1 Дирижеру хора. На струнных инструментах. Псалом Давида. 

2 Боже, услышь мой крик, внемли молитве моей! 

3 С края земли я к Тебе взываю; сердце мое в унынии. Возведи меня на скалу, которая мне недоступна, 

4 ведь Ты – прибежище мое, крепкая башня от врага. 

5 Да живу я вечно в жилище Твоем и под кровом крыльев Твоих покоюсь. Пауза 

6 Ты услышал, Боже, мои обеты; Ты дал мне наследие тех, кто боится Твоего имени. 

7 Умножь дни жизни царя, продли его годы из поколения в поколение. 

8 Да восседает он вечно перед Богом; сохрани его Своей милостью и истиной. 

9 И буду я Твое имя воспевать всегда, день за днем исполняя мои обеты.

He Will Tread Down Our Foes

To the choirmaster: according to Shushan Eduth. A Miktam of David; for instruction; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return struck down twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.

1 O God, you have rejected us, broken our defenses; you have been angry; oh, restore us. (2Цар 5:20; Пс 44:9; Пс 60:10; Пс 80:3) 

2 You have made the land to quake; you have torn it open; repair its breaches, for it totters. (2Пар 7:14) 

3 You have made your people see hard things; you have given us wine to drink that made us stagger. (Иов 21:20; Пс 71:20; Ис 51:17; Ис 51:22) 

4 You have set up a banner for those who fear you, that they may flee to it from the bow. Selah (Пс 20:5; Прит 22:21; Ис 5:26; Ис 11:12; Ис 13:2) 

5 That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer us! (Втор 33:12; Пс 108:6; Иер 11:15)
