When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.9Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.10The Lord will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.11Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house.12But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
The suffering and glory of the servant
13See, my servant will act wisely[2]; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.14Just as there were many who were appalled at him[3] – his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness –15so he will sprinkle many nations,[4] and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

Gute Botschaft für Zion
7Wie lieblich klingen die Schritte des Freudenboten auf den Bergen, der Frieden verkündet, der gute Botschaft bringt, der Rettung verkündet, der zu Zion spricht: Dein Gott ist König geworden! (Isa 61:1; Na 2:1; Ro 10:15)8Horch, deine Wächter haben die Stimme erhoben, allesamt jubeln sie, denn Auge in Auge werden sie sehen, wie der HERR zurückkehrt nach Zion. (Isa 62:6)9Freut euch, jubelt allesamt, ihr Trümmerstätten Jerusalems! Denn der HERR hat sein Volk getröstet, hat Jerusalem erlöst. (Isa 12:6)10Vor den Augen aller Nationen hat der HERR seinen heiligen Arm entblösst, und alle Enden der Erde werden das Heil unseres Gottes sehen. (Isa 30:30; Isa 33:13)11Flieht! Flieht! Das Leiden des Gottesknechts
13Sieh, mein Diener wird Erfolg haben, er wird emporsteigen, wird hoch erhoben und sehr erhaben sein. (Isa 42:1)14Wie sich viele über dich entsetzt haben - so entstellt, nicht mehr menschlich war sein Aussehen, und seine Gestalt war nicht wie die eines Menschen -, (Isa 53:2)15so wird er viele Nationen besprengen,[2] und Könige werden ihren Mund vor ihm verschliessen. Denn was ihnen nie erzählt wurde, werden sie gesehen haben, und was sie nie hörten, werden sie verstanden haben. (Ro 15:21)
