Psalm 93

New International Version

1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. 2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. 3 The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. 4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea – the Lord on high is mighty. 5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.

1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. 2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. 3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. 4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. 5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

2 Dein Thron steht fest von alters her, von Ewigkeit her bist du. (Ps 55:20; Ps 90:2) 3 Ströme erhoben, HERR, Ströme erhoben ihr Tosen, Ströme erheben ihr Brausen. (Ps 46:3) 4 Mächtiger als das Tosen gewaltiger Wasser, wuchtiger Brecher des Meeres, ⟨mächtiger⟩ ist der HERR in der Höhe. (Ps 29:4; Mt 8:27) 5 Deine Zeugnisse sind sehr zuverlässig.
