1Вот, Господь опустошает землю и разоряет ее; Он искажает ее лицо и рассеивает ее обитателей.2Что будет с народом, то и со священником; что со слугой, то и с господином; что со служанкой, то и с госпожой; что с покупателем, то и с продавцом; что с берущим взаймы, то и с заимодавцем; что с должником, то и с ростовщиком.3Земля будет совершенно опустошена и до конца разграблена. Это сказал Господь.4Земля высыхает и увядает, мир угасает и увядает, угасают и правители земли.5Земля осквернена ее жителями; они попирали законы, преступали установления и нарушили вечный завет.6За это землю пожирает проклятие – жители ее несут наказание. За это сожжены жители земли, и людей осталось немного.7Высыхает вино, увядает лоза, все веселые сердцем стонут.8Смолкли веселые бубны, прервался шум ликующих, смолкла веселая арфа.9Не пьют больше с песнями вина; горько хмельное питье для пьющих.10Разрушенный город опустел; все дома заперты – не войти.11На улицах плач – не досталось вина; омрачилась всякая радость, изгнано все веселье земное.12Город оставлен в развалинах, ворота его разбиты вдребезги.13Как при околачивании оливы или после сбора винограда остается лишь немного ягод, так же будет на земле и среди народов.14Они возвышают свои голоса, кричат от радости; с запада возвещают величие Господа.15Итак, славьте Господа на востоке, возносите имя Господа, Бога Израиля, на морских островах.16С краев земли слышим мы песни хвалы: «Слава Праведному!» Но я сказал: – Я пропал! Я пропал! Горе мне! Предатели предают! Предательски предают предатели!17Ужас, яма и западня тебе, житель земли.18Всякий, кто побежит при крике ужаса, упадет в яму, а всякий, кто выберется из ямы, попадет в западню. Отворились небесные окна, дрогнули основания земли.19Земля рушится, земля раскалывается, земля сильно дрожит.20Шатается земля, как пьяная, качается, как хижина на ветру; тяготит ее отступничество – она упадет и уже не встанет.21В тот день Господь накажет воинство небесное на небесах и царей земных на земле.22Они будут собраны вместе, словно узники в темнице подземной; они будут заперты в темнице и наказаны[1] через много дней.23И смутится луна, и устыдится солнце, когда Господь Сил будет царить на горе Сион и в Иерусалиме и перед его старейшинами явит Свою славу.
1Behold, the Lord will empty the earth[1] and make it desolate, and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. (Ис 13:9)2And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the slave, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor. (Ам 6:5)10The wasted city is broken down; every house is shut up so that none can enter. (Ис 23:1; Ис 34:11)11There is an outcry in the streets for lack of wine; all joy has grown dark; the gladness of the earth is banished. (Пс 144:14; Ис 24:7; Иоил 1:5; Иоил 1:12)12Desolation is left in the city; the gates are battered into ruins.13For thus it shall be in the midst of the earth among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, as at the gleaning when the grape harvest is done. (Ис 17:6; Мих 7:1)14They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; over the majesty of the Lord they shout from the west.[2]15Therefore in the east[3] give glory to the Lord; in the coastlands of the sea, give glory to the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. (Ис 45:6)16From the ends of the earth we hear songs of praise, of glory to the Righteous One. But I say, “I waste away, I waste away. Woe is me! For the traitors have betrayed, with betrayal the traitors have betrayed.” (Ис 21:2; Ис 24:14; Ис 26:2; Ис 33:1; Ис 60:21)17Terror and the pit and the snare[4] are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth! (Иов 20:24; Иер 48:43; Ам 5:19)18He who flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble. (Быт 7:11; Пс 18:7; Ис 24:17)19The earth is utterly broken, the earth is split apart, the earth is violently shaken.20The earth staggers like a drunken man; it sways like a hut; its transgression lies heavy upon it, and it falls, and will not rise again. (Ис 19:14; Ис 24:5; Ис 29:9)21On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth.
