To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.
1For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. (Пс 33:20; Пс 37:7)2He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. (Пс 9:9; Пс 10:6; Пс 18:2)3How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? (Ис 30:13)4They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah (Иов 13:11; Пс 28:3)5For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. (Пс 1:1)6He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. (Пс 2:1)7On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. (Пс 3:8; Пс 14:6)8Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Пс 7:1; Пс 37:3; Пс 42:4)9Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. (Пс 39:5; Пс 116:11; Ис 40:17)10Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. (Пс 49:6; Прит 1:10; Лк 12:15)11Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, (Иов 33:14; Иов 40:5; Пс 59:9; Пс 59:17; Откр 19:1)12and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.
