1 Дирижеру хора. На струнных инструментах. Псалом Давида. 2 Боже, услышь мой крик, внемли молитве моей! 3 С края земли я к Тебе взываю; сердце мое в унынии. Возведи меня на скалу, которая мне недоступна, 4 ведь Ты – прибежище мое, крепкая башня от врага. 5 Да живу я вечно в жилище Твоем и под кровом крыльев Твоих покоюсь. Пауза 6 Ты услышал, Боже, мои обеты; Ты дал мне наследие тех, кто боится Твоего имени. 7 Умножь дни жизни царя, продли его годы из поколения в поколение. 8 Да восседает он вечно перед Богом; сохрани его Своей милостью и истиной. 9 И буду я Твое имя воспевать всегда, день за днем исполняя мои обеты.

1 To the choirmaster: according to Shushan Eduth. A Miktam[1] of David; for instruction; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return struck down twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. O God, you have rejected us, broken our defenses; you have been angry; oh, restore us. (Втор 31:19; 2Цар 5:20; 2Цар 8:3; 2Цар 8:13; 2Цар 10:16; 1Пар 18:3; 1Пар 18:12; Пс 16:1; Пс 44:9; Пс 60:10; Пс 80:1; Пс 80:3) 2 You have made the land to quake; you have torn it open; repair its breaches, for it totters. (2Пар 7:14) 3 You have made your people see hard things; you have given us wine to drink that made us stagger.
