Richte mein Herz auf eines aus: deinem Namen in Ehrfurcht zu begegnen.12Ich will dir, Herr, mein Gott, von ganzem Herzen danken, deinen Namen möchte ich ehren für alle Zeit.13Denn deine Liebe zu mir ist unermesslich: Du hast mich den Tiefen des Totenreichs entrissen.14Gott, vermessene Menschen treten mir als Feinde entgegen, eine Rotte gewalttätiger Leute trachtet mir nach dem Leben. Du bist ihnen völlig gleichgültig.15Aber du, Herr, bist ein barmherziger und gnädiger Gott, du gerätst nicht schnell in Zorn, sondern bist reich an Liebe und Treue.16Wende dich mir wieder zu und sei mir gnädig! Verleih deinem Diener deine Kraft, und hilf dem Sohn deiner Dienerin!17Gib mir ein Zeichen dafür, dass du es gut mit mir meinst.
