciones.6Te haré tan fecundo que de ti saldrán reyes y naciones.7Estableceré mi pacto contigo y con tu descendencia, como pacto perpetuo, por todas las generaciones. Yo seré tu Dios, y el Dios de tus descendientes.8A ti y a tu descendencia os daré, en posesión perpetua, toda la tierra de Canaán, donde ahora andas peregrinando. Y yo seré su Dios.9Dios también le dijo a Abraham: ―Cumple con mi pacto, tú y toda tu descendencia, por todas las generaciones.10Y este es el pacto que establezco contigo y con tu descendencia, y que todos deberéis cumplir: Todos los varones entre vosotros deberán ser circuncidados.11Circuncidarán la carne de su prepucio, y esa será la señal del pacto entre nosotros.12Todos los varones de cada generación deberán ser circuncidados a los ocho días de nacidos, tanto los niños nacidos en casa como los que hayan sido comprados por dinero a un extranjero y que, por lo tanto, no sean de vuestra estirpe.13Todos sin excepción, tanto el nacido en casa como el que haya sido comprado por dinero, deberán ser circuncidados. De esta manera mi pacto quedará como una marca indeleble en vuestra carne, como un pacto perpetuo.14Pero el varón incircunciso, al que no se le haya cortado la carne del prepucio, será eliminado de su pueblo por quebrantar mi pacto.15También le dijo Dios a Abraham: ―A Saray, tu esposa, ya no la llamarás Saray, sino que su nombre será Sara.[3]16Yo la bendeciré, y por medio de ella te daré un hijo. Tanto la bendeciré que será madre de naciones, y de ella surgirán reyes de pueblos.17Entonces Abraham inclinó el rostro hasta el suelo y se rio de pensar: «¿Acaso puede un hombre tener un hijo a los cien años, y ser madre Sara a los noventa?»18Por eso le dijo a Dios: ―¡Concédele a Ismael vivir bajo tu bendición!19A lo que Dios contestó: ―¡Pero es Sara, tu esposa, la que te dará un hijo, al que llamarás Isaac![4] Yo estableceré mi pacto con él y con sus descendientes, como pacto perpetuo.20En cuanto a Ismael, ya te he escuchado. Yo lo bendeciré, lo haré fecundo y le daré una descendencia numerosa. Él será el padre de doce príncipes. Haré de él una nación muy grande.21Pero mi pacto lo estableceré con Isaac, el hijo que te dará Sara de aquí a un año, por estos días.22Cuando Dios terminó de hablar con Abraham, se retiró de su presencia.23Ese mismo día Abraham tomó a su hijo Ismael, a los criados nacidos en su casa, a los que había comprado con su dinero y a todos los otros varones que había en su casa, y los circuncidó, tal como Dios se lo había mandado.24Abraham tenía noventa y nueve años cuando fue circuncidado,25mientras que su hijo Ismael tenía trece.26Así que ambos fueron circuncidados el mismo día27junto con todos los varones de su casa, tanto los nacidos en ella como los comprados a extranjeros.

Isaac’s Birth Promised
15And God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah[4] shall be her name.16I will bless her, and moreover, I will give[5] you a son by her. I will bless her, and she shall become nations; kings of peoples shall come from her.” (Быт 18:10; Быт 35:11)17Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, “Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? (Быт 35:13)23Then Abraham took Ishmael his son and all those born in his house or bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house, and he circumcised the flesh of their foreskins that very day, as God had said to him.24Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.25And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.26That very day Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised.27And all the men of his house, those born in the house and those bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.
