Salmo de David.

1 Alaben al SEÑOR, seres celestiales, alábenlo por su gloria y su fortaleza. 

2 Alábenlo por su majestuosa gloria; la gloria de su nombre. Preséntense ante él en su majestuoso santuario. 

3 La voz del SEÑOR resuena sobre el mar. El Dios de gloria retumba sobre el impetuoso mar. 

4 Potente y majestuosa es la voz del SEÑOR. 

5 La voz del SEÑOR desgaja los cedros, despedaza los potentes cedros del Líbano. 

6 Sacude las montañas del Líbano y hace que parezcan becerros saltando; y al monte Hermón que parezca toro salvaje saltando. Estos saltan y corretean ante él como ternerillos. 

7 La voz del SEÑOR lanza ráfagas de fuego; 

8 la voz del SEÑOR sacude al desierto y el SEÑOR sacude al desierto de Cades. 

9 La voz del SEÑOR retuerce los fuertes robles y los desgaja; desnuda los bosques. Pero en su templo todos pregonan: «Gloria, gloria al SEÑOR». 

10 El SEÑOR gobierna sobre las lluvias. El SEÑOR reina por siempre. 

11 Él dará fuerza a su pueblo. Derramará paz como bendición sobre ellos.

Ascribe to the Lord Glory

A Psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (1 Cr 16:28; 1 Cr 16:29; Sal 68:34; Sal 96:7; Sal 96:8) 

2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Ex 28:2; 1 Cr 16:29; Sal 110:3) 

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters. (Job 37:4; Job 37:5; Sal 18:11) 

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Sal 68:33) 

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. (Jue 9:15; Sal 104:16) 

6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. (Nm 23:22; Dt 3:9; Sal 114:4; Sal 114:6) 

7 The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. 

8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. (Nm 13:26) 

9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!” (Job 39:1) 

10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. (Gn 6:17; Sal 10:16) 

11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace! (Sal 68:35; Is 40:29; Flp 4:7)
