1»Esta es la ceremonia para la dedicación de Aarón y sus hijos como sacerdotes: Tomarás un becerro y dos carneros sin defectos,2pan y tortas sin levadura, pasados por aceite, y hojaldres sin levadura, sobre los que se haya rociado aceite. Los diversos tipos de pan estarán hechos de harina fina.3-4Colocarás el pan en un canasto y lo llevarás a la entrada del santuario, junto con el becerro y los dos carneros. »Bañarás a Aarón y a sus hijos allí a la entrada.5Luego vestirás a Aarón con su túnica, el efod, el pectoral y el cinto,6y le pondrás en la cabeza la mitra con la lámina de oro.7Tomarás el aceite de la unción y lo derramarás sobre su cabeza.8Después vestirás a sus hijos con sus túnicas9y sus cintos tejidos, y les pondrás las mitras. Serán sacerdotes para siempre. De esa manera consagrarás a Aarón y a sus hijos.10»Traerás el becerro al santuario, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del animal.11Lo matarás delante del SEÑOR, a la entrada del santuario.12Pondrás su sangre sobre los cuernos del altar, mojándolos con el dedo, y derramarás el resto en la base del altar.13Tomarás toda la grasa que cubre los intestinos y el hígado, así como los dos riñones y la grasa que hay sobre ellos, y los quemarás sobre el altar.14Después tomarás el cuerpo, incluyendo la piel y el excremento, los llevarás fuera del campamento y los quemarás como una ofrenda por el pecado.15-16»Luego Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza de uno de los carneros que va a ser sacrificado. Su sangre será recogida para ser rociada sobre el altar.17Cortarás el carnero en pedazos, y lavarás los intestinos y las piernas; lo pondrás con la cabeza y las demás partes del cuerpo18y lo quemarás sobre el altar. Este es un holocausto de muy grato olor para el SEÑOR.19-20»Luego tomarás el otro carnero, y Aarón y sus hijos le pondrán las manos sobre la cabeza mientras lo sacrifican. Tomarás un poco de la sangre y la untarás en el lóbulo de la oreja derecha y en los pulgares de la mano derecha y del pie derecho de Aarón y de sus hijos; con el resto rociarás el altar.21También tomarás sangre del altar, la mezclarás con aceite de la unción, y rociarás esto sobre Aarón, sus hijos y sus vestiduras. En esta forma ellos serán consagrados al SEÑOR, junto con sus vestiduras.22»Luego, toma del carnero la grasa, la cola, la grasa que cubre los intestinos y el hígado, los dos riñones y la grasa que los rodea, y la espaldilla derecha, porque este es el carnero para la ordenación de Aarón y sus hijos.23Toma también un pan, una torta de pan de aceite y un hojaldre del canastillo de panes sin levadura, que fue puesto delante del SEÑOR,24y ponlos en las manos de Aarón y de sus hijos, quienes los ofrecerán meciéndolos ante el SEÑOR.25Luego ellos te entregarán todos estos productos, para que tú los quemes sobre el altar, como holocausto de olor delante del SEÑOR.26Después tomarás el pecho del carnero de la ordenación de Aarón y lo ofrecerás, meciéndolo delante del SEÑOR. Esta parte del animal será para ti.27»Les darás el pecho y la espadilla del carnero de la consagración28a Aarón y a sus hijos. El pueblo de Israel siempre debe dar esta porción de sus sacrificios de paz a Aarón y a sus hijos, como contribución.29»Las vestiduras sagradas de Aarón serán preservadas para los hijos que le sucedan de generación en generación, en la ceremonia en que sean consagrados como sacerdotes.30Cualquiera que sea el sumo sacerdote que suceda a Aarón, deberá usar estas vestiduras durante siete días, al entrar al santuario para ministrar en el Lugar Santo.31»Tomarás el carnero de la consagración, el carnero usado en la ceremonia ordinaria, y cocerás su carne en un lugar santificado.32Aarón y sus hijos comerán la carne y el pan del canasto en la puerta del santuario.33Sólo ellos comerán estas cosas usadas en su expiación, es decir, en la ceremonia de su consagración. El hombre común no comerá de ello, porque estas cosas son sagradas.34Deberás quemar el pan o la carne que sobre. Lo que sobre no podrá ser comido al día siguiente, porque es sagrado.35»Este, pues, es el modo de ordenar a Aarón y a sus hijos para el desempeño de sus funciones. Esta ordenación durará siete días.36Cada día sacrificarás un becerro como ofrenda expiatoria por el pecado. Después purificarás el altar, haciendo expiación por él y derramando aceite de oliva sobre él para consagrarlo.37Harás expiación por el altar y lo consagrarás a Dios cada uno de los siete días. Después de esto, el altar será muy santo, y cualquiera que lo toque será apartado para el SEÑOR.38»Cada día ofrecerás dos corderos de un año sobre el altar,39uno en la mañana y otro en la tarde.40Con uno de ellos ofrecerás dos kilos de harina fina, mezclada con un litro de aceite de oliva y un litro de vino, para la libación.41Ofrecerás el otro cordero en la tarde, junto con la harina y el vino para la libación, como se hizo en la mañana, como ofrenda de olor fragante al SEÑOR.42»Esta será una ofrenda diaria que me ofrecerán todos los israelitas, a través de todas sus generaciones. Me la ofrecerán a la entrada del santuario, que es el lugar donde me encontraré contigo y te hablaré.43Allí me reuniré con el pueblo de Israel, y el santuario será santificado por mi gloria.44Yo santificaré el santuario y el altar, y a Aarón y a sus hijos, que son mis ministros, mis sacerdotes.45Viviré en medio del pueblo de Israel y seré su Dios,46y ellos sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR su Dios. Yo los saqué de Egipto para vivir entre ellos. Yo soy el SEÑOR su Dios.
1“Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. Take one bull of the herd and two rams without blemish, (Lv 8:2)2and unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers smeared with oil. You shall make them of fine wheat flour. (Lv 2:4; Lv 6:20)3You shall put them in one basket and bring them in the basket, and bring the bull and the two rams.4You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water. Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull. (Ex 29:15; Ex 29:19; Lv 1:4; Lv 8:14)11Then you shall kill the bull before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting,12and shall take part of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and the rest of[1] the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar. (Ex 27:2; Lv 8:15)13And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar. (Lv 3:3)14But the flesh of the bull and its skin and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering. (Ex 29:36; Ex 30:10; Lv 4:11; Lv 4:21; Nm 19:3; Nm 19:5; Heb 13:11)15“Then you shall take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram, (Ex 29:1; Ex 29:19; Lv 1:4; Lv 8:14; Lv 8:18)16and you shall kill the ram and shall take its blood and throw it against the sides of the altar.17Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head, (Lv 8:20)18and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord. It is a pleasing aroma, a food offering[2] to the Lord. (Gn 8:21; Ex 29:25; Ex 29:41)19“You shall take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram, (Ex 29:1; Ex 29:15; Lv 8:22)20and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.21Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. He and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him. (Ex 29:7)22“You shall also take the fat from the ram and the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of ordination), (Ex 29:13; Lv 7:37; Lv 8:28; Lv 8:31; Lv 8:33)23and one loaf of bread and one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before the Lord. (Ex 29:2; Lv 8:26)24You shall put all these on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and wave them for a wave offering before the Lord. (Lv 7:30; Lv 8:27; Lv 8:29; Nm 5:25; Nm 6:20)25Then you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the Lord. It is a food offering to the Lord. (Ex 29:18; Ex 29:41; Lv 6:22; Lv 8:28)26“You shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it for a wave offering before the Lord, and it shall be your portion. (Ex 29:22; Ex 29:24; Lv 8:29)27And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering that is waved and the thigh of the priests’ portion that is contributed from the ram of ordination, from what was Aaron’s and his sons’. (Ex 29:26; Lv 7:31; Lv 7:32; Lv 7:34; Lv 10:14; Lv 10:15; Nm 18:11; Nm 18:18)28It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the people of Israel, for it is a contribution. It shall be a contribution from the people of Israel from their peace offerings, their contribution to the Lord. (Ex 29:26; Lv 10:15)29“The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him; they shall be anointed in them and ordained in them. (Ex 29:9; Nm 18:8; Nm 20:26; Nm 20:28)30The son who succeeds him as priest, who comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place, shall wear them seven days. (Lv 8:33; Lv 8:35)31“You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place. (Lv 8:31)32And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket in the entrance of the tent of meeting. (Mt 12:4)33They shall eat those things with which atonement was made at their ordination and consecration, but an outsider shall not eat of them, because they are holy. (Lv 10:14; Lv 10:17; Lv 22:10)34And if any of the flesh for the ordination or of the bread remain until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy. (Lv 8:32)35“Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. Through seven days shall you ordain them, (Lv 8:33)36and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it to consecrate it. (Ex 29:14; Ex 30:10; Ex 30:26; Ex 30:28; Ex 40:10)37Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall become holy. (Ex 30:29; Ex 40:10; Mt 23:19)38“Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day regularly. (Nm 28:3; 1 Cr 16:40; 2 Cr 2:4; 2 Cr 13:11; 2 Cr 31:3; Esd 3:3; Dn 8:11; Dn 9:27; Dn 12:11; Heb 10:11)39One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight. (1 R 18:29; 1 R 18:36; 2 R 16:15; Esd 9:4; Sal 141:2; Ez 46:13; Dn 9:21)40And with the first lamb a tenth measure[3] of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin[4] of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering.41The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as in the morning, for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. (Ex 29:18; Ex 29:25; Ex 29:39; Ex 30:9; Ex 40:29)42It shall be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. (Ex 25:22; Nm 28:6)43There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory. (Ex 40:34; 1 R 8:11; 2 Cr 5:14; 2 Cr 7:1; Ez 43:5; Hag 2:7; Hag 2:9; Mal 3:1)44I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate to serve me as priests. (Lv 21:15; Lv 22:9; Lv 22:16)45I will dwell among the people of Israel and will be their God. (Ex 25:8; Lv 26:12; Zac 2:10; 2 Co 6:16; Ap 21:3)46And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.
