1В начале сотворил Бог небо и землю[1].2Земля была безлика и пуста, тьма была над бездной, и Дух Божий парил над водами[2].3Бог сказал: «Да будет свет», и появился свет.4Бог увидел, что свет хорош, и отделил его от тьмы.5Бог назвал свет днем, а тьму – ночью. 1In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
