1 Für den Chorleiter: Ein Psalm, für Begleitung mit Saiteninstrumenten. 2 Gott, sei uns gnädig und segne uns. Er lasse sein Angesicht gnädig über uns leuchten. (4Mo 6,25; Ps 4,7; Ps 80,4) 3 Auf der ganzen Welt soll dein Weg bekannt werden, alle Menschen sollen sehen, wie du hilfst. (Apg 18,25; Tit 2,11) 4 Gott, die Völker sollen dir danken, alle Völker sollen dich loben. (Ps 66,4) 5 Die Völker werden sich freuen und vor Freude jubeln, weil du sie gerecht richtest und alle Völker auf der Erde regierst. (Ps 96,10) 6 Gott, die Völker sollen dir danken, alle Völker sollen dich loben. (Ps 22,28) 7 Dann wird die Erde eine gute Ernte hervorbringen, und Gott, unser Gott, wird uns überreich segnen. (3Mo 26,4; Hes 34,27) 8 Ja, Gott wird uns segnen, und die Völker der Welt werden ihn verehren. (Ps 33,8)

1 God, have mercy on us and bless us. May you be pleased with us. 2 Then your ways will be known on earth. All nations will see that you have the power to save. 3 God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you. 4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy. You rule the people of the earth fairly. You guide the nations of the earth. 5 God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you. 6 The land produces its crops. God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God continue to bless us. Then people from one end of the earth to the other will have respect for him.

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, (4Mo 6,25; Ps 4,1; Ps 4,6) 2 that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. (Ps 98,3; Lk 2,30; Apg 18,25; Tit 2,11)

3 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! (Ps 22,27) 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth.
