Sé para mí la gran roca que me protege de mis enemigos.3Sí, tú eres mi roca y mi fortaleza; honra el nombre tuyo sacándome de este peligro.4Líbrame de la trampa que mis enemigos han armado para mí. Porque sólo en ti hallo protección.5En tus manos encomiendo mi espíritu. Tú, el Dios que cumple sus promesas, me has rescatado.6Odio a los que adoran ídolos sin valor; yo confío en el SEÑOR.7Irradio gozo por tu misericordia; porque me has escuchado en mis tribulaciones y has visto las crisis de mi espíritu.8No me entregaste a mi enemigo sino que me pusiste en un lugar seguro.9¡SEÑOR, apiádate de mí en mi angustia! Tengo los ojos enrojecidos de llorar; el dolor ha quebrantado mi salud.10Me va consumiendo la pena; mis años se han acortado, agotados por la tristeza. Mi desgracia ha acabado con mi fuerza. Me estoy acabando por dentro.11Todos mis enemigos se burlan, mis vecinos me desprecian y mis amigos tienen miedo de acercárseme. Temen toparse conmigo; vuelven la vista cuando yo paso.12Me han echado al olvido como a un muerto, como a vasija rota y desechada.13Son muchos los rumores que he oído acerca de mí, y estoy rodeado de terror. Se han confabulado contra mí mis enemigos, porque traman quitarme la vida.14Pero yo confío en ti, SEÑOR y digo: Tú eres mi Dios.15En tus manos está mi vida entera. Rescátame de quienes me persiguen implacables.16Que tu gracia brille sobre tu siervo; ¡sálvame tan sólo por tu misericordia!17SEÑOR, no permitas que me avergüencen, porque a ti he clamado. Que sean avergonzados los malvados, y acallados en el sepulcro.18Que sean silenciados sus labios mentirosos, porque hablan contra los justos con orgullo, desdén e insolencia.19¡Cuán grande es tu bondad para los que a la vista de la gente declaran que tú los rescatarás! Porque guardas grandes bendiciones para quienes en ti confían y te reverencian.20Oculta a tus amados en el refugio de tu presencia, a salvo bajo tu mano, a salvo de las lenguas acusadoras.21¡Bendito el SEÑOR, porque me ha demostrado que su infaltable amor me protege como cuando me hallaba en una ciudad a la que iban a atacar!22Hablé a la ligera cuando dije: «El SEÑOR me ha abandonado», pues tú escuchaste mi plegaria y me respondiste.23¡Amen al SEÑOR, ustedes los que le son fieles. El SEÑOR protege a quienes le son leales; pero castiga duramente a cuantos lo rechazan altivos.24Anímense y sean fuertes todos ustedes que confían en el SEÑOR.
