Psalm 125

New International Reader’s Version

A song for those who go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord.

1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. They will always be secure. They will last for ever. 

2 Like the mountains around Jerusalem, the LORD is all around his people both now and for ever. 

3 Evil people will not always rule the land the LORD gave to those who do right. If they did, those who do right might do what is evil. 

4 LORD, do good to those who are good. Do good to those whose hearts are honest. 

5 But the LORD will drive out those who have taken crooked paths. He will drive them out with those who do evil things. May Israel enjoy peace.

1 Песен на възкачванията. Онези, които уповават на ГОСПОДА, са като хълма Сион, който не може да се поклати, а довека остава. 

2 Както хълмовете окръжават Йерусалим, така ГОСПОД окръжава народа Си отсега и довека. 

3 Защото нечестието няма да налага скиптъра си върху участта на праведните, да не би праведните да протягат ръце към беззаконието. (Pr 22:8; Isa 14:5) 

4 Стори добро, ГОСПОДИ, на добрите и на правдивите по сърце. 

5 А онези, които се отклоняват в кривите си пътища, тях ГОСПОД ще отведе заедно с онези, които вършат беззаконие. Мир на Израил! (Ps 128:6; Pr 2:15; Ga 6:16)
