(Sal 42,1)2 HERR, du hast Gefallen gefunden an deinem Land, hast die Gefangenschaft Jakobs gewendet. (Sal 126,1)3 Du hast vergeben die Ungerechtigkeit deines Volkes, alle ihre Sünde hast du zugedeckt. // (De 32,43; Is 40,1; Ger 50,20; Mi 7,19)4 Du hast zurückgezogen all deinen Grimm, hast dich abgewandt von der Glut deines Zorns.

Salmo 85

King James Version

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other .11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. Lord, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. (Sal 14,7; Sal 42,1; Sal 77,7)2 You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. (Sal 32,1)3 You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. (Eso 32,12; De 13,17; Sal 78,38; Sal 106,23; Gion 3,9)4 Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! (Sal 80,3)5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? (Sal 79,5)6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? (Sal 71,20; Sal 90,14; Sal 149,2)7 Show us your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.8 Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. (Sal 49,13; Sal 50,5; Abac 2,1; Ag 2,9; Zac 9,10; 2P 2,21)9 Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. (Is 46,13; Zac 2,5; Giov 1,14)10 Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. (Sal 40,11; Sal 72,3; Sal 89,14; Is 45,8)11 Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky.12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. (Sal 67,6; Sal 84,11; Giac 1,17)13 Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way. (Sal 89,14; Is 58,8)
