Sicurezza nel momento del pericolo

1 Al direttore del coro. Per strumenti a corda. Salmo di Davide. Quando io grido, rispondimi, o Dio della mia giustizia; quando ero in pericolo, tu mi hai liberato; abbi pietà di me ed esaudisci la mia preghiera! 2 O figli degli uomini, fino a quando si farà oltraggio alla mia gloria? Fino a quando amerete vanità e andrete dietro a menzogna? [Pausa] 3 Sappiate che il Signore si è scelto uno che egli ama; il Signore mi esaudirà quando griderò a lui. 4 Tremate e non peccate; sui vostri letti ragionate in cuor vostro e tacete. [Pausa] 5 Offrite sacrifici di giustizia e confidate nel Signore. 6 Molti van dicendo: «Chi ci farà vedere la prosperità?» O Signore, fa’ risplendere su di noi la luce del tuo volto! 7 Tu mi hai messo in cuore più gioia di quella che essi provano quando il loro grano e il loro mosto abbondano. 8 In pace mi coricherò e in pace dormirò, perché tu solo, o Signore, mi fai abitare al sicuro.

Ein Abendgebet

1 Ein Psalm Davids, vorzusingen, beim Saitenspiel. 2 Erhöre mich, wenn ich rufe, Gott meiner Gerechtigkeit, der du mich tröstest in Angst; sei mir gnädig und erhöre mein Gebet! 3 Ihr Herren, wie lange soll meine Ehre geschändet werden? Wie habt ihr das Eitle so lieb und die Lüge so gern! Sela. 4 Erkennet doch, dass der HERR seine Heiligen wunderbar führt; der HERR hört, wenn ich ihn anrufe. 5 Zürnet ihr, so sündiget nicht; redet in eurem Herzen auf eurem Lager und seid stille. Sela. (Ef 4,26) 6 Opfert, was recht ist, und hoffet auf den HERRN. (Sal 51,19; Sal 51,21; 1P 2,5) 7 Viele sagen: »Wer wird uns Gutes sehen lassen?« HERR, lass leuchten über uns das Licht deines Antlitzes! (Nu 6,25) 8 Du erfreust mein Herz mehr als zur Zeit, da es Korn und Wein gibt in Fülle. 9 Ich liege und schlafe ganz mit Frieden; denn allein du, HERR, hilfst mir, dass ich sicher wohne. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Dame alivio cuando esté angustiado, apiádate de mí y escucha mi oración. 2 Y ustedes, señores, ¿hasta cuándo cambiarán mi gloria en vergüenza? ¿Hasta cuándo amarán ídolos vanos e irán en pos de lo ilusorio? Selah 3 Sepan que el Señor honra al que le es fiel; el Señor me escucha cuando lo llamo. 4 Si se enojan, no pequen; en la quietud del descanso nocturno examínense el corazón. Selah 5 Ofrezcan sacrificios de justicia y confíen en el Señor. 6 Muchos son los que dicen: «¿Quién puede mostrarnos algún bien?» ¡Haz, Señor, que sobre nosotros brille la luz de tu rostro! 7 Tú has hecho que mi corazón rebose de alegría, alegría mayor que la que tienen los que disfrutan de trigo y vino en abundancia. 8 En paz me acuesto y me duermo, porque sólo tú, Señor, me haces vivir confiado.
