Psalm 95

1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 

2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 

3 For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. 

4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. 

5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 

6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; 

7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, 

8 ‘Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness, 

9 where your ancestors tested me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did. 

10 For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.” 

11 So I declared on oath in my anger, “They shall never enter my rest.” ’

1 Kommt, lasst uns dem HERRN zujubeln und jauchzen dem Fels unsres Heils! (De 32:15; Ps 34:4; Ps 81:2; Ps 94:22; Isa 12:6) 

2 Lasst uns ihm begegnen mit Lobgesang und mit Psalmen ihm zujauchzen! (Ps 100:2; Ps 100:4) 

3 Denn der HERR ist ein großer Gott und ein großer König über alle Götter. (Ps 47:3; Ps 96:4; Ps 97:9) 

4 In seiner Hand sind die Tiefen der Erde, und die Gipfel der Berge gehören ihm. (Job 12:10; Ps 31:16; Ec 9:1) 

5 Sein ist das Meer, denn er hat es gemacht, und seine Hände haben das Festland bereitet. (Re 14:7) 

6 Kommt, lasst uns anbeten und uns beugen, lasst uns niederfallen vor dem HERRN, unserem Schöpfer! (Ps 149:2; Ec 12:1; Ho 8:14) 

7 Denn er ist unser Gott, und wir sind das Volk seiner Weide und die Schafe seiner Hand. »Heute, wenn ihr seine Stimme hört, (Ps 31:15; Ps 100:3; Joh 10:4; Joh 10:16; Joh 10:27; Heb 3:11) 

8 so verstockt eure Herzen nicht, wie bei der Herausforderung, am Tag der Versuchung in der Wüste, (Ex 17:2; Heb 3:7; Heb 3:15) 

9 wo mich eure Väter versuchten; sie prüften mich — und sahen doch mein Werk! (Nu 14:22; De 6:16) 

10 Vierzig Jahre empfand ich Ekel vor diesem Geschlecht; und ich sprach: Sie sind ein Volk, das in seinem Herzen in die Irre geht, und sie haben meine Wege nicht erkannt, (Le 26:30; Job 21:14; Ps 78:8; Ps 78:37; Jer 14:19; Ro 1:21) 

11 sodass ich schwor in meinem Zorn: Sie sollen nicht in meine Ruhe eingehen!« (De 12:9; Heb 3:11; Heb 3:18; Heb 4:1)
