La tua gelosia arderà come fuoco per sempre?6Riversa l’ira tua sulle nazioni che non ti conoscono e sui regni che non invocano il tuo nome,7poiché hanno divorato Giacobbe e hanno devastato la sua dimora.8Non ricordare a nostro danno le colpe dei nostri antenati; affrèttati, ci vengano incontro le tue compassioni, poiché siamo molto afflitti.9Soccorrici, o Dio della nostra salvezza, per la gloria del tuo nome; liberaci, e perdona i nostri peccati, per amore del tuo nome.10Perché direbbero i popoli: «Dov’è il loro Dio?» Si conosca tra le nazioni, sotto i nostri occhi, la vendetta per il sangue dei tuoi servi, che è stato sparso.11Giunga fino a te il gemito dei prigionieri; secondo la potenza del tuo braccio, salva quelli che sono condannati a morte.12Restituisci ai nostri vicini sette volte tanto l’oltraggio che ti hanno fatto, o Signore!13E noi, tuo popolo e gregge del tuo pascolo, ti celebreremo in eterno, proclameremo la tua lode per ogni età.

Denn wir sind sehr gering[3] geworden.9Hilf uns, Gott unseres Heils[4], um der Ehre[5] deines Namens willen. Rette uns und vergib unsere Sünden um deines Namens willen! (Ez 20,44)10Warum sollen die Nationen sagen: Wo ist ihr Gott? Lass unter den Nationen vor unseren Augen kundwerden,[6] dass du das vergossene Blut deiner Knechte rächst[7]! di Biblica1Oh Dios, los pueblos paganos han invadido tu herencia; han profanado tu santo templo, han dejado en ruinas a Jerusalén.2Han entregado los cadáveres de tus siervos como alimento de las aves del cielo; han destinado los cuerpos de tus fieles para comida de los animales salvajes.3Por toda Jerusalén han derramado su sangre, como si derramaran agua, y no hay quien entierre a los muertos.4Nuestros vecinos hacen mofa de nosotros; somos blanco de las burlas de quienes nos rodean.5¿Hasta cuándo, Señor? ¿Vas a estar enojado para siempre? ¿Arderá tu celo como el fuego?6¡Enójate con las naciones que no te reconocen, con los reinos que no invocan tu nombre!7Porque a Jacob se lo han devorado, y al país lo han dejado en ruinas.8No nos tomes en cuenta los pecados de ayer; ¡venga pronto tu misericordia a nuestro encuentro, porque estamos totalmente abatidos!9Oh Dios y salvador nuestro, por la gloria de tu nombre, ayúdanos; por tu nombre, líbranos y perdona nuestros pecados.10¿Por qué van a decir las naciones: «¿Dónde está su Dios?» Permítenos ver, y muéstrales a los pueblos paganos cómo tomas venganza de la sangre de tus siervos.11Que lleguen a tu presencia los gemidos de los cautivos, y por la fuerza de tu brazo salva a los condenados a muerte.12Señor, haz que sientan nuestros vecinos, siete veces y en carne propia, el oprobio que han lanzado contra ti.13Y nosotros, tu pueblo y ovejas de tu prado, te alabaremos por siempre; de generación en generación cantaremos tus alabanzas.
