Psalm 93

New International Version

1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. 

2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. 

3 The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. 

4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea – the Lord on high is mighty. 

5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.

Regno di Dio sull’universo

1 Il Signore regna; egli si è rivestito di maestà; il Signore si è rivestito, si è cinto di forza; il mondo quindi è stabile, e non sarà scosso. 

2 Il tuo trono è saldo dai tempi antichi, tu esisti dall’eternità. 

3 I fiumi hanno alzato, o Signore, i fiumi hanno alzato la loro voce; i fiumi elevano il loro fragore. 

4 Più delle voci delle grandi, delle potenti acque, più dei flutti del mare, il Signore è potente nei luoghi altissimi. 

5 I tuoi statuti sono perfettamente stabili; la santità si addice alla tua casa, o Signore, per sempre.
