A song for those who go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord. A psalm of David.

1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in peace! 

2 It’s like the special olive oil that was poured on Aaron’s head. It ran down on his beard and on the collar of his robe. 

3 It’s as if the dew of Mount Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. There the LORD gives his blessing. He gives life that never ends.

Segen der brüderlichen Eintracht

1 Von David, ein Wallfahrtslied. Siehe, wie fein und lieblich ist’s, wenn Brüder einträchtig beieinander wohnen! (Ge 13:8) 

2 Es ist wie das feine Salböl auf dem Haupte Aarons, / das herabfließt in seinen Bart, das herabfließt zum Saum seines Kleides, (Ex 29:7; Ex 30:23) 

3 wie der Tau, der vom Hermon herabfällt auf die Berge Zions! Denn dort verheißt der HERR Segen und Leben bis in Ewigkeit.
