1Lova Herren i himlen! Prisa honom i höjden!2Lova honom, alla hans änglar, hela himlens här!3Lova honom, sol och måne och alla lysande stjärnor.4Lova honom, ni himlar som finns där ovan! Lova honom, ni dimmor högt ovan molnen!5Låt allt som han har skapat lova honom, för han gav order om att de skulle bli till.6Han gav dem för alltid deras plats. Hans befallningar kan aldrig upphävas.7Lova honom du jord och ni varelser i havens djup.8Låt eld och hagel, snö och regn, väder och vind, lyda honom.9Låt berg och kullar, fruktträd och cedrar,10vilddjur och boskap, ormar och fåglar lova honom.11Låt kungar och folk med sina härskare och domare,12unga män och flickor,13ja, låt alla lova Herren tillsammans. Han, bara han, är värd det. Hans härlighet är mycket större än jorden och himlen.14Han har gjort sitt folk starkt och gett det hopp. Därför lovar Israel honom, det folk som står honom närmast. Halleluja! Ja, lova Herren!
