Fedeltà di Dio verso Israele

1 Celebrate il Signore, invocate il suo nome; fate conoscere i suoi prodigi tra i popoli. 2 Cantate e salmeggiate a lui, meditate su tutte le sue meraviglie. 3 Esultate per il suo santo nome; gioisca il cuore di quanti cercano il Signore! 4 Cercate il Signore e la sua forza, cercate sempre il suo volto! 5 Ricordatevi dei prodigi fatti da lui, dei suoi miracoli e dei giudizi della sua bocca, 6 voi, figli di Abraamo, suo servo, discendenza di Giacobbe, suoi eletti! 7 Egli, il Signore, è il nostro Dio; i suoi giudizi si estendono su tutta la terra. 8 Egli si ricorda per sempre del suo patto, della parola da lui data per mille generazioni, 9 del patto che fece con Abraamo, del giuramento che fece a Isacco, 10 che confermò a Giacobbe come uno statuto, a Israele come un patto eterno, 11 dicendo: «Ti darò il paese di Canaan come vostra eredità». 12 Non erano allora che poca gente, pochissimi e stranieri nel paese, 13 e andavano da una nazione all’altra, da un regno a un altro popolo. 14 Egli non permise che alcuno li opprimesse; per amor loro castigò dei re, 15 dicendo: «Non toccate i miei unti e non fate alcun male ai miei profeti». 16 Poi chiamò la carestia nel paese e fece mancare il pane che li sostentava. 17 Mandò davanti a loro un uomo, Giuseppe, che fu venduto come schiavo. 18 Gli legarono i piedi con ceppi; fu oppresso con catene di ferro. 19 Fino al tempo in cui si avverò quanto aveva predetto, la parola del Signore lo affinò. 20 Il re lo fece slegare, il dominatore di popoli lo liberò; 21 lo stabilì signore della sua casa e governatore di tutti i suoi beni, 22 per istruire i prìncipi secondo il suo giudizio e insegnare ai suoi anziani la sapienza. 23 Allora Israele venne in Egitto e Giacobbe soggiornò nel paese di Cam^[1]. 24 Dio moltiplicò grandemente il suo popolo e lo rese più potente dei suoi avversari. 25 Poi mutò il cuore di questi; essi odiarono il suo popolo e tramarono inganni contro i suoi servi. 26 Egli mandò Mosè, suo servo, e Aaronne, che aveva scelto. 27 Essi operarono in mezzo a loro i miracoli da lui ordinati, fecero dei prodigi nella terra di Cam. 28 Mandò le tenebre e si fece buio, eppure non osservarono le sue parole. 29 Cambiò le acque in sangue e fece morire i loro pesci. 30 La terra brulicò di rane, fin nelle camere dei loro re. 31 Egli parlò, e vennero mosche velenose e zanzare in tutto il loro territorio. 32 Mandò loro grandine invece di pioggia, fiamme di fuoco sul loro paese. 33 Colpì le loro vigne e i loro fichi e spezzò gli alberi del loro territorio. 34 Egli parlò, e vennero cavallette e bruchi innumerevoli, 35 che divorarono tutta l’erba del paese e mangiarono il frutto della loro terra. 36 Poi colpì tutti i primogeniti nel loro paese, le primizie del loro vigore. 37 E fece uscire gli Israeliti con argento e oro, e nessuno vacillò nelle sue tribù. 38 Gli Egiziani si rallegrarono della loro partenza, perché erano presi da terrore a causa loro. 39 Egli distese una nuvola per ripararli e accese un fuoco per illuminarli di notte. 40 A loro richiesta fece venire delle quaglie e li saziò con il pane del cielo. 41 Aprì la roccia e ne scaturirono acque: esse scorrevano come fiume nel deserto. 42 Egli si ricordò della sua santa parola e anche di Abraamo, suo servo. 43 Fece uscire il suo popolo con letizia e i suoi eletti con grida di gioia. 44 Diede loro le terre delle nazioni ed essi ereditarono il frutto della fatica dei popoli, 45 perché osservassero i suoi statuti e ubbidissero alle sue leggi. Lob Gottes für seine Heilstaten in Israels Frühzeit

1 Danket dem HERRN und rufet an seinen Namen; verkündigt sein Tun unter den Völkern! (1Cr 16,8) 2 Singet ihm und spielet ihm, redet von allen seinen Wundern! 3 Rühmet seinen heiligen Namen; es freue sich das Herz derer, die den HERRN suchen! 4 Fraget nach dem HERRN und nach seiner Macht, suchet sein Antlitz allezeit! 5 Gedenket seiner Wunderwerke, die er getan hat, seiner Zeichen und der Urteile seines Mundes, 6 du Geschlecht Abrahams, seines Knechts, ihr Söhne Jakobs, seine Auserwählten! 7 Er ist der HERR, unser Gott, er richtet in aller Welt. 8 Er gedenkt ewiglich an seinen Bund, an das Wort, das er verheißen hat für tausend Geschlechter, (De 7,9) 9 an den Bund, den er geschlossen hat mit Abraham, und an den Eid, den er Isaak geschworen hat. 10 Er stellte ihn auf für Jakob als Satzung und für Israel als ewigen Bund 11 und sprach: »Dir will ich das Land Kanaan geben, das Los eures Erbteils«, (Gen 13,15) 12 als sie gering waren an Zahl, nur wenige und Fremdlinge im Lande. 13 Und sie zogen von Volk zu Volk, von einem Königreich zum andern. 14 Er ließ keinen Menschen ihnen Schaden tun und wies Könige zurecht um ihretwillen: (Nu 23,7) 15 »Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht an, und tut meinen Propheten kein Leid!« 16 Und er rief den Hunger ins Land und nahm weg allen Vorrat an Brot. (Gen 41,54) 17 Er sandte einen Mann vor ihnen hin; Josef wurde als Knecht verkauft. (Gen 37,28) 18 Sie zwangen seine Füße in Fesseln, sein Hals wurde in Eisen gelegt, 19 bis sein Wort eintraf und die Rede des HERRN ihm recht gab. 20 Da sandte der König hin und ließ ihn losbinden, der Herrscher über Völker, er gab ihn frei. (Gen 41,14) 21 Er setzte ihn zum Herrn über sein Haus, zum Herrscher über alle seine Güter, 22 dass er seine Fürsten unterwiese nach seinem Willen und seine Ältesten Weisheit lehrte. 23 Und Israel zog nach Ägypten, Jakob ward ein Fremdling im Lande Hams. (Gen 46,1; Gen 46,7) 24 Und der Herr ließ sein Volk sehr wachsen und machte sie mächtiger als ihre Feinde. (Eso 1,7; Eso 1,12) 25 Diesen verwandelte er das Herz, / dass sie seinem Volk gram wurden und Arglist übten an seinen Knechten. 26 Er sandte seinen Knecht Mose und Aaron, den er erwählt hatte. (Eso 3,10; Eso 4,14) 27 Die taten seine Zeichen unter ihnen und seine Wunder im Lande Hams. (Eso 7,1) 28 Er sandte Finsternis und machte es finster; doch sie blieben ungehorsam seinen Worten. 29 Er verwandelte ihre Wasser in Blut und tötete ihre Fische. 30 Ihr Land wimmelte von Fröschen bis in die Kammern ihrer Könige. 31 Er gebot, da kam Ungeziefer, Stechmücken in all ihr Gebiet. 32 Er gab ihnen Hagel statt Regen, Feuerflammen in ihrem Lande 33 und schlug ihre Weinstöcke und Feigenbäume und zerbrach die Bäume in ihrem Gebiet. 34 Er gebot, da kamen Heuschrecken und Käfer ohne Zahl; 35 sie fraßen alles Gras in ihrem Lande, und fraßen auch die Frucht ihres Ackers. 36 Er schlug alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten, alle Erstlinge ihrer Kraft. 37 Er führte sie heraus mit Silber und Gold; es war kein Gebrechlicher unter ihren Stämmen. (Eso 12,35) 38 Ägypten wurde froh, dass sie auszogen; denn Furcht vor ihnen war auf sie gefallen. 39 Er breitete eine Wolke aus, sie zu decken, und ein Feuer, die Nacht zu erleuchten. (Eso 13,21; Eso 14,20) 40 Sie baten, da ließ er Wachteln kommen, und er sättigte sie mit Himmelsbrot. (Eso 16,13) 41 Er öffnete den Felsen, da strömten Wasser heraus, sie flossen dahin als Strom in der Wüste. (Eso 17,6) 42 Denn er gedachte an sein heiliges Wort und an Abraham, seinen Knecht. 43 So führte er sein Volk in Freuden heraus und seine Auserwählten mit Jubel 44 und gab ihnen die Länder der Völker, dass sie die Güter der Nationen gewannen, 45 damit sie hielten seine Gebote und seine Gesetze bewahrten. 1 Den gracias al Señor, invoquen su nombre; den a conocer sus obras entre las naciones. 2 Cántenle, entónenle salmos; hablen de todas sus maravillas. 3 Siéntanse orgullosos de su santo nombre; alégrese el corazón de los que buscan al Señor. 4 Recurran al Señor y a su fuerza; busquen siempre su rostro. 5 Recuerden las maravillas que ha realizado, sus señales, y los decretos que ha emitido. 6 ¡Ustedes, descendientes de Abraham su siervo! ¡Ustedes, hijos de Jacob, elegidos suyos! 7 Él es el Señor, nuestro Dios; en toda la tierra están sus decretos. 8 Él siempre tiene presente su pacto, la palabra que ordenó para mil generaciones. 9 Es el pacto que hizo con Abraham, el juramento que le hizo a Isaac. 10 Se lo confirmó a Jacob como un decreto, a Israel como un pacto eterno, 11 cuando dijo: «Te daré la tierra de Canaán como la herencia que te toca.» 12 Aun cuando eran pocos en número, unos cuantos extranjeros en la tierra 13 que andaban siempre de nación en nación y de reino en reino, 14 a nadie permitió que los oprimiera, sino que por ellos reprendió a los reyes: 15 «No toquen a mis ungidos; no hagan daño a mis profetas.» 16 Dios provocó hambre en la tierra y destruyó todos sus trigales.^[1] 17 Pero envió delante de ellos a un hombre: a José, vendido como esclavo. 18 Le sujetaron los pies con grilletes, entre hierros le aprisionaron el cuello, 19 hasta que se cumplió lo que él predijo y la palabra del Señor probó que él era veraz. 20 El rey ordenó ponerlo en libertad, el gobernante de los pueblos lo dejó libre. 21 Le dio autoridad sobre toda su casa y lo puso a cargo de cuanto poseía, 22 con pleno poder para instruir^[2] a sus príncipes e impartir sabiduría a sus ancianos. 23 Entonces Israel vino a Egipto; Jacob fue extranjero en el país de Cam. 24 El Señor hizo que su pueblo se multiplicara; lo hizo más numeroso que sus adversarios, 25 a quienes trastornó para que odiaran a su pueblo y se confabularan contra sus siervos. 26 Envió a su siervo Moisés, y a Aarón, a quien había escogido, 27 y éstos hicieron señales milagrosas entre ellos, ¡maravillas en el país de Cam! 28 Envió tinieblas, y la tierra se oscureció, pero ellos no atendieron^[3] a sus palabras. 29 Convirtió en sangre sus aguas y causó la muerte de sus peces. 30 Todo Egipto^[4] se infestó de ranas, ¡hasta las habitaciones de sus reyes! 31 Habló Dios, e invadieron todo el país enjambres de moscas y mosquitos. 32 Convirtió la lluvia en granizo, y lanzó relámpagos sobre su tierra; 33 derribó sus vides y sus higueras, y en todo el país hizo astillas los árboles. 34 Dio una orden, y llegaron las langostas, ¡infinidad de saltamontes! 35 Arrasaron con toda la vegetación del país, devoraron los frutos de sus campos. 36 Hirió de muerte a todos los primogénitos del país, a las primicias de sus descendientes. 37 Sacó a los israelitas cargados de oro y plata, y no hubo entre sus tribus nadie que tropezara. 38 Los egipcios se alegraron de su partida, pues el miedo a los israelitas los dominaba. 39 El Señor les dio sombra con una nube, y con fuego los alumbró de noche. 40 Pidió el pueblo comida, y les envió codornices; los sació con pan del cielo. 41 Abrió la roca, y brotó agua que corrió por el desierto como un río. 42 Ciertamente Dios se acordó de su santa promesa, la que hizo a su siervo Abraham. 43 Sacó a su pueblo, a sus escogidos, en medio de gran alegría y de gritos jubilosos. 44 Les entregó las tierras que poseían las naciones; heredaron el fruto del trabajo de otros pueblos 45 para que ellos observaran sus preceptos y pusieran en práctica sus leyes. ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el Señor!
