1Пророчество о Египте. Вот, Господь восседает на быстром облаке и несется в Египет. Истуканы Египта пред Ним дрожат, и сердца египтян трепещут.2– Я подниму египтян на египтян – брат будет сражаться с братом, друг – с другом, город – с городом, царство – с царством.3Египтяне падут духом, и Я расстрою их замыслы. Они станут вопрошать идолов и духов умерших, вызывателей мертвых и чародеев.4Я предам египтян во власть жестокого господина, и безжалостный царь будет править ими, – возвещает Владыка, Господь Сил.5Воды реки Нила иссохнут[1], пересохнет русло и станет сушей.6Каналы начнут смердеть; реки Египта обмелеют и пересохнут. Выгорят и тростник, и камыш,7и другие растения на берегах Нила. Всякое засеянное поле у Нила засохнет, будет развеяно и исчезнет.8Рыбаки будут стенать, все забрасывающие в Нил крючки заплачут, бросающие в воду сети впадут в уныние.9Обрабатывающие лен придут в отчаяние, ткачи лучших льняных полотен потеряют надежду[2].10Делающие одежду будут удручены, и все работающие за плату падут духом.11Совсем обезумели правители Цоана; мудрые советники фараона подают глупый совет. Как вы скажете фараону: «Я один из мудрецов, настолько мудрый, как древние цари»?12Где теперь твои мудрецы? Пусть покажут тебе, пусть откроют, что Господь Сил замыслил против Египта.13Обезумели правители Цоана, в заблуждении правители Мемфиса[3]; главы Египта сбили его с пути.14Господь излил на них дух замешательства; они совращают Египет во всех его делах: шатается он, как пьяный, ходящий по собственной блевоте.15Ни голова, ни хвост, ни ветвь пальмы, ни тростник[4] ничего для Египта не могут сделать.16В тот день египтяне станут как женщины – задрожат они от страха перед поднятой рукой Господа Сил.17Иудейская земля наведет на египтян ужас. Всякий, при ком упомянут об Иудее, испугается из-за замысла, который вынашивает против них Господь Сил.18В тот день пять египетских городов будут говорить на языке Ханаана[5] и клясться в верности Господу Сил. Один из них будет назван Городом Солнца[6].19В тот день жертвенник Господу будет посередине Египта, и памятный знак Господу – на его границе.20Это будет знамением и свидетельством о Господе Сил в земле Египта. Когда они воззовут к Господу из-за своих притеснителей, Он пошлет им спасителя, который их защитит и избавит.21Так Господь откроется египтянам, и в тот день они познают Господа. Они станут поклоняться, принося жертвы и хлебные приношения; они станут давать Господу обеты и исполнять их.22Господь поразит Египет, поразит их и исцелит. Они обратятся к Господу, и Он ответит на их мольбу и исцелит их.23В тот день будет широкая дорога из Египта в Ассирию. Ассирийцы будут ходить в Египет, а египтяне в Ассирию, и египтяне с ассирийцами будут поклоняться вместе.24В тот день Израиль будет третьим, вместе с Египтом и Ассирией, благословением для земли.25Господь Сил благословит их, сказав: «Благословен Египет – Мой народ, Ассирия – дело Моих рук и Израиль – Мое наследие».
1An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. (Ис 20:4; Иер 46:26; Иез 29:19)5And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched,6and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt’s Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away.7There will be bare places by the Nile, on the brink of the Nile, and all that is sown by the Nile will be parched, will be driven away, and will be no more.8The fishermen will mourn and lament, all who cast a hook in the Nile; and they will languish who spread nets on the water. (Чис 13:22; Пс 78:43; Ис 30:4)12Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you that they might know what the Lord of hosts has purposed against Egypt. (Ис 19:11; Иер 2:16; Иер 44:1; Иер 46:14; Иер 46:19; Иез 30:13; Иез 30:16; Зах 10:4)14The Lord has mingled within her a spirit of confusion, and they will make Egypt stagger in all its deeds, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit. (3Цар 22:22; Ис 24:20; Ис 29:9)15And there will be nothing for Egypt that head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do. (Ис 9:14)
Egypt, Assyria, Israel Blessed
16In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the Lord of hosts shakes over them. (Ис 10:32; Иер 50:37; Иер 51:30; Наум 3:13)17And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians. Everyone to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose that the Lord of hosts has purposed against them.18In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the Lord of hosts. When they cry to the Lord because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them. (Ис 19:19; Авд 1:21)21And the Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the Lord and perform them. (Ис 2:2; Ис 19:25; Зах 14:16)22And the Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them. (Иер 46:25)23In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
