He remains faithful for ever.7He stands up for those who are treated badly. He gives food to hungry people. The LORD sets prisoners free.8The LORD gives sight to those who are blind. The LORD lifts up those who feel helpless. The LORD loves those who do what is right.9The LORD watches over the outsiders who live in our land. He takes good care of children whose fathers have died. He also takes good care of widows. But he causes evil people to fail in everything they do.10The LORD rules for ever. The God of Zion will rule for all time to come. Praise the LORD.

Ja, prisa honom innerligt!2Jag tänker sjunga hans lov så länge jag lever, ja, ända till mitt sista andetag.3Lita inte på människor som har makt och inflytande.4De är också människor som kommer att dö, och de kommer inte att kunna hjälpa någon. Han lyfter av bördorna på dem som dignar under deras tyngd. Han älskar de människor som visar honom trohet.9Han skyddar främlingar som bor i landet. Han har omsorg om föräldralösa och änkor, men de ogudaktigas planer krossar han.10Herren ska regera för evigt. Jerusalem, din Gud är kung från släkte till släkte! Halleluja! Lova Herren!
