1I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:[1] There is no fear of God before their eyes.2In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.3The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.4Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course and do not reject what is wrong.5Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.6Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.7How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.8They feast in the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.9For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.10Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.11May the foot of the proud not come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.12See how the evildoers lie fallen – thrown down, not able to rise!

(Ro 3:18)3Denn es schmeichelt ihm in seinen Augen, seine Sünde zu vollbringen, Hass zu üben.4Unheil und Betrug[4] sind die Worte seines Mundes; er hat es aufgegeben, verständig zu handeln, Gutes zu tun. (Jer 4:22)5Unheil ersinnt er auf seinem Lager; er betritt einen Weg, der nicht gut ist; Böses verschmäht er nicht. (Isa 65:2; Mic 2:1)6HERR, an den Himmel reicht deine Gnade, deine Treue bis zu den Wolken. (Ps 31:20)7Deine Gerechtigkeit ist den Bergen Gottes gleich, dein Recht der großen Flut; Menschen und Vieh rettest du, HERR. (Ps 71:19)8Wie kostbar ist deine Gnade, Gott, und Menschenkinder bergen sich im Schatten deiner Flügel; (Ps 17:8; Ps 31:20)9sie laben sich am Fett deines Hauses, und mit dem Strom deiner Wonnen tränkst du sie. (Ps 65:5)10Denn bei dir ist der Quell des Lebens; in deinem Licht sehen wir das Licht. (Isa 2:5; Joh 1:4; Joh 4:14; Re 21:6; Re 22:1)11Erhalte deine Gnade denen, die dich kennen, und deine Gerechtigkeit den von Herzen Aufrichtigen!12Nicht erreiche mich der Fuß der Hochmütigen, und die Hand der Gottlosen vertreibe mich nicht!13Da sind gefallen, die Unheil wirken; sie wurden umgestoßen und können nicht mehr aufstehen.
