1 رَبُّ مَا أَكْثَرَ خُصُومِي! كَثِيرُونَ يَقُومُونَ عَلَيَّ. 2 كَثِيرُونَ يَقُولُونَ عَنِّي: لَا خَلاصَ لَهُ بِإِلَهِهِ. 3 وَلَكِنَّكَ أَنْتَ يَا رَبُّ تُرْسِي. إِنَّكَ مَجْدِي وَرَافِعُ رَأْسِي. 4 بِمِلْءِ صَوْتِي أَدْعُو إِلَى الرَّبِّ فَيُجِيبُنِي مِنْ جَبَلِهِ الْمُقَدَّسِ. 5 رَقَدْتُ فَنِمْتُ، ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْتُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُصِيبَنِي شَرٌّ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ يَسْنِدُنِي. 6 لَنْ أَخْشَى عَشَرَاتِ الأُلُوفِ مِنَ البَشَرِ الْمُلْتَفِّينَ حَوْلِي، الْمُحْتَشِدِينَ لِمُحَارَبَتِي. 7 قُمْ يَا رَبُّ. خَلِّصْنِي يَا إِلَهِي! فَإِنَّكَ قَدْ ضَرَبْتَ جَمِيعَ أَعْدَائِي عَلَى فُكُوكِهِمْ، فَهَشَّمْتَ أَسْنَانَ الأَشْرَارِ. 8 أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ الْمُخَلِّصُ يَا رَبُّ. فَلْتَفِضْ بَرَكَتُكَ عَلَى شَعْبِكَ.

1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; (2صم 15:12; 2صم 15:14; 2صم 18:31) 2 many are saying of my soul, “There is no salvation for him in God.” [1] (2صم 16:8; مز 71:11) 3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
