1– Но ныне слушай, Иаков, слуга Мой, Израиль, которого Я избрал.2Так говорит Господь – создавший тебя, сотворивший тебя во чреве, Который тебе поможет: Не бойся, Иаков, слуга Мой, Ешурун[1], которого Я избрал.3Как Я изолью воду на жаждущую землю и потоки на почву сухую, так Я изолью Моего Духа на твое семя и благословение Мое на твое потомство.4Они будут расти, как трава на лугу, как ивы при потоках вод.5Скажет один: «Я Господу принадлежу», а другой наречется именем Иаков; иной даже на руке напишет: «Господень» – и примет имя Израиль.6Так говорит Господь, Царь Израиля и Искупитель его, Господь Сил: – Я – первый, и Я – последний; кроме Меня нет Бога.7И кто Мне подобен? Пусть он даст знать об этом. Пусть возвестит и изложит Мне все по порядку, что произошло с тех пор, как я создал Мой древний народ, и что произойдет в будущем – пусть он предскажет грядущее.8Не дрожите, не бойтесь! Разве Я издревле не возвещал и не предсказывал вам все? Вы – Мои свидетели. Разве кроме Меня есть Бог? Нет другой скалы, ни одной не знаю.
Глупость идолопоклонства
9Все, кто делает идолов, – ничтожества, и вещи, которыми они дорожат, не приносят никакой пользы. Их свидетели не видят и не понимают, поэтому они будут опозорены.10Кто там делает бога и отливает идола, который не может принести никакой пользы?11Все его приверженцы непременно будут опозорены; ремесленники – всего лишь люди. Пусть все они соберутся и встанут; они ужаснутся и будут опозорены.12Кузнец берет орудие и работает на углях, обрабатывает болванку молотами и кует его силой своих мышц. Кузнец становится голоден, и силы его покидают, он не пьет воду и изнемогает.13Плотник измеряет меркой и размечает острым орудием, он обтесывает его резцами и закругляет его. Он делает его по образу человека, с человеческой красотой, чтобы поставить в капище.14Он рубит себе кедры или выбирает кипарис или дуб и позволяет ему расти среди деревьев леса; он сажает кедр, а дождь питает его.15Потом это идет на топливо. Часть его он берет и обогревается; он разжигает огонь и печет хлеб. А из другой части он делает бога и поклоняется ему, делает идола и простирается перед ним.16Половину дерева он сжигает и готовит на нем пищу, жарит мясо и наедается досыта. Он греется и говорит: «Я согрелся, почувствовал огонь».17А из того, что осталось, он делает бога, своего идола; он простирается перед ним и поклоняется ему. Он молится ему и говорит: «Спаси меня, ведь ты мой бог!»18Они ничего не знают и ничего не понимают; их глаза закрыты, как и их умы, и поэтому они не могут понять.19Никто не задумывается, нет ни знания, ни понимания, чтобы сказать: «Половину этого я сжег, испек на углях лепешки, зажарил мясо и поел. Стану ли я делать из остатка омерзительную вещь? Стану ли поклоняться куску дерева?»20Он словно гоняется за пылью, обманутый разум сбил его с пути; он не может спасти себя или сказать: «Разве то, что в моей правой руке, не ложь?»21– Помни об этом, Иаков, ведь ты Мой слуга, Израиль, Я создал тебя, ты – Мой слуга; не забуду тебя, Израиль.22Я развею твои беззакония, как тучу, грехи твои – как утренний туман. Возвратись ко Мне, ведь Я тебя искупил.23Пойте от радости, небеса, ведь Господь совершил это; восклицайте, земные глубины! Запевайте песню, горы, и лес, и все ваши деревья в лесу! Ведь Господь искупил Иакова и прославится в Израиле.
Иерусалим заселится вновь
24Так говорит Господь, твой Искупитель, сотворивший тебя во чреве: – Я – Господь, сотворивший все, один распростерший небеса и Сам расстеливший землю;25Тот, Кто знамения лжепророков превращает в ничто и гадателей оставляет в дураках, низлагает знание мудрых и обращает его в нелепость;26Кто подтверждает слова Своих слуг и исполняет предсказания Своих вестников; Кто говорит об Иерусалиме: «Он будет заселен», о городах Иудеи: «Они будут отстроены, и развалины их Я восстановлю»;27Кто говорит водной бездне: «Высохни – Я иссушу твои реки»;28Кто говорит о Кире: «Он – Мой пастух и исполнит, что Мне угодно; он скажет об Иерусалиме: „Он будет отстроен“ – и о храме: „Заложены будут твои основания“».
1“But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Besides Me There Is No God
6Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god. (Ис 41:4; Ис 43:14; Ис 48:12; Откр 1:8)7Who is like me? Let him proclaim it.[1] Let him declare and set it before me, since I appointed an ancient people. Let them declare what is to come, and what will happen. (Ис 41:26)8Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? The Folly of Idolatry
9All who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit. Their witnesses neither see nor know, that they may be put to shame. (Ис 41:24; Ис 41:29)10Who fashions a god or casts an idol that is profitable for nothing? (Ис 40:19; Ис 41:6; Ис 46:6; Иер 10:3; Авв 2:18)11Behold, all his companions shall be put to shame, and the craftsmen are only human. Let them all assemble, let them stand forth. They shall be terrified; they shall be put to shame together. (Пс 115:8; Ис 42:17; Ис 45:16)12The ironsmith takes a cutting tool and works it over the coals. He fashions it with hammers and works it with his strong arm. He becomes hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water and is faint. (Ис 44:10)13The carpenter stretches a line; he marks it out with a pencil.[2] He shapes it with planes and marks it with a compass. He shapes it into the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house. (Пс 115:5)14He cuts down cedars, or he chooses a cypress tree or an oak and lets it grow strong among the trees of the forest. He plants a cedar and the rain nourishes it. (Ис 40:20)15Then it becomes fuel for a man. He takes a part of it and warms himself; he kindles a fire and bakes bread. Also he makes a god and worships it; he makes it an idol and falls down before it.16Half of it he burns in the fire. Over the half he eats meat; he roasts it and is satisfied. Also he warms himself and says, “Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire!”17And the rest of it he makes into a god, his idol, and falls down to it and worships it. He prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!” (Ис 45:20)18They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.19No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say, “Half of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?” (Втор 27:15)20He feeds on ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?” (Иов 13:12; Пс 144:8; Ос 12:1; Рим 1:25)
The Lord Redeems Israel
21Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant; I formed you; you are my servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. (Ис 42:1; Ис 42:19; Ис 49:15)22I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you. (Ис 43:25)23Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and will be glorified[3] in Israel. (Пс 63:9; Пс 69:34; Ис 49:3; Ис 49:13; Ис 55:5; Ис 55:12; Ис 60:9; Иер 51:48; Ос 2:21)24Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, (Ис 42:5; Ис 43:14; Ис 44:2; Ис 45:12)25who frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners, who turns wise men back and makes their knowledge foolish, (Ис 19:3; Ис 19:14)26who confirms the word of his servant and fulfills the counsel of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited,’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built, and I will raise up their ruins’; (2Пар 36:22; Иер 32:15; Иер 32:44)27who says to the deep, ‘Be dry; I will dry up your rivers’; (Ис 11:15; Ис 51:10)28who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and he shall fulfill all my purpose’; saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be built,’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid.’” (2Цар 5:2; 2Пар 36:22; Езд 1:1; Пс 78:72; Ис 45:1; Ис 45:13)
