1 Hacia las montañas levanto la mirada; ¿de dónde vendrá mi ayuda? 2 Mi ayuda viene del SEÑOR, que hizo los cielos y la tierra. 3 No permitirá que resbales y caigas; jamás duerme el que te cuida. 4 De verdad, jamás duerme ni se cansa el que cuida a Israel. 5 ¡El SEÑOR mismo te cuida! El SEÑOR está a tu lado como tu sombra protectora. 6 El sol no te hará daño de día ni la luna de noche. 7 Te guarda de todo mal y protege tu vida. 8 El SEÑOR te cuida cuando vas y cuando vienes, desde ahora y para siempre.

1 A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? (Sal 48:1; Sal 87:1; Sal 120:1; Sal 123:1; Sal 133:3; Jer 3:23) 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Sal 20:2; Sal 115:15; Sal 124:8) 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. (1 S 2:9; Sal 41:2; Sal 66:9; Sal 97:10; Sal 127:1; Pr 3:23; Pr 3:26; Is 27:3) 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. (Sal 16:8; Sal 91:1) 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. (2 R 4:19; Is 49:10; Jon 4:8; Ap 7:16) 7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
