1O Signore, perché te ne stai lontano? Perché ti nascondi in tempo d’angoscia?2L’empio nella sua superbia perseguita con furore i miseri; essi rimangono presi nelle insidie tese dai malvagi;3poiché l’empio si gloria delle brame dell’anima sua, benedice il rapace e disprezza il Signore.4L’empio, con viso altero, dice: «Il Signore non farà inchieste». Tutti i suoi pensieri sono: «Non c’è Dio!»5Le sue vie son prospere in ogni tempo; cosa troppo alta per lui sono i tuoi giudizi; con un soffio egli disperde tutti i suoi nemici.6Egli dice in cuor suo: «Non sarò mai smosso; d’età in età non m’accadrà male alcuno».7La sua bocca è piena di maledizione, di frodi e di violenza; sotto la sua lingua c’è malizia e iniquità.8Egli sta in agguato nei villaggi, uccide l’innocente in luoghi nascosti; i suoi occhi spiano il misero.9Sta in agguato nel suo nascondiglio come un leone nella sua tana, sta in agguato per sorprendere il misero; egli sorprende lo sventurato trascinandolo nella sua rete.10Se ne sta quatto e chino, e gli infelici soccombono alla sua forza.11Dice in cuor suo: «Dio dimentica, nasconde la sua faccia, non vedrà mai».12Ergiti, o Signore! O Dio, alza la tua mano! Non dimenticare i miseri.13Perché l’empio disprezza Dio? Perché dice in cuor suo: «Non ne chiederà conto»?14Invece tu hai visto; poiché tu guardi la malvagità e l’oppressione per poi ripagare con la tua mano. A te si abbandona il misero; tu sei il sostegno dell’orfano.15Spezza il braccio dell’empio e del malvagio; chiedi conto della sua empietà, finché tu non ne trovi più.16Il Signore è re in eterno; le nazioni sono state sterminate dalla sua terra.17O Signore, tu esaudisci il desiderio degli umili; tu fortifichi il cuor loro, porgi il tuo orecchio18per rendere giustizia all’orfano e all’oppresso, affinché l’uomo, che è fatto di terra, cessi d’incutere spavento.

di Biblica1¿Por qué, Señor, te mantienes distante? ¿Por qué te escondes en momentos de angustia?2Con arrogancia persigue el malvado al indefenso, pero se enredará en sus propias artimañas.3El malvado hace alarde de su propia codicia; alaba al ambicioso y menosprecia al Señor.4El malvado levanta insolente la nariz, y no da lugar a Dios en sus pensamientos.5Todas sus empresas son siempre exitosas; tan altos y alejados de él están tus juicios que se burla de todos sus enemigos.6Y se dice a sí mismo: «Nada me hará caer. Siempre seré feliz. Nunca tendré problemas.»7Llena está su boca de maldiciones, de mentiras y amenazas; bajo su lengua esconde maldad y violencia.8Se pone al acecho en las aldeas, se esconde en espera de sus víctimas, y asesina a mansalva al inocente.9Cual león en su guarida se agazapa, listo para atrapar al indefenso; le cae encima y lo arrastra en su red.10Bajo el peso de su poder, sus víctimas caen por tierra.11Se dice a sí mismo: «Dios se ha olvidado.
