Allein seine starke Hand, sein heiliger Arm, brachte die entscheidende Hilfe.[1]2Der HERR hat gezeigt, dass er Rettung verschafft; vor den Augen aller Völker ließ er offenbar werden, wie er Heil schenkt[2].3Er hat sich ´an sein Versprechen` erinnert, Israel zu lieben und ihm treu zu sein. Bis ans Ende der Erde ist nun bekannt, wie unser Gott ´uns` gerettet hat.4Alle Welt juble dem HERRN zu. Ja, freut euch, jubelt und lasst Musik ertönen –5spielt zu Ehren des HERRN auf der Zither! Lasst die Zither hören und singt!6Trompeten und der Schall des Widderhorns sollen erklingen, jubelt dem HERRN, unserem König, zu!7Rauschen soll das Meer mit allem, was in ihm lebt, und die Erde mit all ihren Bewohnern stimme ein!8Die Flüsse sollen in die Hände klatschen und die Berge gemeinsam mit ihnen in Jubel ausbrechen,9wenn der HERR kommt, um auf der Erde Gericht zu halten. Er wird die Welt gerecht richten und über alle Völker ein Urteil sprechen, durch das sich seine Aufrichtigkeit zeigt.
